My Friend

I made this card using the Stamping 411 Sketch#221 here.
The base is Cherry Cobbler card stock and I added some Paisley Petals DSP. I matted some Very Vanilla with Old Olive. I used my Baha Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Old Olive Stampin' Write markers to color in the stamp from My Friend. I used another stamp from that set and stamped it in Cajun Craze and then punched it out with the 1 1/4 inch Circle punch. I punched the Old Olive piece with the 1 3/8 inch Circle punch and the Cherry Cobbler piece with the 1 3/4 inch Scallop Circle punch. I popped those up with Stampin' dimensionals. I used the Boho Blossoms punch for the Cajun Craze and Baha Breeze flowers and added an Old Olive brad to the center. Finally, I stamped my friend in Cherry Cobbler.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: My Friend
Papers: Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Baha Breeze, Old Olive and Paisley Petals DSP
Inks: Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Baha Breeze, Old Olive Stampin Write Markers and Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze Stampin pads

Another CAS Card but with new In-Colors

Since my other Clean & Simple card was so quick, I used this week's FTL#148 here at Clean and Simple Stamping to make another card. This one focuses on the new In-Colors, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Pool Party.
The base is Pool Party card stock. I punched two Island Indigo circles with the 1 3/4 inch Circle punch. I ran them thru the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Textured Impression Embossing folder. I punched a Calypso Coral piece with the 2 1/2 inch Circle punch. I punched some Berry Blossoms DSP with the 1 3/4 inch Scallop Circle punch and popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals. I colored My Friend from the My Friend stamp set with my Calypso Coral and Island Indigo Stampin' Write Markers and stamped it on some Whisper White. I used the Boho Blossoms punch on some Pool Party and Calypso Coral card stock to create the little flowers.. A Calypso Coral Designer Printed Brad was used for the flower center. Finally, some 3/8 inch Island Indigo Ruffled ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: My Friend
Papers: Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Berry Blossoms DSP
Inks: Calypso Coral and Island Indigo Stampin' Write markers
Accessories: Boho Blossoms punch, 1 3/4 inch and 2 1/2 inch Circle punches, 1 3/4 inch Scallop Circle punch, Stampin' dimensionals, Houndstooth embossing folder, 3/8 inch Island Indigo ruffled ribbon, Designer Printed Brads

Another Sneak Peek for Two Challenges

I made this card using the new set, My Friend for two challenges. First, the Create with Connie and Mary Color Challenge#154 here. The colors to use are Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and River Rock.  And second, for the PPA#97-What's Your Signature Style-here.
I'm not exactly sure what my style is but I tend to gravitate towards bright and bold looks or crisp and clean?!? My favorite color collection is definitely the Brights Collection!
I started with a base of Melon Mambo card stock and added some Elegant Eggplant. I ran some River Rock and Whisper White thru the Big Shot with the Top Note die and trimmed down the White piece. I colored in the big flowers stamp from My Friend with my Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and River Rock Stampin' Write markers. It's hard to see from this picture but I stamped the circle image from My Friend in Elegant Eggplant on the Eggplant card stock. Then I stamped "my friend" in Eggplant on River Rock and popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals. I ran a strip of River Rock thru the Scallop Edge Border punch, Finally, some 3/ 8 inch Whisper White taffeta ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: My Friend
Papers: Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo, River Rock, Patterns DSP Brights Stack
Inks: Elegant Eggplant Classic Pad and Stampin' Write Marker, Melon Mambo and River Rock Stampin' Write markers
Accessories: Top Note Die, Scallop Edge Border punch, Stampin' dimensionals, 3/8 inch Whisper White taffeta ribbon

I stamped " my friend" from the stamp set My Friend in Wisteria Wonder. Finally, some 1/8 inch Early Espresso taffeta finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
