Last Sneak Peek From Lili of the Valley Cars Plus a Returning Friend

2 cards rather late in the day,  I forgot to post the last of the Vintage Car images from Lili of the Valley May release this one is called "Vintage Sports".  this is just the sort of car I would like to be taken about in.

Very CAS card for me but the image speaks for itself, I used 2 downloaded maps for this one, the top map is of my favourite part of the country Devon.  The background paper came from my stash and is years old, I think it was a Basic Grey sheet.  I have also used 2 sentiments from Lili of the Valley - Sentiment Set 101 - Teenage Boy Sentiments.

Luckly I kept a note of the Copic colours I used in my colouring journal so here we go:

Greys: C5, C3, C2, C1, C00
Blues: B41, B000, B0000
Reds: R05
Yellows: Y33, Y08, Y02
Browns: E15, E41
Greens: G94, YG63, G21, G94, YG23, YG21

Together with the New Cars, Pub, Shed and Caravan stamps Lili of the Valley  will also be bringing back 3 old favourite Boy Images.  This is the first of the Returning Friends "On My Bike"

Thought I would make an easel card for a change, the papers are from Nitwits Collection - Up Up and Away, another CAS card I am getting quite good at trying to do less is more. The Happy Birthday Sentiment is another LOTV  Stamp fom Sheet 8 - Happy Circular Sentiments. The Buttons were from Mums old Button Box, I am going to have to make one of my own now.

The Copics used for this image are:

Blues: B28, B24, B41
Browns: E15, E97, E50
Greys - GTyres N3, Nw2, N0, Shoes/Bike C7, C3, C1, C00
Hair: E74, E43, E41
Flesh: E21, E00, E000

Thats it for today, still waiting for the forecast snow, but up until now it has been a beautiful sunny but chilly day.

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek 5

Before I start with todays cards I would like to tell you about some exciting news I had this weekend, Mary and Andrea aka The Ribbon Girls asked me to join their design team of course I accepted, who wouldn't, the offer came as a complete surprise especially as I have lost a lot of confidence over the past couple of years, so a big thank you to Mary & Andrea.  I cannot wait to get started and to be working with such a talented Design Team.

This is sneak peek no 5 of the soon to be released Lili of the Valley stamp collection this image is called "In The Shed", when I first saw the image I thought it would only be appropriate for mens cards, but after thinking about it, there are lots of us Ladies who love gardening and a shed isn't a male domain any more.

I have used:
Noor Designs Uk - Joy Craft Cutting & Embossing Die -  Butterfly Edge Die
Bird House Die - From Stash

Copics Used:
Shed: V12, V01, V000, V15, Greens: YG25, YG23, YG21, YG17, G21, YG97, YG93, Greys: C05, C03, C01, C00, Blue B41

Now for my Male version:   The papers are from my stash but I know they are from the now discontinued Lili of the Valley "Antibellum",  the sentiment is from Sentiment Sheet 103 - Sweet & Simple.

Products Used:

Copics Used:
Shed E74, E43, E40, EWall E97, E53, E21, Greens: YG17, G94, G93, YG97, YG61, YG25, YG23, YG21, G20, Pots: E08, E97, Reds: R27, R05, R02, Greys: C05, C03, C01, C00, Blues: B21, B02, B00, B000

A Fairy in my tea

A girlie card today, back in my comfort zone, although I must admit I enjoyed the challenge of creating male cards, they say you should stretch your mind as you get older.

This is another image from Paper Shelter, isn't she just adorable.  She has been coloured with Copics, I am hoping to have a go at colouring with Distress Inks this afternoon, haven't had them out for ages and just had the urge to do something different.

Went a bit overboard with the Dies and Flowers, I ordered a FEW!!! new roses and Lilys from  Wild Orchid Crafts and they arrived yesterday so being me I just had to use them.

Hush Little Baby

Morning All, where has the sun gone, really dull and dingy here this morning.  At the weekend I bought myself a Nutribullet to make smoothies as I wasn't eating enough fresh fruit & veg, I have been having one smoothie a day since Sunday and I must admit I feel a lot brighter, the thought of  adding spinach & carrots to fruit didn't seem very appertising but you don't taste them at all.

Today we have another of my Baby Stamps from Lili of The Valley - Balloon Basket.

I must try to find another combination of Pink Copics, I use these 4 colours every time I colour with Pink.

It's a Boy

Morning, this will be a quick post, yesterday I decided to catalogue my Lili of the Valley stamps, being as I almost have every stamp every released from the first original Jasmine & Oliver Stamps to the newest release its taking rather a long time, but I am sure it will be worth it in the end.

I came across this image, "Cosy Pram", which I don't think has ever seen Ink, so had a break from sorting out to make a quick card.  What with the fabulous Lemoncraft Paper Pad "Tiny Miracles", and the sweet image I didn't think this needed to much embellishment, just a bit of Lace, Ribbon and a few pearls, with a couple of diecuts, well for me thats not much embellishment.

I have coloured the image with Copics, and added some Polychromos Pencils on the Pram, Teddy and Blanket.  I used the Joy Craft Cutting & Embossing Butterfly Border Die which has been cut twice once in white card and once in paper from the Lemoncraft Pad,  I then cut it down into individual butterflies and arranged them around the image, I have also cut 2 Doo Hickey Labels and tucked them behind the image.

Material Used

Copics Used:

Skin E11, E21, E51, E53
Blues: B02, B00, B0000  + Light Pathalo Blue PC Pencil
Browns: E53, E51, E50, + Burnt Siena PC Pencil

Well back to cataloguing who knows what other forgotten stamps I may find.

Have a good day all

Rowan Fairy

Hello Peeps, Hope you are all having a good weekend.    Another  Whimsy Wee Stamp today this one is Rowan Fairy, I don't know what has happened with the colours on this photo, her hair and the papers are much more of a pinky mauve than they appear here.

Once again I have used papers from Nitwits Collections this one is called Lilac Blossom. I fancied giving her colourful hair and am quite pleased with the results, its a bit out of my comfort zone.

Rowan has been coloured with Copics colours below, and I sprinkled Frantage over the image, and used lots of flowers.  I love the Little Melissa Frances Picture Frames that are available from Live & Love Crafts, its has been used to frame a sentiment from Lili of the Valley Set 100 Teenage Girl Sentiment Stamps, which fits the frame beautifully.

Loving the new flowers & Berrys  I bought from Live & Love Crafts this week, couldn't wait to use them.

Products used:

Copics Colours
Flesh: E11, E21,E51, E50, R20
Mauves ( Hair & Wings)  V25, BV01, BV00, BV000

Leaves: YG99, YG94, YG95, YG91, E40

My fingers ache after that lot.

Your a Star - Inspiration for LOTV Facebook April Card Challenge

Well this time I have made sure I get the LOTV  Facebook April Card Challenge right and have used 3 COLOURS, Lilac, Aqua, Ivory.   I do hope you have time to pop over to  facebook to find out more about the challenge and join in with us this month.

For a change I used H20's to colour todays sweet image, and tried to go a bit vintage, I was a bit heavy handed with the distressing of the fabulous Butterfly Border, and couldn't find my Tim Holtzs distressing tool anywhere, so I used the blade of my scissors to distress the papers it could be better but I will persevere with trying to do vintage as I love the look.  A doily cut from Joy Craft Cutting & Embossing Butterflies Dies has been tucked right behind the Aqua backing papers.  The papers are really old Magnolia 6"x 6" sheets, the Ivory lace is from my stash, I have added a little Stardust Stickles to the edges of the flowers.

Here is the recipe with links:

Didn't realise how many embellies I used, just got carried away.

Anyway time to get on with some serious stamping thanks for visiting

Pretty Parade

Hi peeps, when I started blogging again it was my intention to just do a couple of posts a week,  but I seem to be posting most days, I am just enjoying playing with my Stamps and Copics and what's the point of making cards and not showing them lol!!!!

Another LOTV card today, this one is called Pretty Parade, she has been coloured with Copics and touched up with Polychromos Pencils, with a light dusting of Frantage.  The lovely papers are from Lemoncraft House of Roses 12"x12" Paper Pad, these papers are double sided, and I have used one side of "On the Porch" for the base of the card and then cut the border from the other side.  The postcard tucked behind also comes from the same paper pad this sheet is called "Old Letters", the self adhesive button comes from a matching set of 6 buttons belong to the same collection.

Most of the flowers are from my Stash, except for the Tulip which is from the Ribbon Girl (link below).  The Doily is from The Range.

Copics:
Pinks: R83, R81, RV0000 + Dark Grey PC Pencil
Jumper, Socks: E43, E42, E40
Hair: YR20, YR14, E17
Teddy & Rabbit: E53, E51, E50 + Brown PC Pencil

Don't forget to check out the Lili of the Valley April Card Challenge, this month you have a choice of Colours, Aqua, Pink, Red, Ivory, Lilac, the beginning letter of each colour spells out  April which I am sure the sharp eyed of you will of already worked out.  You must use at least 3 of the colours, good luck if you join in.

Just Dropping By

Good morning all, a very quick post today, got some new stamps that need colouring, I am so impatient, I know, but when the urge comes I am afraid I have to give in to it.  One of Lili of the Valley Returning Friends Stamps today, such a sweet bunny,  The photos are getting there although this one is a bit light at least its in focus.

Balloon Bunny , has been coloured with Copics, the Papers are from a Lili of the Valley Paper Pad which I am afraid is no longer available but I think it is still available as a download from Nitwit Collections - the collection is called Promises.

The ribbon is from a cheap reel I found at the Range, lots of other colours available, Flowers are from Stash and finally the leaves were cut with A Joy Craft Die - Vintage Flourish Leaf No:0046, available from Noor Designs UK

Copics Used:

Bear: E74, E43, E42, E40, R81
Mauves: V15, V12, V000

LOTV Final Sneak Peek - Jasmine Coffee

What a beautiful morning it is down here in Kent, maybe I will manage to get some time in the garden, it certainly needs some work as I was unable to do anything in it last year.

Well the waiting is nearly over and all of you who have pre-ordered your Lili of the Valley Teenage stamps will soon hear them popping through your letterbox, you will not be  disappointed I promise, they are just so useful and a joy to colour.

So today my final sneak peek is of my favourite stamp Jasmine Coffee, this is a CAS card for me but the fabulous backing paper seemed to fit the image perfectly and need no additions.  The paper was from Maja Designs "Coffee in the Arbour" 6" x 6" paper stack available from Ribbon Girl this pack also contains a couple of sheets of Butterflies that can be cut out and used on your creations as I have done , they have some delicious papers in stock, click here to go and take a look, I really want them all :).

I have also used a sentiment from LOTV Teenage Girl Sentiments - Set 100.

Does anyone know where I can get a Watermark made, when my old PC crashed I lost mine.

 Copics used on this image:

Skin: E21,E51, E50
Pinks: R85, R83, R81, RV0000 plus grey Polychromos Pencil.
Table Cloth:C3,C1,C0
Hair: E74, E71, E70, Plus Dark Brown Polychromos Pencil,
