Gratitude

For my FCCB click here.

The talented and lovely Susan has set this week's challenge and it is Gratitude.
We are to create a cricut project for something/someone we are thankful for.

I have lots of things to be thankful for ...Family,Friends,Health,Life

My project today is for someone that I am so very Thankful is in my life..my Son.
I had a very difficult pregnancy and was lucky that both he and I came through it.
Ossian was 12 on Friday and this is the card I made for him....

He took up golf this year and is obsessed with it. His handicap is down to 14 and he is playing for the County. He has been invited to Prep school and School of Excellence for talented players with the potential of taking it further. His birthday card had to be golf!!
He also plays football and is captain of Havant Hockey and goes through for County trials for them in January. Yes,we do run around a lot between all this, work and school!!

Many of you will know that I have a difficult friendship with my Gypsy at times!! Lol. But I did pull it out to make this card.

I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Wrap It Up for the cuts. I have to apologise because I have mislaid my recipe ingredients for this project. If you read my previous post you will know about the building work and I think I just 'filed' my ingredients. I will post them when they reveal themselves!

I would just like to say thank you to Donna and Carole for their leadership and friendship at BBTB2.They are handing over the reins to Susan who I Know will take good care of it.Carole is remaining on the Design Team with us(hurray) and Donna is moving on :(.
Donna we will miss you at BBTB2 and wish you well.

Do check out all the wonderful inspiration from the team and link up your thankful project with us.

Fantabulous Cricut Guest Designer

Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog. I am absolutely delighted to tell you that I am Guest Designer over at Fantabulous Cricut today. I love their site and what a great honour it is to be chosen this week, so thrilled!

The challenge this week is 'A Pool Theme' - must make a water based project. Here's my take of the animals having some 'pool fun'........
It's a step card and very easy to make. I took an A4 piece of white card and creased the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th line on my score board then folded the remainder of the card in half.

Recipe
Nate's ABCs - elephant 3.5", crocodile 2.25"
Create a Critter - hippo 2.5", water 1.25"
Everyday Paper Dolls - raindrops and splashes 2.5"
MS punch - grass
Embossing, inking and doodling
Lots of 3d foam and glossy accents
I like how this turned out and hope you do too. Do join in the fun this week over at Fantabulous Cricut. Can't wait to see what you make.

Thanks for looking, have a great week. Jayne x

Royal Wedding

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a good thursday. We've had beautiful weather but it's just on the turn! Hope it stays dry for Kate and William tomorrow. The card I have is to celebrate their big day and I know it's incredibly cheesy but how many Royal Weddings do we get! Lol!
I am entering this intoBBTB2 where Julie has selected Home Decor Crown.I don't have this cartridge so used a crown from paper Dolls.Technically he won't be wearing a crown tomorrow, but hey...poetic license!!
I think he'll be in RAF uniform and it's rumoured the Queen is giving Kate a family tiara to wear.

Also entering this into Whimsical Wednesdays - It's a Royal Celebration.

All cuts are from Paper Doll Dress Up or Everyday Paper Dolls and cut at 3.5"
Even the pennants are on there and they are cut at 3"
As usual, lots of inking, doodling, krylon pen for gold buttons, gems and 3d foam.

I've noticed that lots of people use peachy keen stamps(hope that's right)and I think they would have been great for my couple.Think I need to go on an international shopping trip!!!(Online!)Lol.

Thanks for looking in.Wishing Wills and Kate a very happy, healthy and long life together.

April Showers

Hi,what a beautiful, bright, spring day we are having today! The Monday Challenge over at fantabulous cricut  is themed April Showers and we were to use an umbrella or hat cricut cut. Also, over at the paper variety there is a photo inspiration challenge, which I have submitted this card for :-) and then I entered  challenge 51 at sheri crafts the theme being April Showers. Thought about this for ages as didn't know what to do with this. My son when he was younger loved to put his wellies on  and splash in the puddles(and we usually get a lot of opportunity for that in the UK!!!!). So here's my card.....

I tried to show the 'fun' side to rain!

Card Recipe

Boy,umbrella, cloud, rain and splashes cut at 2 3/4" - Everyday Paper Dolls
Splash,puddle and grass - Create a Critter
Flocked Paper - Me and My Big Ideas
Inking,doodling and glossy accents.
