Amazing

Another fantastic sketch from Creative Inspiration led to another great layout. This is the sketch I had to work with:

And this is the layout that I created.

For this layout  I used papers and chipboard from Simple Stories, I am.  The ribbon is from American Crafts. The doily is from the Dollar Store.  I very seldom use patterned paper for the background but I loved the way this one came together.

I also created a card based on this sketch from Creative Inspiration.

For this card I used Simple Stories Welcome Spring paper and chipboard.  I have popped several layers of chipboard to give it some dimension.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Please leave a comment to let me know you were here.  All comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jackie

Creative Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creative Inspiration Blog Hop.

HI ... Welcome to the Saturday April 7th Creative Inspiration DT BLOG HOP challenge.
For my challenge I have created a Lovely spring tag.
I first prepped the tag with Gesso and then used Faber-Castell Gelatoes as a water color. I then used a TCW stencil with Dowler Rowney Mother of Pearl Structure Gel coloured with yellow Gelato on the tag for a bit of depth. I had some mesh lying around from some fruit so I used a small piece of that.  I use a few pieces of chippies from Simple Stories. Also some Ribbon.  The flowers are from the Dollar store. I made my own leaves from cardstock.  The tassel is from Pink Paislee.

Please Hop along through all 10 designers blog challenges. Please follow each one, leave a comment so we know you took time to visit. Be sure to finish at the Creative Inspiration Blog where you will be entered for a bonus ballot to win a Blog Hop prize.

Feeling Good!!!

Been working on some of the mini crop challenges at Creative Inspiration and it feels good to just do some of them. Of course they are only cards but just cards count too.

I have also been doing my Bible art journaling and I love doing that too.

So things are picking up in life. Going out to the community dinner tonight, and looking forward to that as well. I am picking up my Best friend and another lady and taking them with us since she is not feeling up to driving.

Here are a few cards that I threw together for the mini crop. The mini crop this month is all about Dies.
The first challenge that I did was to use embossing and a die cut.  I used a Sizzex embossing folder. The puppy is a combination Die and Stamp set from Stampendous.  I coloured the puppy using General's water colour pencils. The lace is unknown.

The second challenge I choose to do was to use layers of Die cuts.  I used Simple Story papers and Die Cuts. The stamp is unknown.

I suspect I may do more of the challenges tomorrow.
Please leave a message to let me know you have been here and all comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jackie
