Avocets have to be one of my favourite birds.

OUT and ABOUT

The Following were taken at 2 of my favourite places, Stithians Reservoir in
 Cornwall and Yarner Woods in Devon. The first 4 are from Yarner were
 we also had good views of Lesser-spotted Woodpecker.

New Life on the Patch.

This is the first time I have ever seen a Dipper in a tree. 
The juveniles are about now so I guess it was keeping an eye on them.
The very cute juvenile Long-tailed Tit was hiding in a bush, the fledglings 
being flushed by a Jay, hope they all got away.
