Hey there Twinklers!! How the heck are you?? Man...........it took some doin', but........I DID it!!! YAY!!! I was afraid I had forgotten how to create, it has been SO long!!! Haha! AN INSPIRATION CHALLENGE!

Hi there ladies!! Quick post for you tonight! Sorry I am just now getting this up for you and sorry I am SO lame!! The twins are sick and Kali is being, well..... EXTRA fussy today! Neither of them really got a nap. So...here we are; here we are with NO creation for you! I wanted to post this FANTASTIC challenge for you though! As you know, today is TWINKLING TUESDAY!!! Now..this week we have a TEMPORARY TWINKLER and he is none other than our AWESOME, BONNIE's son, JAMESON!! This was a VERY unique challenge and it is SO wonderful, the thought Jameson put into this!! Here is a synopsis of Suki’s Kimono

Suki is a young Japanese-Canadian girl who loves learning about her heritage from her grandmother. Her grandmother gave her a kimono and her first time wearing it was to a summer street festival where they ate traditional food, listened to music and performed a graceful circle dance with other dancers. When school starts in the fall, Suki insists on wearing her favourite thing the first day, her kimono and Japanese wooden clogs called geta, despite her sisters who say she will look weird, insist she needs something cool to wear and walk ahead of her all the way to school. The other children make fun of her too, calling her clothes funny and saying her beautiful, full sleeves make her look like a bat! When the first-grade teacher asks the children to introduce themselves and explain what they did that summer, not only does Suki tell the other kids about her kimono, geta and the festival, she even shows them the dance. The kids start out teasing her but as they watch her dance, they become quiet and even clap after she is done.
Since I noticed on a couple of blogs last time that our previous inspiration challenge was a bit too challenging (Mickey and Minnie), I thought I might give a few ideas this time. 1. Watercolour (like the illustrations) 2. Anything Asian, especially Japanese 3. Use the colours from her kimono, her grandmother’s kimono or any of the illustrations as inspiration 4. The relationship between an older person and a child 5. Any card that shows one element standing out as different from the rest of the card. I’ve seen cards with several circle punchies, all the same with a single bright-coloured/patterned one; all circles/squares with one flower or butterfly; all uncoloured flowers with a single one coloured in, etc. 6. Dancing 7. Colour a girl stamp to look like Suki 8. Paper piece a kimono on a girl stamp. I hope that helps.

TWINKLING TWILIGHT!!!

Hey ladies! Hope you had an AWESOME day!! Alas....as PROMISED...I am back with my TWINKLING post!! Better late than never!! However, it is now TWILIGHT!! Haha!! OK!! What can I say!! The meds are kickin' in!! I got some of that sinus stuff?? It really gives NEW meaning to the phrase, "WOOHOO"!! Without a doubt!! Seeing as I am a TAD fuzzy?? I will make this brief!! I will NOT torture you with my silliness and my ramblings!! Lucky for you...huh??

Alright, so, I wanted to post this for you earlier! However, getting ready for work this morning was QUITE interesting!! There was LOTS to do!! Had my card ready for you and a dead camera battery!! Huh...imagine that, would ya!! That was a MAJOR bummer!! So, I left it charge while I was at work and......here we are!! I hope you like it!! I used my NEW, Stamping Bella Hugabugg stamp!! My SWEET friend Cheri and I did a kind of Stamping Bella exchange!! Hehe!! This is the stamp I received from her and the funny thing is??? I got her the SAME one!! Haha!! Thanks Cheri!! I LOVE this stamp!!! After I colored her, I layered my Basic Grey paper onto my Perfect Plum Card Stock!! Then I finished it off with some misc flowers and sparkly's. How do you like that word?? Haha!! Maybe it should be "sparklies"! Oh well!!

IT'S TWINKLING TUESDAY AND I AM CERTIFIED!!!!

Can I get a HUGE WOOHOO??!! As I had said in the title, I am CERTIFIED!!! YAY!! Copic Certified that is!!! I feel like I haven't visited with you all for awhile!!! HOpe you all are well!! I had to get stuff ready for my trip to Maryland, this past weekend. You know, the whole what I need to take and what needs to be ready for everyone, while I am gone?? Yepper!!! It took me a bit! See....this was the first time I have been away, since I had the twins!! YAY me!! Right?? No....but....seriously!! What an AWESOME group of ladies!!! By group I would HAVE to include everyone involved!! From Patti, the WONDERFUL shop owner, to Sally Lynn, our instructor!! All the ladies who make up The Queen's Ink family and all the LOVELY fellow Copic students!! You ALL were PHENOM and I thank you!!! It was FANTASTIC to spend my Sunday with you!!! I will have to elaborate on my class next time though, sorry!!! You know I tend to get a bit carried away!! Haha!! It is late, after all!!! Well...it's late here anyway!!! Well.....I am doing this Monday night, for a change!! Just had to give you a little bit of info, while I was here tonight!!!

Of course tomorrow is Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday!!! What FUN!!! HUH??!!! This week's challenge is to use a stamp that you have gotten and NEVER inked up!!! You know how we all are!! We just HAD to have it??? And........There it sits!!! In a drawer or on a shelf, but, it is LONELY none the less!!! So.......Bring that poor neglected stamp out!!! Go ahead.....ink it up!!!!

Ok...MY here is my take on this challenge! I used some of the techniques I learned, from the AWESOME Sally Lynn, on Sunday!!! I will continue to practice, but, do hope you like it!! This is also the FIRST card, I have made, using predominantly COPICS!!! The ONLY Prisma marker I used, was for the little doggy!! Alright, I will give you 1....ok maybe 2 ....tips I learned. Make sure to stay tuned for more tidbits too!!! Did you know........that you can use your Copic markers to color ribbon???? Heck yeah!!!! I LOVE it!!! And......did you also know......you can use your SAME Copic to color your brads to match??? Did ya?? Well?? Did ya??? All I can say is.....YES YOU CAN!!! Have at it!! You know me and the whole matchy, matchy thing!!! How psyched was I to learn this?? You can only imagine, right?? Haha!!! Thanks again for stopping by ladies!! WOW!! TUESDAY ALREADY!!!

Hey there everyone!! How are you?? So Sorry I am getting this to you late!!! You know me though, I am the perfectionist!!! If it's not right??? Do it, do it, do it again!!! Until it is!!! Haha!! So here we are....another Tuesday, already!!! Thanks for stopping back and joining me for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday!! This week is another exciting TEMPORARY TWINKIE!! YAY!! It's our Rebecca's very own.....Jameson!!! This week's challenge is an inspirational one!! Great job Rebecca and Jameson!!! I LOVE this!!! You all will too!! THE STORY!

Mickey is a Park Ranger working in the national forest. One day on his patrols, he hears a cry for help. He sees a beautiful girl mouse with tears on her face because she has fallen while hiking and broken her leg. The gallant Mickey comes to the rescue of the lovely Minnie, administers first aid, drives her to the hospital, waits for her to be treated and drives her home. They fall in love and the rest is history. However, a few months later, when Mickey goes to pick up his tuxedo on the morning of their wedding day, they have accidentally rented out all of the mouse-sized tuxes! So Mickey shows up anyway in his Ranger uniform. Minnie starts up the aisle and is surprised to see Mickey wearing his uniform but she doesn’t care because that is how he looked when she fell in love with him!

Cute, huh?? Now.......are you all sitting down?? I can't believe I haven't shared this with you yet!! Guess who got an email from COPIC?? Go ahead.......GUESS!!! No....c'mon!! Guess guys!! Ok......I'll tell you!! It was ME!! I am SO doing the happy dance!!!! I can't believe it!!! I am GOING to the Copic certification class, in Maryland!!!! It is THIS Sunday!!! Can I get a BIG WOOHOO!!!!???? I know, I know....not TOO exciting for all of you!! Sorry!!! I just had to share with you!!

Well.....it is a BIT late and my hubby is actually home tonight!! So.....I SHOULD spend some time with him!! Thank you ALL for visiting with me tonight. I hope you enjoyed my version of the MTTSC.
