The Pencil Case - T for Two Colours!

Hello! Happy Saturday everyone!

So we have a new challenge starting today on THE PENCIL CASE blog and the theme is T for Two. So use 2 colours in your design. And don't forget you can use any medium that you wish to join in.

This time the DT were challenged to use Tertiary Colours… you know you have primary, then secondary then tertiary colours on the colour wheel… like this…

So not to go for half measures I decided to use ALL of the tertiary colours and really enjoyed creating and colouring my CAS card.

As you know I am blessed to be part of the Polkadoodles team and we have all been having a lot of fun merging digi images in celebration of THE STORE’S 7^th birthday so I thought I would continue with that theme by using some of the digis on the fabulous new MAGIC GARDEN CD-ROM .

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY POLKADOODLES!!

Hi all! Hope you are well!

So I’m usually here with my  DIGI CHOOSDAY post (that will be posted a little later) but right now I am here with something a little different…….

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY POLKA DOODLES!!

YAY!!!

As this anniversary is normally called the "7 year itch", the Polka Doodles team have embraced the prickly feeling by scratching that itch and mixing/scratching up some new images ... get the pun? Corny we know but the team have had great fun. So to embrace the “itchy scratch” the Polka Doodles team have thrown caution to the wind and “scratched up” a different kind of birthday celebration.

The birthday celebrations will be running for 2 weeks and each day someone from the Polka Doodles team will be sharing their “mixed/scratched up” image. It’s been all hush hush and secret squirrel too as no one knows who has been busy creating what and when they will be revealing their image... so the Polka Doodles team get to join in the fun too.

To add an extra layer of itchy fun, everyone has also been colouring up the new “scratched/mixed up” images, (still not knowing who designed them) and they will be sharing via their blogs and on FaceBook.

We really have scratched things up ... new merged images, no one knows who created what and no one knows when they’ll be sharing them ...!

So here is my effort using a fabulous merged image by one of my uber talented teamies!  They have used the gorgeous SERENITY PRINCESS and the door and mushroom embellies from the MAGIC GARDEN CD-ROM. Very clever and Nikky has been putting some of these 'scratched up' images in THE SHOP at a special price so pop over and take a look! Oooooh!

I have made one of my diorama/shadow box/theatre card thingy (not its real name) and some of the gorgeous embellies and papers from the MAGIC GARDEN CD-ROM.
