| Hearts Wish, Jean Hart Midnight souls, Jean Hart All the Christmas decoration have been put away with care for next year. All the reflections on last year were looked at and a list made for the coming year. Yet, something feels undone. Something feels just a bit empty, even though I have great plans for the coming year. I have wonderful plans for new paintings. I just feel a little sad today. Blue Monday really isn't about being sad. It's a display of blue things, paintings and now I guess feelings. I have set my timer to only write for 30min today....since the only way I know how to get out of a blue mood is by moving. I will have to get to my feet soon. Picasso had a blue mood period. "The Blue Period of Picasso is the period between 1900 and 1904, when he painted essentially monochromatic paintings in shades of blue and blue-green, only occasionally warmed by other colors. " Please enjoy his website to learn more. http://www.pablopicasso.org/blue-period.jsp |
Amazing things happen when like minded people get together, we may began as strangers but in time end as friends. You learn by going where you have to go, if your lucky you meet good people along the way.If you would like to know more about me and see my artwork I invite you to my artwork website http//www.jeanhartartwork.com If you would like to contact me e-mail at jhartart@yahoo.com

Love Inspires
Love Inspires
Acrylic
11" x 14"
Living a life of friendliness and love will help to inspire you to live a life of compassion, hope and joy.
Life is so much more meaningful when we share it with someone else. Often we sit and wait for what will come ahead only to finally get it!! Your future lies deep within yourself. It's way down deep where you keep your dreams. The true life is what happens when you decide its time to act upon those dreams and know, really understand that everything is up to you to make the future happen. And just like Abraham Lincoln said, "The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time." So just take it one step at a time.
Be Inspired
~Jean

What's on my Easel
What's on my easel?????
| Tea with Rabbit Since 2011 is the year of the Chinese Metal Rabbit, and I love Rabbits for lots of reasons. They represent, fertility, abundance, new beginnings. Rabbits have long been a subject for me to paint and embrace. I expect they will be lots of paintings this year with rabbits in them. I am learning many lessons this year and top on the list is Stillness, Meditation, Being Calm...the list goes on and on. Often my paintings represent my own life and the lessons I myself are going through. I welcome you on my journey. Here is a poem to meditate on. Totally Crazy The deep blue sea spoke to me; it was holding back a mystery. A dolphin took me by the hand' it wanted me to understand that in this life there's more to behold than bags of money and pots of gold. Believe in yourself and you will see how happy and free you were meant to be. By Mike Dooley For me right now that says a lot. What happens when you start to believe in yourself? What happens when you start to put yourself out in the world? What happens when you do want you want and follow your dreams? I'm thinking what happens is that you become a better you. But this time around once you believe in yourself your also better for family, friends, and the world. Just something to think about. Be inspired, ~Jean http://www.jeanhartartwork.com/ |

Haiku Chain
Haiku Chain
5,7,5 syllables
Use the last line as your first line in your haiku.
It's all up to you,
I have met a new friend here,
a very blue friend.
A very blue friend,
who flew in to say hello,
Come travel with me.
