Be It Ever So Humble There's No Place Like Home ... Sketch Saturday Challenge #196

Well, that's another week been and gone,  and you miss it!  Monday evening we (DH, Mum, Paula, DN = Darling Niece and her cousin) went to a Clairvoyant night.  OMG , we only got a message from  Dad.  Yes, we went being sceptics and basically just looking for a    ... which we did plenty of.  Firstly, with me falling through the door and  that hard and much that I , which consequently caused more laughter.  It did come out with some force though .  There were some inappropriate jokes/comments that I wont repeat, which caused  and then finally my faux pas at the petrol station ... i'm such a .  Went to pay for petrol before filling up cos it was after 10.30pm and made a complete idiot of myself   ... it was one of those occasions where you had to be there to appreciate it!  Tuesday = shopping and decorating.  Wednesday was a trip to the hospital with Mum for her results ... her lesion was definitely skin cancer  , but fortunately it had all been removed they just want to keep a close eye on her.  Wednesday pm = decorating.  Thursday = crafting.  Friday = more decorating.

Home Is A Starting Place Of Love & Dreams .... PTW Challenge

I've had the past couple of days relaxing, making cards, peace and quiet :D ... before Mum returns again tomorrow!  We didn't want her to be on her own seeing the New Year in alone  ... so DH and I are back on the airbed tomorrow night ... sadly, I get so excited about this  can't believe how comfy it is!!!  

This card has been made for my youngest DD, who will be leaving home January 14th, next year  ... I'm on countdown and have been since last week :)!  Whilst I love  her dearly, I can't wait for her to move out with all her faults and the puppy,  and I'm really hoping that becoming totally independent will be the making of her and turn her into a nice young lady!

I made this for our neighbours daughter. When we moved here she was only 3 years old and now at 25 she's moving out to live with her boyfriend. Its going to be odd not seeing her every evening when she comes home from work with a little wave through our lounge window. She's not going far though ... just around the corner from Fae's house, so i'm sure we'll still be seeing her around plenty!
