Friends Forever

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I have a fun card to share made using the Under My Umbrella Bundle.

This is a fun set with a matching punch!

I made this a couple of weeks back for a private color challenge that I participate in with several fellow demos.

We must use at least three of the colors. On this one I believe I managed to get all the colors listed on my card.

The DSP is from the Please as Punch pack and is perfect for the umbrella set.

I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies as well.

My sentiment is stamped with Versmark onto some Night of Navy card stock and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.
If you would like to buy the products for yourself,
I would be very happy for you to shop with me.

Hello Fun Fold

Happy Thursday Peeps

Today's card share is a fun Double or maybe I should say Triple Fold Card.

Yesterday I saw a video on a really cute fun fold card and
thought I would give it a try.
I, of course, had to change it up some and I added my front to a regular top fold
card making mine a Triple Fun Fold.

I used Calypso Coral for my base and all the DSP on here is from the
Bird Ballad Designer Series pack.

On the front I used some flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set along with
the Stitched Nested Label Dies that come in the bundle to make
my sentiment piece.
The "Hello" is stamped with Black Memento ink onto Whisper White card
stock and used the dies to cut it out along with the size up die using Pool Party card stock.

I colored the flowers with Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz inks.

The next fold is made using Pool Party card stock and another
piece of the Bird Ballad Designer Paper.
I strategically cut my square to get the flowers and bird image I wanted.

Next up is the inside of the first two folds.
I stamped another sentiment from the Free As A Bird Set with
Black Memento ink and added a couple more flowers and leaves.

This is mounted to the Calypso Coral Top Fold Card base.

This is the inside of the card.

I added more DSP on the inside at the top and botom.
I hen decoraed he inside with a couple more flowers and leaves.

All the flowers got rhinestone centers and I also added a small white twine bow to the front.

I had fun making this one, may try another one soon.
How about you? You wan to make one?
Everything you need is listed below and
linked to my online store.
I would love to be your demonstrator,
let me know if you need anything.

Thanks so much!

Vicki

I Couldn't Have Picked A Better Friend

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Time for a new challenge at SUO Challenges.

This week it is all about Spring.

Nothing says Spring more than flowers, and you know I love making flowery cards.

I used the sketch this week at Fab Friday for my card.

I used the Pop of Petals stamp set for my flowers.
I stamped three of each color using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Melon Mambo.
There is a matching punch with his set but after punching out a couple i ended up fussy cutting as the punch left to much of white around my flowers for the flowers I was creating.

I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzazz ink and cut them out as well.
My flowers are mounted to a piece of whisper white that I die cut with one of the stitched rectangle dies.
My sentiment is from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set.

I found a piece of the black and white gingham paper from the Butterfly gala pack in my scrap pile, I thought I had used it all. But after this card I only have a couple of tiny pieces left.

The flowers and the Sentiment piece are both added to the card with dimensionals.

I used a piece of Melon Mambo card stock for my banner piece. I die cut a piece of whisper white with a edge die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies to layer behind the Melon Mambo banner.

I fussy cut out a pretty little butterfly from the Butterfly Gala DSP and added it just under the flowers.

Be sure and head over to the SUO Challenges Blog, we would
love to have you join us.

Thanks for coming by today.

SU Only.....Congratulations

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the challenge at SUO Challenge Blog.

It was a fairly easy challenge: Butterflies.

Well, after just now going back and re reading the challenge it says to make the Butterfly the highlight, so maybe my card does not meet that qualification. I guess the flower is more the highlight of my card :/

I started my card using a base of  Smoky Slate card stock.
Next I layered a piece of the Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper with some Black Card stock and cut the end into a banner shape.

The flower is from the Stampin Up You've Got This.
I stamped with Black Stazon onto some Thick Whisper White and colored with my Aqua Painter.

I colored with Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Old Olive ink. I then fussy cut out the flower and added some dimensionals to the back.

I scrunched up some of the Silver Metallic thread and added it to the black paper with some glue dots. I really haven't got the hang of how to do that exactly.

I then added the flower. The sentiment is from  the Zoo babies stamp set.

I added a bit of DSP from the Neutrals pack punched with my small banner punch and then stamped a little butterfly and cut it out and added it on the banner,
I put a couple of small pearls down the center of the butterfly and added a bit more silver metallic to the butterfly for his antennas.

Well, that is all from me today! Thanks for stopping by

Crazy 4 Challenges......thankful for friends

Happy Saturday Peeps!!!

It is time for another new challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges.

This is the 5th Saturday of the month and the final challenge for this month is:

School is about out and vacations are either planned or being planned. What would be your ideal vacation spot? Beach, mountains, backyard? Whatever your destination is, let's create a card or project using it as your inspiration.

I decide to go with a time not a place for my vacation themed card.
I love fall so that was easy and this fall we are planning a trip back east to visit some friends, some friends I am privileged to know and whom I am thankful for.
So that is the inspiration for my vacation card.
I started by creating my fall tree, using the awesome Sheltering Tree stamp set.
I stamped the tree with Early Espresso ink onto some whisper white card stock. I then used
Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Real Red for the leaves.

The ground is stamped with Daffodil delight and then I "sprinkled" some leaves around the ground with the same above colors.
I stamped the rake and swing with Early Espresso ink as well.
The sentiment is a combo of a couple of stamps in this set. I just masked off and stamped the words I wanted, which is so easy with the photopolymer clear sets.
I rounded all the corners using the envelope punch board.
The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and then a layer of white and some paper from the Neutrals DSP stack.
The small little yellow flags come from the Cherry on Top stack.
I tied some white twine around the bottom and added a small punched flower from the Itty Bitty pack and a pearl to the center.

Can't wait to see beautiful PA in the fall, Wendy this card is for you!!!

Be sure and head over to the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog to be inspired by the rest of the team!!!

Happy Stampin!!

Freshly Made Sketches........Hello

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week on

I pulled out a fave set, Stippled Blossoms, sadly this set is on the retiring list. Sorry to see it go, but I am hoping the new catalog will have a lot of new sets that I love, fingers crossed.
Yesterday Hubby and I spent some time going to some flea markets, which always gets my primitive bone fired up!
This time I was looking for garden inspiration, things to use and repurpose in my new flower garden that I am doing this year.
I have several ideas, we will see if my vision works out like I am hoping.
Anyway when I sit down to make my card I had gardening on my mind and my love for primitive as well
I wanted to make something to echo those thoughts.
Woodgrain Background and roses, what could be better?

The woodgrain BG is stamped on Crumb Cake card stock with Crumb Cake ink, I believe, This is a piece I had stamped when I had my friends BG stamp here, so that was easy.
The flowers are Blushing Bride and Calypso Coral ink, the leaves are Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi.
I attached the flowers to a white piece with some foam tape and then tucked the leaves around here and there. I matted this piece with some Early Espresso card stock.
My strips across the bottom are two sizes of more Early Espresso card stock,
I stamped the "hello" sentiment with versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
The sentiment is from the Hello December stamp set and I just masked off the December portion.
I finished it off with a few enamel dots.
Thanks for coming by today.

Sweet Sunday.....Best Friends are the Best Gift

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I pulled out my new MFT Pure Innocence stamp called "Big Bear Hugs".
I have always been a big fan of the Pure Innocence line and this one is super cute!!

I went with my purple color theme again, (Sorry about that, I will put it away soon, I promise.)
I stamped the image with black memento ink onto some white card stock and colored it with my copic markers. I then die cut the circle with the pierced circle die-namics.
The square is made up of Concord Crush card stock matted with white. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with some white embossing powder.

The base of the card is white card stock and then a layer of Concord Crush. I used a circle stencil
and some white craft ink to make the BG. I added a strip of DSP across the top and then mounted the main image piece to the base with foam tape. The circle is mounted to the square with foam tape as well.
I die cut the small banners with white card stock and tucked them in behind the square panel.
I finished off with a few sequins and a couple of small stars.

So let's see what the rest of the girls did with this sweet sketch:

Spring Tulips

Happy Saturday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made using the Spring Tulips stamp set by MFT.
I started out to use the Color Challenge this week on the MFT Card Challenge Blog.

The colors to use were:

I don't have the exact colors and was going to use close to what I have. I then just got carried away while coloring my tulips and used a couple of colors not included in the challenge, so do I link it up over there or not? :/
I do like how the colors looked when coloring on the Kraft card stock. I stamped and masked and stamped again getting three sets of tulips using my black memento ink. I then colored with my copic markers.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake and the a layer of basic black and then the main panel is more crumb cake card stock.
I used one of the sentiments in the Spring Tulip set for my card. I stamped with ersmark and then embossed with white embossing powder.

I then stamped a few more tulips onto some white card stock and colored them again with my copic markers.

By this time into my coloring I had totally forgot the color challenge colors and was just coloring some pretty tulips.
I completely colored in the BG as well. Another embossed sentiment  and a few sequins to complete this card.

So which is your favorite?
Thanks for stopping by today!

Crazy 4 Challenges......Pawsitvley Awesome

Happy Monday Peeps!!

The challenge this week on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog was a sketch challenge and I was anxious to play along.

I ordered this stamp from MFT awhile back and just got it, unfortunately it was traveling around the US for about two weeks before it finally arrived at my door on Friday. I had to use it right away!
It is another adorable Birdie Brown set called "You have my heart".
I have been on a bit of a purple kick with my last few cards, once I got out the Concord Crush I could not stop using it.
Anyway I stamped one of the sweet little images from the set onto some white card stock using some Memento Black ink and colored with my copic markers.

The base of the card is Concord Crush and then a layer of white. I again used some DSP from the retired in color pack.
The sentiment is from the same set and is stamped with black ink.
I used my Sizzix Sizzlet Fashionable Heart die to make the two little hearts and then I added three sequins at the top for that element in the sketch.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by!

MFT....SOMEBUNNY

Happy Saturday Peeps!
Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch challenge this week on the MFT Challenge Blog.

I am in LOVE with this awesome stamp set!
SOMEBUNNY fromMFT is a Birdie Brown Set. I love all her sets.

I have made a shaker card using this set I will show you later next week.
I think this bunny shown from the back is my favorite in the set and it looks perfect with the little wagon of flowers.
I die cut the circle and then stamped the bunny and wagon using Memento Black ink. I then colored with my copic markers. I added all the tiny little hearts all around. They are punched from a SU border punch.

The DSP I used are both from retired SU packs. I hand cut my wave and added it over the dotted BG.
I rounded the top corners using the corner rounder on my envelope punch board.
The sentiment is stamped with Memento Black ink and was super easy to line up since there was already lines on the DSP.
I finished this up with a few iridescent sequins and few small rhinestones in the flower centers.
I am sure you willbe seeing more of this card in the future, it will be sweet for Easter.  I am thinking some tags for Easter goodies!

FMS.....I'm All Ears

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I wanted to use this cute little Pure Innocence stamp
called I'm All Ears that I was gifted by my sweet friend Karen Giron.
I have had it for quite some time and have never inked it, so it was about time.
I stamped it onto some white card stock with black memento ink and colored with my copic markers. I paper pieced the dress and bow.

The base of the card is some retired Concord Crush card stock.
I followed that with some whisper white and then a layer of Wisteria Wonder.
The DSP is from a retired in color pad.
I fussy cut out the little girl and mounted her onto the circle frame with some foam tape.
The sentiment is from the same PI set. I finished it up with some iridescent sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Another Sweet Sunday........Hay There

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

I am popping in here with another card I made using this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!

I made two cards this week and could not decide which one to use. For this one I used the MFT Pure Innocence Farmer Girl. Isn't she cute?
I stamped her onto some Confetti Cream card stock with Memento Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers.
The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and I used some retired SU DSP.

I matted the main image with Island Indigo card stock.

The sentiment is from the same little PI set and I used one of the SU Word Bubble dies to cut it out.
I added a few sequins and rhinestones to finish it up.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Sunday.........Hello

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I flipped my sketch as you can see, cos I wanted to use this cute little Penny Black Mouse stamp I got recently.

I stamped the image with black stazon onto some Confetti Cream card stock and colored it using my water brush and ink pads.
I kept it very clean and simple with this card as I was in a bit of a rush and haven't been feeling the best this week.

So let's see what the rest of the girls did with this sweet sketch:

Sweet Sunday......Hello, you

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

It is Sweet Sunday Sketch Day

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I LOVE this sketch and had such fun putting this card together. It did not come out like I had imagined when I sit down to make it, I was going to use another stamp for the flowers but ended up going with these and I really like them.
I actually used several sets on this card, which I don't tend to do much I generally use only one or two per card but on this one I used four.
I started out with a base of Perfect Plum card stock and then a layer of PTI white and the DSP is some from an old Subtles paper pack.

I used a paper doily for my circle element and added a layer of plum cut with my scallop nesties and then a circle of white for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Regarding Dahlias stamp set and I stamped with black. The flowers are from the Flower Shop and Petite Petals stamp sets. I stamped with Perfect plum and cut them out and layered them around the circle using some dimesionals. The leaves are from the Gifts of Kindness stamp set and are stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink and cut out and tucked around the flowers.
The flags are more white that I embossed with the Woodgrain EF. I added some rhinestones to the flower centers to finish it off.

Now let's see what the rest of the girls did with this fun little sketch:

Color Challenge.......Hello, You

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card i made using the color challenge this week on SplitcoastStampers.

Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, and Primrose Petals. Such a pretty color combo. I pulled out my single Stampin Up stamp called "People Like You". I love to color this fun flower stamp.
I used my aqua brush and Pumpkin pie and Primrose petals to color the flowers.
I also used a bit of crushed curry in the middle of the flowers and some pear pizzazz on the stems.

I used some rustic cream card stock for my base and also for the image. I stamped with black stazon to water color.
I decided to use a different sentiment than the one on the stamp so I pulled out my "Regarding Dahlias" stamp set for this sentiment. I then used the Decorative Label Punch to punch out the sentiment and then two other punches with Pumpkin Pie card stock and matted the back. I then used some dimensionals to add the sentiment.
The main image is matted with Basic Gray and Pumpkin Pie card stock. I then mounted this piece with some dimensionals to the base at an angle. I finished it up with a few sticky back gold pearls in the corner and under the sentiment.
I wanted to keep it fairly simple for easy mailing.

Sweet Sunday.......Sunshine

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

It is Sweet Sunday Sketch Day

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us today:

I have seen these cute sun and clouds around blogland made with the new Stampin Up banner punch and Word Bubble Framelits and I wanted to make one for my card.I thought this layout would be great for it.

The base of my card is Coastal Cabana card stock and then a layer of rustic cream and then the DSP is from the Retro Fresh pack.

I used one of the Word Bubbles for my clouds and then embossed with the Decorative Dots EF which is from the SAB catalog. The sentiment is also from the SAB catalog, it is called "See Ya Later".
The sun is made using my 1-1/2 inch circlepunch and the rays are the cute little Banner Punch.
I added two more banners to the ends of my sentiment and finished it all off with a few silver pearls.

Let's see what the rest of the girls did with this fun little sketch:
