I really look forward to my swaps with my dear and talented friend Margaret

She always spoils me.

When her package arrives....

...... it always feels like I have another birthday !!

Margaret packs up everything so beautifully and enticing..

making the reveal of our swaps soooo exciting!

We decided to have a Halloween/Autumn trade

So I was inspired by these little beauties...

It was mainly the colours that inspired me...

Now, I was intending on creating a scrappy layout...

...but this little grey vintage style babies dress

(another 20p boot sale (flea market) bargain !)

...was just begging to be altered in an array of greys, blues and creams !!

So, from this....

I've just come back from a few days away, and realised I've not blogged my Let's Get Shabby Challenge yet !

is all about

Toile and Ticking

I knew I had some small fabric scraps of toile and ticking in my craft stash

….but just wasn’t too sure to make with them

Then after a visit to a boot sale (flea market) recently I bought a little old babies dress for 20p

So, I decided to have a go at altering it with….

Toile and ticking fabric, lace, old buttons, crochet doilies and flowers, key, pins, TH frozen charlotte doll, tag and a few other shabby embellies….

and here is the result...
