Butterfly Circle
Good evening, the last card today from my Stamps by Chloe class. This card uses the Butterfly circle die and matching stamp. This time I stamped and embossed with Wow white embossing powder. The sentiment is from Sweet Dixie and fits in the inner circle perfectly. The glitter background has been made using the new Creative Expressions glitter kisses in silver. I used the sponge applicator to spread the medium on a piece of card slightly bigger than the black. It needs a few coats but can be heat set with a gun, its dries quickly. When the butterfly wings are popped up you can see the glitter behind. Comes in a great range of colours. Finished off with a few gems.

Butterfly Arch
Its a new week and weathers looking lovely. Todays card is the second from my class with new stamps and dies from Chloe. This one used the Butterfly Arch stamp and die, together with papers from one of her 8x8 pads from last year. This die follows the same effect as the 3D flower, this time the Butterfly wings cut out the rest stays in place. I used another one of her new embossing powders called Mint Posset. The sentiment is also from Chloe and I cut it up so it would fit on the card. The paper from the pad is matted behind and matches the embossing powder beautifully.
Side view so you can see the Butterfly Wings.
Back again soon with the last card using the Butterfly circle and the lovely new Glitter Kisses from Creative Expressions.
Have a fab day

3D flower die from Stamps By Chloe
Morning, it the weekend and I hope you have all had a good week. My card today is one I made for class using the January release from Stamps by Chloe. This time she has brought out dies that only partially cut, with some co-ordinating stamps. Very quick and simple design, I stamped the flower first, its called 3D flower. I embossed it with one of her new embossing powders Bilberry Crush then die cut the flower on top. The centres stay in and the petals cut out. The stem was embossed with Crème Brule embossing powder and the sentiment is also from Chloe. Finished off with some ribbon.
Back tomorrow with my second card, have a great day and I hope you get to fit a little crafting time in.
In this photo you can see in more detail the flower head. I wanted to be able to see through it so behind the flower is a acetate circle that is also in the card base. Impossible to photograph but you get the idea. On my next posts I will show you alternate ways to decorate behind the dies.

Februarys Christmas Card
Its the weekend, I hope you all get some time to craft during the next two days! I have decided to do a monthly Christmas post. I promised myself that this year I would have all my cards made well before Christmas. I was meant to start in January but it didn't happen, so if I have planned post for the 25th of each month there should be no excuse not to get at least one done. I can then make a few of each and I should be covered. Well that's the plan anyway, lets see what materialises !!
So the card for February uses a stamp from Stamps By Chloe and its called Stag. I have had this stamp on my wish list since its been released. I love using Wow powders, so I did two version, one with their Calypso and one with Platinum embossing glitter.I used my Misti to stamp it on plain white card with Versamark ink, this way I was able to stamp it a few times and make sure it was well covered. I then heat embossed it and put it back into my Misti to stamp the sentiment which is from Papertrey Ink. I had a rummage through my Christmas embellishments and found these metal holly sprays which fitted ideally in the corner. I was going to punch some snowflakes but I like the holly and I have used something else which I have had years and years and never opened.
The actual card is just matted onto some black card and I created a top folding card to fit it.
I am teaching again today and will be back next week with nine cards I made using one third of the the Scrumptious Kit from Craft work cards.

Creating a background with Versamark
Todays card is a simple card showing how to use Versamark ink to create a watermark background. The flower stamp is called small flower embellishments is from Stamps by Chloe as is the sentiment/ The little leaves are from a Honeydoo stamp set. The have been stamped on the wonderful Ombre pad from Craftwork cards. I used a strip of the paper down the side and stamped with Versamark to create the background. Some little gems were added in the middle to finish off.

Different ways with distress ink
I had a class last week looking at different types of ink. This card uses distress ink in different ways. I used a water brush to paint the flowers with the ink off a mat, to distress around the edges and also over a heat embossed image for a resist technique. The stamp is from Stamps by Chloe. The edges have been stamped with the same one as the stem in embossing ink and covered with clear embossing powder. The stem has been stamped in Adirondak Lettuce ink. The flowers have been heat embossed with clear powder again over black pigment ink. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion. Its been all done on watercolour card. I added some yellow pearls in the centres. The distress ink colour is Scattered Straw.

White one White part 3
Last card from class at Craft Plus UK, this time using vellum and acetate. I knew from the size of the stamps the card would need to be bigger than the usual 6" square, so to be able to use A4 sheets I cut out 2 7" squares and embossed a line down the right hand side of both and then backed them wrong sides together and punched 2 holes to thread ribbon through. The acetate is heat resistant and is stamped with the branches stamp from Chloe and embossed with Wow white embossing powder, I then cut the branches out. The vellum has been stamped and embossed with a white/silver embossing powder and the Christmas Rose stamp from Chloe. I die cut the Fronds die by Sue Wilson from card topped with double sided adhesive and sprinkled with glitter. To finish, the sentiment has been filled in with glitter and the edges dipped in glitter using a Zig pen.

Some matting with Black card and a simple sentiment and its done....quick and easy and great idea for mass producing.

Chloes Cards Starry and Snowflake stamp
Todays card uses the large Starry and Snowflake stamp from Stamps by Chloe. There is a smaller version. I also used some of the Wow white embossing powder, I am loving this embossing powder....leaves hardly any behind on your cardstock as it has been treated for static.
I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed and then stamped the snowflake stamp on either side of the card. I then stamped and embossed again on some scrap card and cut out with a circle punch and matted onto a white die cut circle.
I inked and embossed the rope stamp that comes in the set. Finished off with some white twine and lots of gems for added bling!
