Clean & Simple Birthday Card

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a Clean and Simple (CAS) Birthday card.

I am using the punch from the Floral Essence Bundle, the Perennial Flower Punch.

I punched four flowers using a piece of DSP from the Bird Ballad pack.
I used my bone folder and curled the flower petals.
I punched one set of petals using a piece of green DSP from the same pack for leaves.
I glued my flower peals together and added the leaves behind.
I used a Perennial Essence Flower Center in the middle of the DSP flower.

I die cut a circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to mount my flower on.
I added it to the circle with a couple of dimensionals.

The base of the card is Petal Pink card stock.
I then used another piece of Petal Pink and embossed with the Subtle EF.
I matted it with a piece of Whisper White card stock and
glued it to the base.
My circle with flower is added to the card with dimensionals as well.

My sentiment comes from the Perennial Birthday set.
I used the Tailored Tag punch for the sentiment and added it
to the circle with more dimensionals.

I finished with a few rhinestones.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.

Freshly Made Sketch.....Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches Blog.

Even though I am in full on Christmas card making mode here right now I couldn't let the fall pass by without making one of my punched pumpkins.  When I saw this sketch I knew it needed a pumpkin. :)

I keep it very CAS.

The base is Chocolate Chip card stock and then a layer of Rustic Cream card stock. The DSP  on my card is all from the Stampin Up Sweater Weather pack.
I used my wide oval punch for the pumpkin. I added some Old Olive leaves and stem. The "Happy Thanksgiving" is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I finished it off with a twine bow and two basic pearls.

That's all from me today, thanks for stopping by!

SUO....Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today's card was made using the challenge this week on the SU-Only Challenges Blog, which is Elegant Autumn.
You all know how much I love to make punched pumpkins at this time of the year and so I decided to try and make an "elegant" card using one. I started with a base of the Stampin Up Early Espresso Core'dinations     card stock. The next layer is very vanilla and then another layer of the early espresso core'dinations card stock that I embossed with the Lacy Brocade EF and then sanded with the SU sanding block. Love the look, so pretty and so vintage looking.
I then die cut with the lattice die and  more very vanilla card stock the lattice piece. It is attached to the base with some dimesionals, cut down to fir under the strips of the lattice.

The leaves are from the Stampin Up French Foliage stamp set. I stamped with early espresso ink onto some so saffron card stock and then cut them out with my paper snips. I then sponged the leaves with pumpkin pie, cajun craze and riding hood red ink.
The pumpkin is made using the wide oval punch and the edges of  them are sponged with cajun craze ink.
The little sunflower is made with one of the flowers from the Boho Blossom punch and the center is the small circle that comes in the Itty Bitty Punch pack.
I hand cut the stem and the leaves are from the bird punch. I then curled a small strip of card stock around my piercing tool for the curl.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I hand cut the "v" shape in the ends and curled it a bit before adding it to the pumpkin.

Well, that is all from me today, Thanks for stopping by and

Punched Kitty treat bag

Good Monday Morning Peeps!!! Happy Labor Day to all my American friends!

Today I have a fun and super cute little punched kitty Halloween treat bag! I saw the kitty instructions HERE! Around our house we all love kitties, and this one is no exception! He is all dressed in black for Halloween! I couldn't resist putting a big ol full moon behind him, I punched it with crushed curry with my 1-3/4 inch circle punch and sponged the edges with Cajun craze ink. I added the kitty to the moon with some dimensionals. The kitty is made from punches, the head is the large oval punched in black and slide back into the punch and punching off a bit more of the oval. The body is the word window that is trimmed up the side to a pint at the top. The legs and feet are punched hearts from the heart to heart punch. The collar is the slot punch and the eyes are 1/2 inch circles cut flat on one side. The ears are also made from up side down hearts. the eye pupils are tiny strips of old olive. I made my tail a bit different from the original, I used my oval punch and the negative from another cut oval.

My sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and is stamped onto a scrap of Cajun Craze card stock with black stazon and punched out with the word window punch. The topper is made with the top note die in basic black and the DS paper is from the Wicked Fun Speciality paper.

Well, that is all from me today, Thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Frankie Tube Treat Holder

Good Thursday Morning Peeps!!

Today I am back with another treat holder made with the awesome little tutorial found here on Kim's blog Paper Punch Addiction.

This is actually the first one I made and I wasn't really pleased with it, but the more I look at it the more it grows on me. He is kinda funny looking, but Frankie IS kinda funny looking anyway. I used kiwi kiss card stock for main part of Frankie and his hair is made from some lovely lilac card stock. I just hand cut his hair. I used some circle punches to build the eyes, 3/4 and 1 inch circles. I used the My Way Punch for the arrows at his neck and I hand drew in his mouth and scar. The nose was created with the word window punch.

Well, that is it from me today, Thanks for coming by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Hello fall Basket Card

Hello Peeps!! This is my second post today!! I know!!!

I am super excited to share this basket card with you. Do you remember my Americana Bluebirds card? See it HERE! Right after making it, I had the idea for this card, a similar card with a pumpkin and blackbirds for the fall. I finally finished it up and wanted to share with you all!!

I made my base to look like a basket by weaving chocolate chip strips of card stock and attaching to the Shara sand base. I added some brads across the top and a handle to mimic the basket feel I was going for. This card could not go into an envelope or be mailed but would instead have to be hand delivered or attached to a fall gift basket.

I made the pumpkin by using my coluzzle. I cut three ovals out of pumpkin pie card stock and sponged the edges with pumpkin and tangerine tango ink. The birds are punches, the 1-3/8 inch circle, the photo corner, the wing from the two step bird punch, small circle punches for the eyes. The black birds are sponged on the edges with whisper white craft ink. The top of the pumpkin is a hand cut piece of old olive and is sponged with old olive ink. I made the curly pieces with slivers of old olive card stock that I wrapped around the end of my piercing tool. I cut the letters with my naturally serif sizzix alphabet strip.

Well, I hope you like it and if you have any questions. please shot me an e-mail. Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
