Baby Card for a Sketch & Inspiration Challenge
I made this baby card with the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge#327 here, and the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge#47 here.
I was drawn to the lion and the stripes in the plate so I went from there.
I started with Pumpkin Pie card stock and added some DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights Stack. I used scraps of Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Soft Suede and Bashful Blue for the stripes. I colored the lion from Fox and Friends with my Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers and added a mouth with the Soft Suede Stampin' Write marker. I colored one of the party hats from Party Hearty with my Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin' Write markers, cut it out and popped it up with a Stampin' dimensional. I stamped hello baby from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Pumpkin Pie, punched it out with the 1 3/8 inch by 5/8 inch Large Oval punch and layered it onto a Pumpkin Pie piece punched with the 1 3/4 inch by 7/8 inch Large Oval punch. I popped the ovals up with Stampin' dimensionals too. I added a Bashful Blue(retired), Daffodil Delight and Old Olive brad. Finally, some 5/8 inch Old Olive grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fox and Friends, Party Hearty, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Patterns DSP Brights Stack

Sale-a-bration Sneek Peek
I needed to make a baby card and thought of the Sale-a-bration Ice Cream Parlor DSP. The DSP also comes with a coordinating Accents Pack-it's great! Especially since we don't know if it's a boy or a girl, I think this paper works great for this card! I also used this week's FTL layout at Clean and Simple Stamping here.
The card stock base is Daffodil Delight and I added some Old Olive before adding the striped DSP from Ice Cream Parlor. The dotted and scallop print is also from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP. I stamped the turtle from Fox and Friends in Old Olive and punched it out with the 1 3/8 inch Circle punch. I used my Circles #2 Bigz die to cut out the Old Olive circle behind the Whisper White one. Those were then popped up with Stampin dimensionals. Welcome baby from Short and Sweet was stamped in Old Olive then punched out with the Word Window punch. A piece of Peach Parfait card stock was run thru the Scallop Edge border punch and I added some dots with my White gel pen. Finally, I stamped the diaper pin from Short and Sweet in Peach Parfait, punched it out with the 1/2 inch Circle punch and popped it up with a Stampin dimensional.

I made it for the FTL#114 here.
The base is So Saffron card stock and then I stamped on Whisper White, punching the corners with the Ticket Corner punch. I used the Fox and Friend set and Trendy Trees for the sentiment. My Color Coach gave me the color combo of Soft Suede, So Saffron and Cherry Cobbler and I added Old Olive myself. It's that simple and that fast!

Two Challenges in One Card
I LOVE this week's sketch at MojoMonday here.
And I thought I'd pair it with the Color Combination over at Splitcoast here. It calls for Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.
I began with a base of Pacific Point and added the striped Pacific Point paper from the Patterns DSP Brights stack. I stamped the animals from Fox and Friends in those three colors, punched them out with the Large 1 1/4 inch square punch and layered them onto coordinating card stock punched with the XL 1 3/8 inch square punch. I used Stampin write markers to color in the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes, punched it with the Word Window punch and layered on a piece of Pacific Point punched with the Modern Label punch. There's a strip of 5/8 inch Old Olive grosgrain with an Old Olive Designer button threaded with a sliver of Pacific Point card stock. Finally, three Old Olive brads finish it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Fox and Friends and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Patterns DSP Brights stack

Double Challenge Baby Card
I made this cute baby card for two challenges: MOJO#148 here and Stamping 411 Color Inspiration #133 here. The colors are Baha Breeze, Crumb Cake and Not Quite Navy.
Crumb Cake card stock is the base of this card with some Crumb Cake DSP from the Travel Journal DSP layered onto that. I used my Coluzzle to cut the big circles, one in Not Quite Navy and one in Baha Breeze. I ran the Baha Breeze one thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka-dot textured impressions folder. I stamped the monkey (from Fox and Friends) in Baha Breeze and the whale in Not Quite Navy. I then punched both of those out with the 1 1/4 inch square punch and layered them onto coordinating card stock punched with the 1 3/8 inch square punch. The center sentiment is from Occasional Quotes and was colored with Crumb Cake and Not Quite Navy Stampin write markers, stamped on Whisper White and punched out with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch. The Sizzix Circles #2 die was used for the Crumb Cake circle under the sentiment. The two patterned Crumb Cake squares from the Travel Journal DSP were also punched with the 1 1/4 inch square punch. Finally, "congratulations" from Occasional Quotes was stamped in Not Quite Navy.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Occasional Quotes, Fox and Friends
Papers: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Baha Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Travel Journal DSP
