FRIDAY FUN FOR KYAH'S CHEERLEADING SQUAD!!

Hey there!! HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Thanks for stopping by for some FRIDAY FUN!!! Sorry it's a LATE night Friday Fun, BUT, let me tell ya..........THIS....took a WHILE!!! Haha! Since it is late, I will make it quick and just show LOTS of pics!!! Well, I will give a BIT of background! Haha!
You all remember me telling you about the YORK STAMP AND PAPER SHOW?? Well, thanks to RUBBERNECKER, I got involved more with the whole DISTRESS INKS thing!! All I can say is?? I LOVE them!! SO.......I gave them a shot, with this project. I knew I had wanted to make treat bags for Kyah's cheerleading squad? I knew even WHICH image I wanted to use! What I didn't know?? Is if I wanted to color TWENTY of them!! SO.........I thought.........DISTRESS INKS!!! AND??? Here we are.......check it out!!!

TWENTY tags!! Can you believe it?? These are what they looked like, BEFORE I added the bags! I crumpled the tag, straightened it, rubbed Fired Brick on it,sprayed it with water, ironed it out, stamped it with this CA-ute Sugar Nellie image, tamped it AGAIN with these Technique Tuesday sentiments, and distressed the edges with my foam distressing tool!! WOOHOO!! Did you catch all that?? SO QUICK!!! That was our word at that stamp show.....QUICK!! I know, I know.....ordinarily I color, color, color!! BUT?? I think they turned out.....NOT so bad!! Don't 'cha think??
Now.....I wasn't sure HOW I wanted to add them to the bags? BUT......I really did not want to take away form the tag, or rip the bag(TOO much in them)! Haha! SO the next pics, are what the end result looked like!! I am sure it may look a little SIMPLE? BUT.....ahhhh....what can I say?? I do LIKE them!! OH.....I even have some pics of what I put IN the bags!! SO excited to give them to the girls!! BE sure to tune in tomorrow.......Kyah wanted to make cards for the girls? WOOHOO!! It is WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY!! I LOVE Wednesdays!! Those Diedrich kids have THE best challenges.....I swear!! This Wednesday is ESPECIALLY exciting though!! We are welcoming TWO new DAREDEVILS!! How AWESOME is that!! Be sure to leave them some welcoming LOVE, won't you? Our TWO new Daredevils are VAL and JACQUIE!! YAY!! These ladies are SUPER talented and we are SO happy to have them join us!!
OK.....this week we have an INSPIRATION challenge, brought to you by the little DIVA herself!!! Madelynn, like my own daughter, likes Wizards Of Waverly Place!! I too, think this show is pretty good! OK......so.....Madelynn likes Alex and her FUNKY style!! Not to mention Kyah LOVES her music! Haha! Well.....you know me and FUNKY!! Anyway, all that being said, the plate pictured above.....is our INSPIRATION this week!! Our featured stamper, Darla, is over at the WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY BLOG and has the rest of the DEETS for you!! YAY!!! Wednesday is here!! That can only mean TWO things!! It is WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY.....and.......we are halfway thru the week! This week's WHIMSICAL DARE, comes to you from Jack!! It is HIS turn this weeek!! He chose this pic, as his inspiration. Would you believe, he remembered when his sister had mugs for her challenge? Haha!! TOO cute, he is!!

Remember I said this was going to be a week of FIRSTS? Well, this is my FIRST Leanne Ellis creation!! Her name is CUP OF TEA!! I ordered her with my other stuff, from Sugar Nellie!! Isn't she cute? The sentiment is from Stamping Bella! Not that I wanted to list that, but, alas that is another story! Haha! The lighting was messin' with me, not like I don't have 3 of them or anything!! BUT....other then that? I LOVED how this turned out! I think I will have to look into making one of those light box things! OK, so,.... I LOVE tea, which made this image and this challenge PERFECT!!!
