I've been a bad blogger!

Sorry I've not been about for the past few days and I've missed a weekly challenge or two, but I've been in a depression of sorts. Just couldn't be bothered, again!! But here are a few cards that I've made since Friday...This is the first of many Father's Day cards I've got to make. I haven't decided whose Dad its for yet, it'll depend on what the next one looks like lol as to whether I send this to my Dad or Andy's! I used Golden Oldies stamp ~ Harv, coloured with H2O's and watercolour pencils, CS from The Papermill Shop, pp from Tabrizia ~ Beach House Impressions, brads from a PIF and sentiment done on PC.

I made this for my good friend Paula who has been feeling really unwell and had a short stay in hospital. I used CS from stash, pp from a PIF along with the image which is also part of a PIF. I coloured it in with my faithful H2O's and used my clear Sakura pen on her shoes to make them look patent, eyelets from stash and sentiment done on PC.
This has to one of my favourites, I just love these Magnolia images and I've even managed to persuade Andy to let me place my first order!!! Anyway, CS from stash, pp from Raspberry Road Design (link on right) ~ My Baby Love Girl, frame cut with Nesties, blooms from stash, No.1 cut with Hippy Chic Alphas on the cuttlebug, image from Jo's RAK and coloured with, yeah you guessed it H2O's and Sakura pens with a touch of angel dust on her wings. Peel offs also from stash and a Crystal Stickers pearl gem. And lastly ......
Rylee asked me to make his Daddy a Father's Day card. I've recently recieved an order from Alota stamps and this is one of them. I wanted stamps that I could use for males as most of my stamps are more for the girlies. I coloured him with my watercolour pencils and tried to use the colouring technique that Ila has on her blog. CS from The Papermill Shop and pp is off the internet somewhere just googled "Jungle paper" and this is what it bought up. I drew the leaves on to a scrap of the same green CS, added a red line with a Sakura Stardust pen and curved them with my bone tool and stuck a foam pad top and bottom of each one to make them a little 3d. Sentiment is done on the PC.

Dad's birthday card - My Paper World sketch #2

I was looking back through all the sketches at My_Paper_World and decided to use sketch #2 to help me make Dad's birthday card. I've got at the moment that I can't make a card without looking at sketches for inspiration!
I used a card blank from The Works, green CS from The Papermill Shop and pp from Raspberry_Road_Designs, Forgotten paper, Norm is a Golden Oldies stamp and coloured with H2O's and watercolour pencils. The sentiment is done on the computer and the letters cut out from the Hippy Chick Alpha die set with the Cuttlebug. Brads are from stash.

Feeling better today, it must be cos the sun is shining ~ hang on in there Vicki, I think I'm on the chorus! Sending you BIG {{hugs}} right back!!!! xxx

Cute Card Thursday - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

This weeks challenge is to make a card for a female. This is easy really, cos its what most of us do most of the time. So here's mine...
For this card I've used a Golden Oldies stamp - Blanche. She's clearly the sort of gal who knows how to have a great time! I've coloured her with Twinkling H2O's and used a bit of glamour dust on her rubber ring. The CS is from Paula's xmas box - The Papermill Shop and paper is from stash. Ribbon is from a PIF and bling is from stash, bloom from Sir Stampalot and Bazzill.

Anne's Candy Alert!

It was Anne's 40th birthday a couple of weeks ago and to celebrate she's giving away some fab blog candy (there seems to a lot around at the minute!). For a chance of winning she wants something made with flowers on it. It doesn't necessarily have to be a card.

Yesterday was my birthday, dont know if I mentioned it! but, it was also the start of my 48 hours of freedom so I was able to do some fab crafting in peace, couldn't use my new nestabilities that the girls got me cos at that point Fae hadn't arrived and Ellie's hadn't been delivered lol. I made 3 cards each one with a flower on. So, if I may I'd like to enter all 3 only because I dont want to have to choose one lol!
This card is made using C.S from poundland, silver holographic card, Raspberry Road - Purple Rain paper, Golden Oldies stamp - Maude, coloured with Sakura stardust and Twinkling H2O's, flower from Sir Stampalot and brad from stash. I used the same layout for this card as the card that Jo sent me for my birthday, which I shall post later.

This card was made using C.S from stash and silver holographic card, Paper from Papermania, Rubber Romance - Robyn the dog lover stamp coloured with Twinkling H2O's and Sakura stardust pens, big flower - bazzill bloom and small one from Sir Stampalot, brad from stash.

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 6 and Michelle's Blog Candy

This weeks challenge is "It's A Man's World!". Obviously, we need to make a card for the men and boys in our life!

Fortunately for me I received my order from Sir Stampalot containing my paper flowers and ahem....3 Golden Oldies stamps that fell in to the basket. Of course I'm blaming Jo for my purchases cos she told me to buy my flowers from there after I asked her to point me in the direction of some cheap ones. Cheap, they were not lol! I paid more than I've ever paid before for a pack of paper blooms! Anyway, I'm not sure what I've made this card for hence no sentiment. It's either going to be for my Dad's birthday or Father's Day. I guess it depends on whether Ellie buys me the other Golden Oldies stamp that I need, which date I send it on.

I've used the same sketch from Ila but not used the flower. I'm also entering this card in to the competition to win some fab blog candy at Michelle's blogspot, she asks that we make a card for a guy, especially with Father's Day approaching.

Recipe
Cardstock - The Works, card blank
Ribbon - stash
Bling - stash
Eyelets - Poppicrafts
Paper - Shabby Princess, Splendid
Stamp - Golden Oldies, Norm - Art Impressions
Coloured with Twinkling H2O's and Sakura Stardust pens
