Un article particulier pour la réouverture de Notre Dame de Paris !

Nous avons tous en mémoire le tragique incendie qui détruisit partiellement la cathédrale parisienne en avril 2019. Des milliers d'artisans ont oeuvré ces cinq dernières années pour rebâtir, nettoyer, rénover, créer et rendre aux visiteurs et aux fidèles cette dame de plus de huit cents ans !

Merci aux généreux donateurs de 150 pays qui ont financé cette reconstruction.

A rather special article today, as Notre Dame de Paris has reopened!

We all remember the tragic fire that partially destroyed the Paris cathedral in April 2019. Thousands of craftsmen have worked over the last five years to rebuild, clean, renovate, create and return this eight-hundred-year-old lady to her visitors and worshippers!

Thank you to the generous donors from 150 countries who funded this reconstruction.

TOUR DE FRANCE 2024

Le Tour de France fait étape à Orléans, repos sur la journée de lundi 8 juillet et départ mardi midi. Nous sommes allés en tram sur les boulevards pour voir passer la caravane.

The "cycling race" Tour de France is in Orléans, some rest on Monday July 8th and the start of the 10th stage today. We went with the tramway in town to see the advertising caravan. 

First team to join the start podium : Alpecin Deceuninck  with M. Van Der Poel (on the right of the photo with a light jersey) the world champion.

Première équipe à se présenter sur le podium de départ : Alpecin Deceuninck avec le champion du monde Mathieu Van der Poel (en maillot clair à droite sur la photo) le petit fils de Raymond Poulidor.

Cela me donne l'occasion de vous parler de mon Tour de France 6, j'ai pris un peu de retard avec notre sortie angevine et cette semaine, entre le TdF, la flamme olympique et l'opération de JB, pas sûr que je serai prête pour la semaine prochaine. Je vous tiens au courant !

This gives me the opportunity to tell you about my Tour de France 6, I'm a bit behind schedule with our trip to Anjou and this week, between the TdF, the Olympic torch and DH's hand operation, I'm not sure I'll be ready for next week. I'll keep you posted!

I love to participate to this blog hop and make something special on Easter theme. I had this quilling kit in my drawers for a long time, why not trying to build a bell!

The paper strips are barely 3 mm wide and I want to be able to hang it so I couldn't glue it on a paper shape so the ornament is very fragile and as a first try it looks more like a dress than a bell! Whatever it's my Easter decoration.
