Happy Monday Everyone,

I am soooooo happy to share my excitement,
back in January Lucy from Flourish with a Bling
asked me if I would be interested in becoming a Guest DT for them. Of course I jumped at the chance, I love love love all their beautiful embellies.  They are not new to me though, I fell in love with them a long time ago, I use their beautiful flourishes, pearls and rhinestones and have been for sometime. Back when I was a DT for Tickled Pink Stamps the gorgeous Kellie Winnell sent some to me in a wonderful DT pack full of FWAB goodies!!!!!

Stamping Tilda

Happy Monday Everyone,

Meet Stamping Tilda
She is one of the new special edition stamps from Magnolia
and Flying Angel Tilda - my craftroom angel

This set was made as one of my GDT projects for Flourish with a Bling,  showcasing some of their gorgeous embellishments.

I was lucky to receive this stamp in my DT package from Magnolia. I decided to make a folder to keep Favourite Magnolia Stamps and Stamping Tilda is just perfect.

I stamped her out a few times for some added dimension.
She is coloured with Copic Markers, the background is airbrushed to give even more depth.
The pencil holder is covered with matching paper and coated with sealer and is a perfect home for Flying Angel Tilda (Guardian Angel) to watch over my craftroom.
Oops, I forgot to photograph the inside of my folder, it is on it's way to Magnolia Sweden sorry!!

The stamps are from Magnolia's Bon Voyage Collection - Tilda goes Shopping & Boutique Window. I love to shop as most girls do, so I couldn't resist these adorable stamps.

For dimension I made a Shadow Box Card (here is a tutorial). I stamped the Boutique on acetate to represent the window, and of course I had to have the new Tim Holtz embossing folders when they first came out, but this is the first time I have used the brick embossing folder, perfect for these stamps, I smothered the bricks with crackled paint, added a diamond & pearls swirl a gift from the gorgeous Stephanne.

I wanted my Boutique to look like a very exensive high end jewellery store, and I think it would fit in nicely in Rodeo Drive.

Stamps: Magnolia's Bon Voyage Collection - Tilda goes Shopping & Boutique Window
Copics: Skin E00, 000, 11, R20, Pinks, R83, 81 & R000, Blues B93, 91 & Hair E31, 30 & 25
Other: Magnolia Designer Paper & Doohickey Tilda Lace, Border Punch for Awning - EK Success, Ribbon - May Arts, Crackled Paint (Picket Fence) Ranger, Watermark designed by Heather Rolin.

Valentine's Vintage Tilda

Hello Lovelies,

Sorry, I am a behind again this week, after catching up from my Christmas holiday break.  Then last week I was struck down with a virus, it started with a bad headache that lasted a few days and grew from there. A very quick post from me today. Thank you to everyone for visiting and leaving such wonderful comments, I will drop by soon to leave you some love in return. Cyber hugs to you all and again thank you.

This card was made for the Challenge over at
Just Magnolia - Hearts & Flowers.
If you are looking for inspiration, visit Just Magnolia's talented DT's, their creations are amazing.

& Cute Card Thursday - Blooming Gorgeous

Oops, I did not realise at the time of making this card how similar it is to my Christmas Card, oh well at least I'm consistent.

As most of you know I love flowers, I've used a mixture of flowers, some heart paper, a heart button sewn onto the silk bow. The images are both from Magnolia, another favourite from the latest Christmas collection So Jolly & Under the Mistletoe, Vintage Tilda, perfect for occasions all year round. The doily is from the wonderful Kellie of Magnolia Down Under. Coloured with copic markers.

Have a great week.

A Little Yummy for your Tummy

Hello Lovelies, a happy Sunday to you all,

Sketch Challange with a twist - A girly card with something orange.

We have a new Sponsor this week - "The Cutting Cafe"
They offer a huge range of affordable printable stamps and cutting templates - stop by & check them out.

As you can see I probably broke the rules a few times. I mirror reversed the sketch and my card could have been a lot more girly, but I have spent the last few days in bed suffering from bad headaches, something I don't normally suffer from, I crawled out of bed to make this card, totally not happy with it, I should not have left my DT card so late, but sometimes the mojo just isn't flowing when it should. I will probably re-do this card when I am feeling better. Anyways enough about me.

I used another of my favourite stamps, "Peachy Tilda", sentiment stamp and this gorgeous paper all from Magnolia's Yummy for your Tummy Collection (Peachy Tilda is in stock now at Kellie's Magnolia Down Under Store) Coloured with Copics, my favourite MS border punch and silk ribbon, flowers & half pearls.

By now I am sure you would have read our exciting news, Magnolia Down Under Challenges are changing to WEEKLY CHALLENGES, woo hoo, starting next week. You now get to play more often and win more often. I hope you will join us.

Our other exciting news is we have 2 new DT's joining us -

Kick up Your Heels

Happy Weekend to my Crafting Friends,

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, today is a very short post as I am running a little behind with some DT work, I have spent yesterday in bed with a very bad headache. Never mind I am up & about today. I made this a week or so back and forgot about it.

This image is from Magnolia's Winter Kit and the latest Raising the Ceiling Collection - called Charleston Tilda, I think she is perfect for so many occasions all dressed up in heels. I had intended to use her for my New Year's cards, but I was away over the holidays. Coloured with Copics and doused her shoes & frill on her party dress with some glittery goodness. The gorgeous papers are Basic Grey's Sugar Rush, I was so tempted to buy a full book of these beautiful papers but I find I only use a couple of sheets of my favourites and then I am left with drawers full of unused papers, so I just bought a few sheets, how good am I hehehe. Sentiment is computer generated and Hero Arts and flowers & ribbon from stash.

Don't forget Magnolia Down Under Store is having a sale on all stamps, 10-15% off and this includes the Yummy for your Tummy Collection (just arrived in store) & Raising the Ceiling items displayed in store for Pre-Order also the fabulous Personalised Stamps. Sale finishes this weekend so hurry before stock runs out.

Have a wonderful weekend, I will be back tomorrow with my Magnolia Down Under Challenge DT project.

Thinking of You - Edwin

Hello Everyone,

I hope you have had a wonderful start to the week, yesterday was Australia Day, we had friends over to help celebrate with a BBQ and a swim. The weather has been so strange this week, storms, heat wave conditions and then the next day it is cool. Anyways, enough of my waffle.

This stamp is from the new Magnolia Raising the Ceiling Collection, Heartbreaker Edwin, such a perfect name for this adorable stamp and a new favourite for me, so many favourites. You can pre-order him from Kellie's - Magnolia Down Under Store.

I really enjoyed following this sketch, thanks Jay Jay. If you are looking for inspiration, visit Just Magnolia's talented DT's, their creations are amazing.

I have also entered this in the following challenges:
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 88 Freestyle
Everybody Art Challenge - Challenge 75 - Brown Blue & White

I stamped Heartbreaker Edwin twice for dimension. Coloured with Copic markers, the gorgeous papers are from my Christmas stash, MME The Merry Days of Christmas and the MS border is my new favourite, not new to MS collectors, but new to me. I distressed the edges, then a little sewing to give it that handmade with love look and inked the oval with Tea Dye Distress ink, the sentiment is from Hero Arts, I added some tiny heart punches and half pearls by Kaisercraft , added  the beautiful flowers and silk ribbon. (The colour of the ribbon did not photograph the true colour it is a better match in real life, oh well)

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to Janiel from ScrappyJan Designs for this fabulous blog award. I appreciate it and feel very honoured, thanks Janiel - if you have not visited Janiel's blog, you are missing out big time.

So many wonderful blogs, I would like to pass this onto everyone who visits me, thanks you so much, your visits and comments brighten my day. Thank you to each & everyone of you. Have a wonderful week.

Happy Australia Day

Happy Weekend Everyone & Happy Australia Day to my fellow Aussies.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. For some of us it is a long weekend,  Australia Day falls on Tuesday 26th January, that day being a public holiday, most are taking an extra day on Monday and making a 4 day weekend. Lots of BBQ's and picnics outdoors with our wonderful summer weather.

I wanted to make a card to celebrate our special day. We are so blessed with such a beautiful country and we have so much to be thankful for.

A few years ago, I had some Australian flags on toothpicks for Australia Day celebrations, but do you think I could find them. Oh well, I made this one, I downloaded a small flag and added some wire. When making a Christmas card with this sweet Tilda I pictured her holding this flag, I think she is perfect to fly our flag. I added the star to her blouse to dress her up a little and added some stickles. I coloured her with Copics, added my usual silk bow, gorgeous flowers, and punched out a few stars for some added glamour.  Celebrate with Style Sentiment - Hero Arts, other sentiments - Hero Arts alphabet stamps, Cuttlebug stars embossing folder. Papers from stash - unknown.

I have entered this is the following Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Punch It ( 2nd entry)
Stampin' For The Weekend - Sketch ItCreative Card Crew - Challenge 43 Punch It
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 87 - Lots of Layering
Cutie Stampers - Magnolia

Check out this fabulous Personalised stamp given to the Magnolia Down Under Store DT's for Christmas Presents from our fabulous Boss Lady Kellie, I had admired them on  some of the Magnolia DT's cards  but was not game to ask where they came from. Kellie now stocks them in her wonderful store, Magnolia Down Under, not just this one, but many different designs.

Wherever you are, near or far, wishing you a magical weekend.
