it's all about creating a Shabby Project with

a repeated geometrical shape...

....So here is my DT take on this challenge..

I decided to scrap a page of one of my boys...

 I started with some (webster pages) 12x12 paper

 Then I stencilled with some paint (for my repeated geometrical shaped pattern) using a hexagon patterned mask.

to give me this background for my layout.

-oOo-

Then embellished with...

 assorted lace, charms, flowers, wooden embellies, book paper...

 ...buttons, doilies, metal gate embellie, butterfly...

Oh and a photo of my cutie (when he was about 7 years old...taken 11 years ago!!...so he's a little bigger now LOL!!) and his little pal!

....owl charm, bird stamped tag, more wooden embellies (clock and butterfly).

Purple - Tag Tuesday

is...

PURPLE

...now...I'm not usually a purple lover?!

 Well out of my colour comfort zone!!

..So I even surprised myself this week, by making not one ...but two tags !!..

TAG 1

... stitched some assorted purple / lilac buttons and beads onto a crochet heart, then added them to a canvas tag. 

TAG 2

 Chipboard tag, covered in cream lace with dragon flies, lilac lace, pink cheesecloth, selection of lilac/purple buttons, mini doily, ribbon and...

Spring Flowers - Tag Tuesday

is...

Spring flowers

Still with Spring cleaning in mind after last weeks challenge!!...I began sorting through my crafty stash...didn't get very far before I become slightly distracted and stumbled across some paper with daffs on (that I had forgotten all about!).., and thought this would be perfect for this weeks challenge...

....along with a bingo card for the base, string, bird card,button, music sheet, mini tag, vellum butterfly, fence embellie , distress inks, alpha stamps and gorguss girl image.

and this is what appeared after a little play...

Well my craft room is still a mess! So back to the spring cleaning.....Mmmmm wondering how long it takes me before I get sidetracked today LOL!!

Wash day Blues - Tag Tuesday

"Spring Cleaning"

I was inspired by one of Carolyn's prompts...

"washing blowing on the line"

It made me think about .....

the simple satisfying pleasure

of the fresh smell of clean sheets

 that have been air dried

on a lovely sunny breezy spring day :)

I knew I had the image that I wanted to use on my tag ...

I just adore the (above) vintage image of the little girl hanging out her washing (from Land of |Enchantment), so I printed it on to some fabric....

...and added it to a clothing price tag from one of my boys T-Shirts...

...along with some lace, buttons, washing care label, mini peg embellies, Tim Holtz laundry pin and ticket...

...then I made a little lacy vest and bloomers set to hang on the washing line! ...

Enjoy the Spring Cleaning !!!!

Happy Easter - Tag Tuesday

is...

Easter....

I rummaged through my lace box and came across this little beauty...

....So I decided to use this for the base of my tag.

I digtally altered some free clip art images, then printed them onto some printable fabric...

...added lace, vintage and wooden buttons, gingham, coin envelope, safety pin, flower charm and a little stitching...

...and the netted mesh ribbon is recycled from some recent garden furniture packaging.
