Brushed Blooms

I made this card quite a while ago with the stamps and dies from the Stampin Up Brushed Blooms set, that appears in the Jan/June 2021 mini book.  I made a tent style card with Blushing Bride cardstock and I used the brushstroke stamps with Crumb Cake ink on a rectangle die cut ( Stitched So Sweetly die set). The flowers were stamped and die cut using Blushing Bride, Rocco Rose inks with Pear Pizazz on the leaves. The background has been stamped with Versamark ink and a little dotty stamp that comes in the set. The sentiment is also included and just stamped with Black ink.

New In Colour Fresh Freesia

Another Pansy Patch card today, this time using the Fresh Freesia side of one of the patterned papers in the collection pack. Its a simply tent fold card, with the gingham paper and a scalloped die cut rectangle. I stamped the sentiment first and then arranged the Pansy and the little bud around it. This time I used Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss card for the flower with  Basic White. Bumblebee card for the center again and the new in colours Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen for the leaves.

Sympathy Card

This is the third card I did using the Sizzix Ink Bloom set, this time keeping it very simple and suitable for a sympathy card. I stamped the flower cluster six times and used the die to cut them out. I did a little colouring, mainly in the centers and I kept it all green. I cut the background card and then die cut the circle before running it through the embossing folder. I stamped the sentiment on the card blank, added the embossed layer and then arranged the flowers to make a wreath. They are attached with foam pads.

Fore Your Birthday

Just two more cards left from the kit I did using the Well Suited range of products from Stampin Up. Todays card is based on something my hubby would wear for golf. I used the dotty paper from the designer series pack and changed the colour of the collar to a plain colour. The jumper is a embossing folder and I used the Taylored Tag punch for the sentiment. The sentiment stamp is from my stash long ago discontinued but ideal for what I wanted.

Tuxedo card

Todays card uses the Well Suited collection again but this time to make a card for a special birthday. The dicky bows come in the die set and there is a stamp as well to match. I made the lapels in pearl card for a change that I had in my stash. The waistcoat paper is from the designer series collection that goes with the suite. I cut the sentiment die from the Many Messages die but the stamp is from the Many Mates stamp set.

Worlds Greatest Dad

Back again with my second card made with the Stampin Up suit and tie die set. This time I used the ties dies and cut them from three different papers in the well suited designer paper pack. I made a frame using some rectangle dies and finished off with a sentiment using one of the stamps in the coordinating stamp set. Its a 3d card that I made with cardstock measuring 5 3/8" x 8" and I scored at 1" , 2", 6" and 7" . I decorated the side panels with some more of the papers and backed with red card.

Well Suited

Good morning, again apologies for lack of posts but as well as getting over covid I have had to deal with my mum sadly passing away a couple of weeks ago. Not unexpected as she had been ill since new year but still very sad and as I am an only child I am trying to deal with everything that needs to be done. Hard enough at best of times but throw in a pandemic and its all gets a lot more complicated. So I dont have the energy or I must admit the enthusiasm for crafting at moment, hopefully it will return once I get on top of everything.  Luckily, I  had already had everything here for my next three kits, so I had already created the cards and I can now post the first of those as kits have been received. In the new Spring/Summer Stampin Up book there is a great suite called Well Suited. It is made up of stamps, dies, papers and twine. Men's cards are so hard to make and this collection is great for those cards and can easily be adapted for different ages or occasions. Todays card uses the fab pinstripe paper and and I used the dies to make a suit. There is a die for the button seam which I used for the sentiment strip. I die cut the pocket with the same paper as the tie to create the handkerchief.
