France ~ September 2017

Our fabulous group. Picture in Nice, France
I spent two fabulous weeks in France in September 2017. It was my reunion trip with The Blue Walk, and all 14 of the students were returning friends who'd traveled with me before.

We started Nice, France.
Nice is a wonderful city. And the light....
And the men in Nice wear the most colorful pants!

We visited the Matisse museum too.

Yes, I know it's the middle of summer (in my hemisphere) and maybe you haven't even gone on vacation yet. But hey, it's never to early to plan or dream, is it? I'm doing it again in June, 2014.
Here are some photos from my wonderful sketching and watercolor trip along the French Riviera last year.

France ~ from my sketchbook by Jane LaFazio
Since I'm in San Miguel de Allende right now teaching a mixed media art retreat with Tesoro del Corazon, I thought I'd better finish and post my sketchbook pages from my September trip to France. Since I was teaching, I didn't have time to work very much in my own sketchbook, but here they are.
