Danish saxophonist and composer Hans Ulrik and pianist Lars Jansson Swedish began working together in the early 1990s, after Hans Ulrik has heard the Jansson trio on " The Eternal Now". "It shocked me ," said Hans Ulrik . " This is exactly how I feel the music: Very melodic, deep balance, and with a great sound on all instruments." They began working together , and in 1994, "Strange World" is recorded. After that, Ulrik follow other paths, and Jansson continues to work with various trios. But they kept in touch. Hans Ulrik wrote the music he loves to hear play by Jansson and Jansson obviously love to play. That jazz is for their audience.
