WHAT A SWEET CHALLENGE!!

MOJO MONDAY ON SUNDAY!

Happy Sunday friends!! What's up?! It is ALWAYS amazing how FAST Sunday gets here each weekend!! Isn't it? I would like to start by saying that my thoughts and prayers are with those effected by all those HORRIFIC tornadoes!! May you and your families be safe!!

Ok friends I recently received another PAPER SMOOCHES stamp set!! Can you imagine that?! AND......I can't decide which one is cuter!! Haha! All of the SMOOCHES images are SO, CA-ute!! I always find it HARD to pick one!! Haha! I will just have to work on using them ALL!! So, after I colored my little PS image in with my Copics, I set out to find a sketch! I have a FEW challenge sites that I LOVE to frequent and here is the one I chose for my creation! Check it out!


Mojo Monday!! COOL, huh? You could go round OR square!! Gotta LOVE that! I chose SQUARE! The image I used is the PEAS image from the VEGTASTIC set! If you haven't seen this set? You NEED to go and peek!! Although, I warn you......you will want MORE than just that ONE! Anyway, I layered my PEAS onto Georgia Pacific White cardstock and Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DSP!! That's DEF another thing that is growing on me, COSMO CRICKET!! I used Tuxedo Memento Ink to stamp my image; Cottage Ivy Memento to stamp the sentiment and distress the edges of the dark layered piece! My MFT Scallop Die cut out the peas DSP. I completed the creation with some Creative Memories flowers, which I have had FOREVER, and misc white ribbon! Oh....and the centers of those flowers have small green Bella Dots in them, from Stamping Bella!! LOVE those dots, you can use them EVERYWHERE!! Alrighty! I am off to see about a few groceries! A KRAFTIN' KIMMIE SKETCH!

Hey all!! How are ya tonight!! Stopping by with a KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGE! SO excited about THIS one!! I don't know that I have EVER gotten to play along with the Krafty Girls!! Here is their challenge for this week!

I actually had this image colored up for a WHILE now!! It was in my little bin of stuff that was READY to be turned into SOMETHING?? Woohoo!! Do you have one of those bins? I am SO glad this image got turned into a card! The image is CHARLOTTE from Kraftin' Kimmie and the sentiment is Kimmie's too; it is from the EVERYDAY SENTIMENTS! I have had these, I SWEAR, from the beginning! Well, let's just say they were among the ORIGINAL Kimmie's!! I LOVE them!! However, I MUST admit? They NEED more LOVE!! That is something I will DEF need to work on!! Haha!
Now, I wish I could remember EVERYTHING about the ingredients, BUT, like I said....it has been sitting here for a WHILE!! Poor thing!! There it was in a little bag, cardstock, DSP, and colored image! Just waiting!! Haha! Let's see.........I used PTI Raspberry Fizz cardstock and Basic Grey DSP. I punched out the sentiment with my SU Word Window punch and embossed the PINK strips of cardstock with my CB Seeing Spots embossing folder! Oh and I usually am able to list, for ya, my Copic colors? I am afraid I CANNOT remember back that far! Haha! Next time, I promise! Hope you can join in with the KIMMIE challenge too!! It was FUN!! Be sure to tune in tomorrow for my GUEST Designer post!! SWEET SUNDAY ON TUESDAY!!

Happy Tuesday friends!! How are you? We are having an overcast day here today! Although it is a BIT grey? It is on the warmer side!! SO? I'll take it!! Haha!
I have been working on my craft area here lately. Trying to get it BETTER organized? If there is such a thing! In doing this, I created a drawer for images that I have colored already AND those that I have colored along, with coordinated papers already! Normally it is the latter, for if you kow me? You know that I ALWAYS, ok 95% of the time, pick my papers out FIRST before I even start coloring!! Anyhoo, I decided to pull from that drawer today! I wanted to create a little something? AND?.......play with my NEW camera!! Haha!! What a GREAT combonation, huh?
Well, when you have these things in mind, you should have a sketch to go with your creativity!! Right?? Right!! I mean......a sketch is JUST a guide, isn't it?? I perused the internet and here is what I found!! It was DEF fun to play along!! You can CLICK on the sketch to play along too!!

Of course, here is MY take on this CUTE sketch!! WITH my new camera, OUTSIDE!!


I used the SUPER, groovy HIPPIE CHIC set from MARKET STREET STAMPS!! This set is WAY cool and SO versatile!! I combined my image with the MSS sentiment set called, SIMPLE JOYS! I LOVE this set!! My papers are from DCWV and the cardstock is Cocoa from PTI! I used Spellbinders Ovals to cut out my image and a MS grass punch to do my grass. I finished this off with some of my FAVE twine, in cappuccino, from THE TWINERY!! Hope you like and hope to see you tomorrow!! Thanks SO much for stopping by and have an AWESOME night! HEY CHICKIE!!

Well hello there friends!! How are you this FINE evening?? TOO much?? Haha!! What can I say, I am SO excited to share tonight!! Made me a LITTLE silly!! Imagine that!! SO, I don;t know if any of you saw my FB post, about getting PAPER SMOOCHES happy mail?? Well.........that is WHY I am here!! As soon as I got that SUPER ca-ute NEW set?? I got RIGHT to it!!
I had bought something from a girlie on SCS? In the NICE little package was an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of white cardstock, folded in half, in there with it! This cardstock? Boy was it NICE!! It was.....heavy, like I could use it for a card base?? AND? That is exactly what I did!! I am LIKING it!! A LOT!! I contacted the LOVELY lady I got my package from and she told me it was in fact, Papertrey Ink white!! Really?? WOW!! Now, you must understand, I use Georgia Pacific white for my Copic coloring and have NEVER experienced this cardstock before!! I was DEF pleasantly surprised!!! Let me just tell you!!
Ok,ok.....I am getting carried away! Anyhoo.........I LOVE my new Paper Smooches set!! It is called CHUBBY CHUMS?? And.....it is TOO Darn sweet!! I picked out some DSP to go with my set and ended up with the NERDY BIRD collection from Sassafras? Ahhh.......you know me and the whole' "matchy-matchy" thing!! That is why I ALWAYS choose my DSP first, so my colors are JUST right!! Haha!! SICK......right?? After my image was colored? It was off to the internet and DAILY DARE, to find a sketch! Here is what I ended up doing!! let me know what you think!!

Hello my friends!! How are you? How is your week going? Ahhh.......I cannot believe tomorrow is Wednesday, ALREADY!! Thanks for visiting with me tonight! As promised, I have ANOTHER creation for you!! Guess what? In honor of the DT call closing....for the SWEET STAMP SHOP? I thought I would create a SSS creation!! While creating, I checked out the MOJO MONDAY sketch and thought I would give it a try!! SO, here is my take on the sketch with my second SWEET STAMP SHOP set!! A couple days ago I showed you the FURRY FRIENDS one? Well, when I WON that? NICOLE was awesome enough to allow me to order something else and she just sent it along to me in the SAME package!! How COOL is that!! I chose this set, THE CORE OF IT!! Such GREAT customer service, besides the fact she has some SUPER, sweet images!! Alrighty, ONE more little bit of excitement!! The pics are taken with my NEW camera? I am getting used to it!! You just GOTTA love that!! PLUS?? I discovered that my NEW camera has a SUPER macro mode?? LOVE it!! Ok, done babbling!! Haha!
