Celebration

006a

By now I should be confident when I have to do a scheduled post but I still worry, so I hope this works.  This week on A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge we are celebrating our 2nd Birthday so the theme is CELEBRATE, we have lots of cards for you to see on the blog including cards from Zoe and Hannah the very talented daughters of Debbie and Nikki who started this great challenge and also from lots of our previous GDT, lots of candy too so don’t wait pop over and join in with our celebration, this week our challenge runs for 14 days so you have plenty of time to create something special.

You all know how daft I can be sometimes and I read the challenge as celebration not celebrate so I thought I would be different and make a Wedding Celebration card doh!!!!Anyway Debbie was kind enough to include it .  I have used the beautiful Whiff of Joy Wedding Carriage image and have used Distress Inks to colour.  The Papers are by Basic Grey and I have stamped and glittered Stemplglede Grunge Hearts on to the paper then added Glamour Dust to them, the word stamp is LOVE by Penny Black, the blue flower is from Magnolia and the Cherry Blossom and Rose Buds are by Wild Orchid Crafts .

See you tomorrow

Spring Time

003a

A Spoonfull of Sugar

Our lovely sweet and generous teamie Nikki is our sponsor for this weeks A Spoonfull of Sugar she has offered 2 lovely stamps from the latest Spring Time collection from her company Wags-n-Whiskers

It is my week to choose the theme and as Nikki had so generously given every DT member a stamp from the new release what better theme than SPRING.

003 I have used the image called Easter Blessing for my card and have used Distressed Inks to colour it, the papers are Basic Grey.   I said a few weeks ago that I had seen the Martha Stewart Bunny Border punch and had resisted buying it, but I gave in and just had to order it from Dies to Die For, I am so pleased I did :).

The fabulous Daffodils, roses and spray are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I am in love with these Daffodils what fabulous spring embellishments they make.

001Hope you have a good day, don’t forget to enter into my Birthday Candy the link to the post is on my side bar.

Hugs Jacqui xx
