Robi Botos, Oliver Jones, Kenny Barron, Benny Green, Gerald Clayton, Renee Rosnes, Bill Charlap and Dave Young reunite with Oscar’s piano, which is being transported to the RCM for this special night, to play the songs they recorded for the legendary pianist. Oscar @ 90, a sold-out concert that took place at Koerner Hall in Toronto on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015.

Renee Rosnes & Bill Charlap - On Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz (2008)

It's a rare thing to have three pianists at three pianos in one studio. But given the marriage of keyboard masters Bill Charlap and Renee Rosnes, host Marian McPartland thought it was a perfect opportunity to expand the Piano Jazz format with two of today's most gifted players as her guests.Charlap is one of the finest interpreters of  the american songbook and Rosnes is a modern jazz wizard. They join McPartland in this 2008 session and here after for the music only without the usual conversations between performances.

Marian Petrescu - On Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz (2009)

Romanian pianist Marian Petrescu makes his Piano Jazz debut with guest host Renee Rosnes. The fleet-fingered Petrescu, with obvious influences from Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson, has been performing in Europe since he was a teenager.

Renee Rosnes - Tanglewood Jazz Fest (2007)

Canadian pianist and composer Renee Rosnes, who was nominated for a 2006 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs) award, made her Tanglewood Jazz Festival debut as a guest of Marian McPartland for a live taping of “Piano Jazz” on September 1, 2007. Raised in Vancouver, Renee Rosnes graduated from the University of Toronto, where she was a Classical Performance student. Receiving a grant from Canada Council in 1986, she traveled to New York, where she resides today with her husband, pianist Bill Charlap.
