and
GUESS WHAT?....
.
.
.
I WON!!
Wahooooooo :)
My lovely prizes arrived this week...

Lots of lovely rubber stamps
(which I've already had a play with  :) )

...they have their 8th Anniversary 25 % off sale on at the moment,
so well worth a little peek ;)

-oOo-

..and do you remember these goodies that I sent to my pal Linda,
for our '5 item swap'
Well, I was blown away with what she created from them...
How gorgeous is this little altered canvas..
...and this is what I created for her
with the same 'ingredients'
I just love seeing how different our swaps are..and these are the fab items,
that she has sent for our next little swap...
Mmmm, don't think I've altered a CD before
so this should be interesting LOL !

-oOo-
Oh,  you won't remember these!
On Monday it was my birthday
..and my youngest son Callum
made me some cakes :)
These were my faves!!
...the cake mixture was baked inside the ice cream cone
...then butter cream icing on the top
and finished with a little flake and some sprinkles to finish it all off
DELISH  !
..and well worth the icing sugar and flour bomb-site that he left my kitchen in LOL !! ;) - I should of taken some pics of that !!
-oOo-
I had a fantastic birthday
....got totally spoilt !!
...new craft goodies, which I can't wait to get my hands on and play with !!
I also received some gorgeous handmade cards  :)
-oOo-
Hubby took me on a 'West end' trip
for a meal
a little shopping
and to see 'Ghost' at the Piccadilly Theatre,
(I loved the film version with Patrick Swayzee)

Now it's not his cup of tea,
but after dropping TONS of hints !
He booked some tickets for my birthday treat :)

We totally enjoyed it,
...even hubby was amazed,
especially with the illusions !
Richard Fleeshman (Who used to be in Corrie) played Sam
and Caissie Levy was Molly
...but I think Sharon D Clarke stealed the show playing Oda Mae Brown (Whoopi Goldbergs part in the film)

full of ...
...laughs,
...gasping at the illusions and wondering how it was done ?
... and sniffing back the tears moments.

Highly recommended  !!

Well thats all for today...
Thanks for Looking !

Remember these.....(5 Items swap #2)

These are the goodies that my lovely friend Linda
sent to me to play with...
...an Altoid tin, beaded trim, a large piece of netting, silky cream ribbon and roses...
-oOo-
We both have the same 5 foundation items
(the roses count has 1 item)
(we were also allowed to add anything from our own stash, but the main 5 items had to be used)
-oOo-
and this is what Linda did with her Challenge....

How totally gorgeous is this  !!
..and the inside is equally has stunning !

I adore the cute little quilt
and all the gorgeous embellies !!
(Oh, I do LOVE a sewing theme !!)
And we mustn't forget the back...

Thank you so much for everything Linda

you did a fabulous job with the tin...
and all of the other wonderful goodies that you sent to me..
-oOo-
Now, I guess you are wondering I did with the tin?
as soon as I saw the netting I thought of....
 Ballerina's Tutus
This is what I made for Linda....

The outside I have decorated with...
papers, Tim  holtz tape, netting, Image (Landof Enchantment) ribbon roses, painted key, faux pearls, ticket, button and lace - distressed with inks and paints.

I pleated the cream ribbon to make a little curtain valance
the roses and the beaded trim (dissected !) were used to embellish inside the tin.
added some more faux pearls, ballerina images ( also from Landof Enchantment)  a plaster frame
...and stuck in a little inspirational quote
..and I've added the netting to make the tutus on both outside and inside the tin.

I really enjoy these little swaps with my friend Linda
..and found it amazing how we have used the same items in totally different ways!
Thanks again linda for a fabby trade :)
-oOo-
Here are my 5 new items
( the buttons count as 1 item - Just incase you thought I couldn't count LOL !!)
for Linda for our next swap
-mini canvas, lace, buttons, tag and some vintage music paper.
-oOo-
Thanks for Looking!
