JAC's JOURNEY: OMG...NKOTBSB

It's a week late, but I had to post about one of the most amazing nights ever!! First, let me say that I am the worst girlfriend ever! The night of my birthday, I was shocked when I realized that the New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys concert was mere days away...and I didn't have tickets! My boyfriend knew I wanted to go really bad. He knew they were going to be here right after my birthday. And he always comes through for concerts. So, why not this one? The one concert that I wanted to go to more than anything?!?!

These were all the thoughts going through my head. And my mom and I, both, vocalized them to Chris (after a few drinks). ;) I begged him that night to please get ANY tickets for the concert. I didn't care where we sat, as long as I was there! He laughed and said I didn't need to go to the concert & he would not be buying tickets. :( My mom then joked that she would win tickets the next morning for me on the radio station. (My mom is notorious for winning stuff!)

Well, the next morning rolls around and I get a call from my mom while getting ready for work. She had WON tickets to the NKOTBSB concert!! WHOOO HOOO!! Chris and I were both in shock (more so, Chris). And I was ecstatic!! My first concert ever was to see the New Kids, and I saw Backstreet Boys while in high school!! Now, I was going to get two for the price of one! :)

So, I get to work and tell my coworkers about my mom winning tickets, and no later than one hour after...the receptionsist tells me I have a FedEx package and that there are tickets in it! As soon as she said that, I just knew! Chris - my wonderful, amazing, loving boyfriend - had in fact gotten me tickets! BTW...I felt like crap at this point for giving him such a hard time the night before. In my defense though, I was just kidding with him...kinda. ;)

The BEST part was that the tickets Chris bought me were PRIMO seats! Row 4 from the main stage, and seats 1 & 2 (closest to the "t" portion of the stage)! I was literally on cloud 9 all night!! The show was amazing!!!

Chris had this CD waiting for me when we were leaving to the concert!
