Magnolia-licious DT - "W"ednesday Post

Good morning!  It is time for me to share another "W"ednesday post on the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog today.  As you can see, I have created a Halloween card using Wee Stamps' Hazel the Witch.
I've painted Hazel with Distress Inks and added some details with white and silver gel pens.
The spider webs were all cut with a Doohickey die from the Vol 6 kit and the spider charm is from my stash.  The pink tulle trim is from The Ribbon Girl.
I have stamped the sentiment using individual alphabet stamps from my stash.
The gorgeous purple flower was a gift from a friend and the black flower is from The Ribbon Girl.
The book of spells was created with another Doohickey from the Vol 6 kit and the bat charm is also from my stash.
I cut up some papers that had fine print on them to create book pages inside.
I hope you like it!  Pop over to the Magnolia-licious Challenge blog to see the rest of the team's gorgeous "W"ednesday creations, and don't forget to check out the Magnolia-licious store for the new Magnolia Christmas collection and a new stamp line!  Thanks for looking! x

Magnolia-licious DT - 'W'ednesday Post

Good morning!  It is my turn to share a 'W'ednesday creation at Magnolia-licious today.  We don't give Halloween cards here but I do love this gorgeous witch from the Wee Stamps selection at Magnolia-licioius, so I decided to make a fun book for my little girl.
I've painted with Distress Ink pads and created a smoky, bubbly background suitable for a potion mixing witch with Distress Inks too.  I've added touches of silver pen to areas of her costume too.
The 'cobwebs' were cut with a Prima doily die and the lettering was created with Papermania alphabet stamps.  I punched holes in the top of the notebook and threaded natural twine through them to make an old, rough looking spiral bind.
I used the cat Doohickey from the Paris Nights Doohickey set and added gems for it's eyes.
I 'borrowed' the little bottle of fairy dust from my daughter while she was asleep lol, but when she saw the creation and I said she could take it off she loved it so much that she has kept the bottle on it.
I gave the notebook some aged tissue paper pages by crinkling tissue paper and using Vintage Photo Distress Ink to age it.
My daughter couldn't wait to write her first spell inside - using a quill and ink of course!
I hope you like it and thanks for looking.  Pop over to the blog to see some more 'W'ednesday creations from my teamies.  x

Magnolia-licious DT - "W"ednesday Post

Good morning!  It is my turn to create a project for our "W"ednesday posts at Magnolia-licious.  I thought I'd make and easel card for a change as it has been a very long time since I made one!
I've coloured Sympathy Bugs from Wee Stamps with Prismacolor Pencils on kraft cardstock.  I've also added some white dots with a gel pen.
I've used the Magnolia Lace Peony dies for the flowers and the roses are from The Ribbon Girl.
I've used the new Tim Holtz Butterflies die to create all the butterflies and the Doily on the edge die around the image.
I hope you like it.  Pop over to the blog to see some more "W"ednesday creations from my friends.  Thanks for looking! x

Magnolia-licious DT - "W"ednesday Project

It's my turn to create for our "W"ednesday slot over at Magnolia-licious.  I've used a beautiful stamp from Wee Stamps called Hopeful.
I've coloured the image with copics and inked around the edges of her with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.
The tickets were stamped with a Tim Holtz stamp in Walnut Stain and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks.  The flowers, rose trim and lace are from The Ribbon Girl.
I've added butterflies to the sentiment using a Martha Stewart punch.
The postcard stamp is also a Tim Holtz stamp and the punched flowers were punched with the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch.
I hope you like it and have time to pop over to the Magnolia-licious blog to see the other "W"ednesday projects from my friends.  Thanks for looking! x

Good morning!  It is my turn to share a creation for our Magnolia-licious "W"ednesday post today.  I have used a mixture of papers from my stash to create this card which really makes me think of spring!
I have coloured the gorgeous Amy from the Wee Stamps collection  using copics and I've added a few dots of white gel pen here and there.
The lilac rose and lime tulip are from my stash and the sentiment is from Whiff of Joy stamped with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.  The small pink blossoms are from The Ribbon Girl.
I have used Tim Holtz Butterflight On the Edge die for the spotty butterfly border and also some punched butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch.

Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps - "W"ednesday

Woohoo!  It's time for another "W"ednesday at the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps blog and this week it is my turn to make a creation.
I've used the super cute Shelley #146 from Wee Stamps for this birthday card for a friend's little girl.  I've used the no lines technique again and coloured her with copics.  I've added lots of stickles, liquid pearls and also some Frantage.
I used an EK Success punch to create the swirls around the image and the lettering was cut from some Pion Design Papers.
I used the cloud doohickey for the sentiment which I've also edged with Frantage.  The number 8 was cut with a Tim Holtz die.  The seam binding on the tag is from The Ribbon Girl.
The blossom flower, rolled rose, lace and cheesecloth are also from The Ribbon Girl and the hydrangea is from Prima.
The beautiful glittered rose and the sweet rose bud are also from The Ribbon Girl and the shells are from my stash.
I hope you like it!  Pop over to the blog to see some more "W"ednesday creations.  Thanks for looking! x

Magnolia-Licious DT - Wee Wednesday

Good morning!  Half way through another week - it will be the summer holidays in not time :)!  Today is my turn to share a creation for our Wee Wednesday post on the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps Challenge blog.
I've used the cute Sympathy Bugs and coloured with copics.  I've added some Shabby Green Frantage around the image and here and there on the card - I love how this stuff instantly makes any card shabby!
The Kort & Godt white flower is from The Ribbon Girl and the rest of the flowers are from my stash.  I cut the leaves with the Rose Leaf Doohickey die #18.  The gorgeous lace behind the Tim Holtz Butterflight border is also from The Ribbon Girl.
The sentiment is from Stempelglede and the heart button and button twine are from the Ribbon Girl too (I've added Frantage to the button).
I hope you like it.  Pop over to the Magnolia-licious blog to see more gorgeous Wee creations from my teamies.  Thanks for looking! x
