ISHW Weekend

This weekend is when we are suppose to hermit and stitch the weekend away and that is what i attend to do after a couple of errands.

I will be stitching on Matilda Hornbuckle by Notforgotten Farm.  It can be found in the new JCS 2013 Special Collector's Halloween issue.  You can also see a picture of the piece on Lori's blog.  If I finish the stitching on it, I will be starting in another piece from the same issue.

Here is what Matilda looks like so far.  I changed the threads to over-dyed threads and the fabric is a unknown piece from my stash.  I will list the conversions when I am done.

Off to pick up the house and do a few other things and then since it is suppose to be another hot one, I am going to stitch.

Until next time

IHSW Weekend

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. We did, even though it was pretty cold.

Since it was so cold, I got lots of stitching done. I started and finished a small piece from The Sampler Girl. Below you will see Winter Wind. I used a piece of scrap 40ct fabric and CC and GAST. It was a fun piece to stitch.

The kids don't have school today because if Martin Luther King Dat so we are off to clean the playroom. I hope everyone gets lots of stitching in this week.

Until Next Time

Winner & A Finsh from ISHW Weekend

Good Evening all!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  Ours was really good.  Got alot of things done and also got in alot of stitching.

First the winner from my giveaway in a previous post.  It is for the chart Glory House and leftover threads from Cheesie & Me.  Drumroll please................................................the winner is Patty C.  I put the numbers into the random generator and it picked #1.  Congratulations Patty!  I just sent you an email.

This past weekend was ISHW and instead of stitching on something already started, I just had to stitch up the new free chart from Prairie Schooler.  I love Halloween and this was just to cool not to stitch up.  I stitched it on a piece of 40ct. linen from my stash and used the recommended floss.  I love stitching Prairie Schooler Designs.  I did start her new one, Knock, Knock and I will share progress of it on my next post.
Designer:  Prairie Schooler
Chart:  New free chart Boo
Fabric:  piece of 40ct. linen from stash

ISHW

Hi All!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  It was very nice here, except for the cool weather.  Where is the warm weather?  I am ready for warmth.

This was ISHW, but I didn't get as much stitching done as I would of liked.  I was to busy organizing my craft area and cleaning out our storage are in our basement.  Hopefully next ISHW I will get more stitching time.

Here is where I was before the start of ISHW.  Plum Street Samplers Halloween Greetings from the JCS 2010 Annual Halloween Magazine.  I am stitching it on 36ct. vintage sand dune edinburgh linen from Lakeside Linens.  I am using Crescent Colours and DMC floss.
Here is where I am after ISHW.  As you can see I finished up the second sheep, added the wording, finished the fencing at the bottom and started on the third sheep.  It is hard to tell, but the third sheep is stitched with Crescent Colours Garden Trellis.  I am really loving this piece.  I had hoped to finish it up this weekend, but it was not to be, here is hoping I can finish it up tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
Hope everyone got lots of stitching done this last weekend and will have a very productive week.  I have lots to do and not enough time to do it.  I need a fairy godmother to come and help me!  I better get off this computer and go get some stuff done.

Until Next Time
Happy Stitching
