Pandora Style Bracelet & Box

Here is something else i've been working on when i've not been making cards, soap or chocolates!

I made this hexagonal origami box using a fab tutorial found here. Its very easy to follow and the results are fab ... well i think so anyhow LOL!

The bracelet and beads i got from Beadtime , a fab site with lots of choice ... too much choice at times ...

A similiar actual Pandora bracelet from their website retails at £150.00!

Something a bit different ....

My fab blog buddy Tab has been giving me private lessons in jewellery making. I wanted something different for my 25th ... ahem ... birthday from Fae, something that i could keep. I thought it was about time i had a decent dressy watch seeing as i have 2 wedding's coming up soon and only have my trusty tigger watch with a black leather strap lol! So, thanks to Tab i sent Fae off with a shopping list and pointed her in the direction of a fabby online shop that Tab had told me about.

This afternoon whilst i had a few minutes to myself and not being bothered to make a card, i decided to make my watch. Fae's been asking me for a couple of weeks now if i've done it and it really needs to be made for when the Thai bride gets here .... long story ... will leave that for another day ... lets just say DH's family are weird!

So, this is how it arrived ... well it came in a jiffy bag not actually like that lol!

And, this is what i ended up with ... gosh aren't my wrists thin? I was gonna take a photo of it on but decided against it. I've got really hairy arms and didn't want to scare any of you! No, i'm not a werewolf lol! Let me know what you think. I need to go, Andy has just taken a leave of his senses and is preparing something for tea thats not even on the menu lol! You ask a man to do a simple task .... beyond him! Must be all the excitement of passing his theory test. God help me when he actually is given a license to drive unsupervised. Think i might learn to fly!

Quick Makes For Nursery

I've been asked to make some more birthday cards for the children at nursery and these are the first 2 i've done.

For these cards i used 2 images from my gorgeous friend Vicki who sent me these among others as part of my birthday pressie. I coloured both images with Whisper Markers and used my new white pen that Tab another of my gorgeous, generous friends sent me for my birthday ... dunno if i put them in the right place lol. CS ~ left overs. DP's ~ RAK's but i dont recall who from. Ribbons, buttons, flowers and gems ~ stash.

The above photo is my birthday gift from Fae, Scott and Rylee. I loved the watches that Tab made for her Mum and Mother-in-law at Christmas and i wanted to have a go at it myself ... stay tuned to see my progress lol!

Something Different

My gorgeous fairy blogmother Tab (thanks honey) has waved her magic wand again and magic'd some amazing stuff through my letterbox! Included in my envelope was the most gorgeous clasp, along with other bits and bobs for making jewellery!

I've had these heart beads in my craft cupboard for ages but never knew what to do with them ... dont even know why i bought em ... glad i did though. I made these as part of Andy's Mum Mother's Day pressie ... for my first attempt i'm really chuffed with em!

I also got another speshull envie from my other fairy blogmother Diane. Another filled with gorgeous images and twiddly bits and bobs. I'm so blessed to have such amazingly generous friends and love em to bits (you know who you all are). Mwahs
