Dads Retreat!!
I am going to be chasing my tail again tomorrow so thought I would get this posted early. I am going to enter this card for the Just Cute Bears Challenge where there is a great sketch to be followed by Bev.
I cannot believe I have not had the time to ink up and colour this great Lili of the Valley Busy Bears image, wouldn’t he be great for Fathers Day, which is just around the corner. I could kick myself I found these papers in my stash and didn’t keep a note of where I got them from or who they are by!!! but they are perfect for make cards. I have used copics to colour the image, the other items used on the card are Martha Stewart Border Ounch, Tim Holtzs Ticket and Pin and Raffia from the local pound shop. Don’t forget its time for the New Lili of the Valley Challenge this Thursday, if you are a Lili of the Valley lover you will not want to miss this challenge we have sneak peeks of the new releases from the DT and also some extra special Candy so make a note to join us on Thursday.

Sundays Child x 2
I thought I would have a little me time again today and use some of my stamps that have never seen ink, I think I may have to go and have therapy for this stamp addiction I have, along with my backing paper addiction and my many other craft related addictions :).
I did manage to get a bit of blogging done today but then the Sun came out and the gardening called, it was nice though because I managed to get Mum out in the garden with me and I am sure it did her good, hopefully I should get a whole nights sleep as she even asked to go to bed. Tomorrow I am off to a little Craft Fair in Biggin Hill with my good friend Lin, but I am hoping not to spend much maybe a couple of Nesties!!!!!!!
Anyway down to todays cards, as you can see I am still in love with these fabulous papers from Bearly Mine Designs, Donna was a naughty girl and e-mailed me that she had two more downloads on there well need not tell you what happened. I have used Distress Inks to colour this gorgeous Belles ‘n Whistles Cupcake image here are the colours used.
Flesh – Tattered Rose, Antique Linen, Trousers a mix of Shabby Shutters and Bundled sage, Hat and Apron – Antique Linen Blouse Flowers and Cupcake – Victorian Velvet, Hat Antique Linen. Re-inkers from Crafters Companion.
Martha Stewart Punches were used for the Butterflies and Border, and the swirls are a stamp from Stempleglede which are now available in the UK from Quixotic Paperie Yippeee!! of course the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am entering this card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge this week, thanks for the lovely sketch.

Lots of Glamour Dust added on this one, don’t you just love the colour of that large rose from Wild Orchid Crafts it matches the paper perfectly.

Frantic Friday
JUST MAGNOLIA CHALLENGE
This week we are sponsored by the lovely Tracy of Dies to die for.
Our challenge this week is a sketch provided by Jane. You can rotate and or flip the sketch, as long as we can still see the basic sketch on your creation. Don’t forget that you can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice as long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prize. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please.
The winner will be chosen by Random Generator next week so to be in the running all you need to do is ensure you have at least one Magnolia image on your card and link your card (not your blog) in Mr Linky and have your card posted by 8pm UK time next Thursday 27th May.
This is one of those cards that I am really really unhappy with, but I just have not got time to do another one, I don’t know what it is about this card UI dislike so much!! but it certainly doesn't do justice to Janes lovely sketch.
I have used magnolia papers and distress inks, I think it must be the colours I don’t like, you know me a real pastel girl, and I also creased the waterproof paper when I was try to shape Tilda. Wild Orchid Crafts flowers have been used as usual, and I cannot get enough of the Martha Stewart Star Punch, I lurve it.
WAGS N WHISKERS CHALLENGE
It is my turn to host the challenge this week so I have chosen the theme "Just Good Friends". You can either make a card using one our images with two characters, or you can just make a card for a friend. I am leaving the challenge open to interpretation. Just remember that you must use a Wags 'n Whiskers stamps.
Distress Inks have been used again for this one and also the obligatory Wild Orchid Crafts roses. The papers are from my scarp drawer and the Martha Stewart half daisy punch has been used for the borders. I think this is my favourite of the new Wags N Whiskers release and that Ice cream looks so scrummy and just what I need up here in the eves where I am absolutely melting.

A Summers Morning
Sorry not many words on here today, I should of done this post when I got up this morning instead of which I have left it until the last minute (in fact nearly forgot it) .
Its time for Whiff of Joy Challenge and this week we have a colour choice for you YELLOW BROWN AND ONE OTHER COLOUR. You can imagine my heart dropped when I saw Yellow, but in the end I really enjoyed making this card, perhaps because it was a challenge.
This is a Whiff of Joy stamp from the Medieval collection released last year, she just sums dup a summer morning perfectly. I have used Distress Inks, nesties ovals, Cuttlebug Embossing folder, Martha Stewart Border Punch, Sizzix Corner Die and Liquid Pearls on here. Hope you like.
Should be home later tonight so hope I have a card for you tomorrow.

Spring Time
Our lovely sweet and generous teamie Nikki is our sponsor for this weeks A Spoonfull of Sugar she has offered 2 lovely stamps from the latest Spring Time collection from her company Wags-n-Whiskers .
It is my week to choose the theme and as Nikki had so generously given every DT member a stamp from the new release what better theme than SPRING.
I have used the image called Easter Blessing for my card and have used Distressed Inks to colour it, the papers are Basic Grey. I said a few weeks ago that I had seen the Martha Stewart Bunny Border punch and had resisted buying it, but I gave in and just had to order it from Dies to Die For, I am so pleased I did :).
The fabulous Daffodils, roses and spray are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I am in love with these Daffodils what fabulous spring embellishments they make.
Hope you have a good day, don’t forget to enter into my Birthday Candy the link to the post is on my side bar.
