Andrea Pozza Trio - Drop This Thing (2008)


Pozza’s original sound has been inspired by many master jazz pianists including Teddy Wilson, Bud Powell, Bill Evans, Winton Kelly and McCoy Tyner. From 2004-2008, Pozza was a member of the Enrico Rava quintet, with whom he recorded The Words and Days (2007) for the ECM Label. As a leader, Pozza has recorded 4 CDs with his trio: "Introducing" for Philology Records, "Plays Ellington, Monk, and Himself" for Gofour Records, "Love Walked In" for the English 33 Records and “Drop this Thing” for Dejavu Records.
