HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY POLKADOODLES (the sequel)!

Good morning everybody!  How’s your Sunday going?

I am back again with part 2 of my ‘scratched up’ image posts to celebrate POLKADOODLES 7^th birthday!

 As this anniversary is normally called the "7 year itch", the Polka Doodles team have embraced the prickly feeling by scratching that itch and mixing/scratching up some new images ... get the pun? 

The birthday celebrations will be running for 2 weeks and each day someone from the Polka Doodles team will be sharing their “mixed/scratched up” image. 

To add an extra layer of itchy fun, everyone has also been colouring up the new “scratched/mixed up” images, (still not knowing who designed them) and they will be sharing via their blogs and on FaceBook.

We really have scratched things up ... new merged images, no one knows who created what and no one knows when they’ll be sharing them ...!

My project features the image that I created using the gorgeous CINDERS, the coach from WORK AND PLAY 9 - LOVE AND KISSES and a shoe from DOLLIE DAYDREAM GIRL TALK all manipulated in Craft Artist.

The colouring was influenced by the fab papers from the SERENITY FAIRY WISHES collection.

I went with a sort of Cinderella vibe although I took artistic license with the ‘glass’ slipper, but at least it matches her dress!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Wow it’s seems like an age since I've been here and it is very nice to be back! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!  I don't know about you but my crafty enthusiasm and mojo took a serious knock over the festive period but hopefully I can get back into the swing of things now. Santa was very kind to me though, bless him, and brought me LOADS of crafty goodies so I really have no excuse!!

OK I'll stop the waffle as it is Choosday we have our first challenge of the year over at Digi Choosday and our theme this week is Thanks!  As usual there is a fab prize up for grabs so check out the blog for details.

For my ‘Thank You’ card I decided to use the gorgeous Dollie Daydream – Ready for Rain (love her fabulous hair, pity I couldn't do it justice) and teamed her with the stunning papers and flower elements from the Winston Deluxe Full Collection.

I digitally paper pieced the umbrella (check me!!) and made an easel card as they are still my all-time favourite card fold!  Bit difficult to photograph though!

Apologies for the slightly dodgy colouring! I haven't had a pen or pencil in my hand for over 3 weeks!! Shocking!
