"Easter is perfect for this challenge!

The purses are die cu using Balmy Blue card stock.

I used the Sending Flowers Die for the flowers. I die cut with Granny Apple Green and then die cut
the flower heads with Poppu Parade and Daffodil Delight.

The bunny is from the Welcome Easter stamp set and is stamped on thick whisper white card stock
with black stazon ink.
I watercolored using my  basic gray ink pad and Aqua Painter.
i used Flirty Flamingo for the inside of the ears and feet pads.

The sentiment is stamped with Poppy Parade ink and die cut with a die from the Sending Flowers die as well.

Happy Happy Everything

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using a color challenge .

Our colors were Granny Apple Green, Petal Pink, Whisper White Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay
Pick a minimum of three.
I used all colors listed but he Bermuda Bay.

I am obsessed with the Timeless Tulip Bundle.
I can't seem to put it away.

I stamped several Tulips using Petal Pink and leaves using Granny Apple Green.
I used the matching punch to cut them out.
I mounted with dimensionals my tulips onto a circle of Crumb Cake card stock.
I added the leaves in around the flowers and glued in place.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake and the DSP is from the Brights 6x6 pack.
I added a stitched scallop strip using a die from the Stitched Be Mine dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the same set with Black Memento ink onto Whisper White card stock.

I finished up with a few pink rhinestones from the Noble Peacock pack
and a small white twine bow.

Creative Challenge......Easter Treats

Happy Friday Peeps!

My friend Wendy at WeeBeeStampin4Fun and I
decided to resurrect our Creative Challenges.
I laid down the first challenge of Easter Treats.

When I sit down to work on my Easter Treat Challenge
I literally had NO ideas.
I remembered a few years back I had a pattern for a candy dispenser, but I could no longer find it, I suspect it died on my old laptop....lol!
So I went on a search for one and found this super easy tutorial
and with a couple of modifications  I made mine.
I made four using Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Grapefruit Grove and Daffodil Delight card stock.
I used the Gingham Gala DSP. to decorate each one.

I used the Fable Friends stamp set and stamped the precious little bunny 4 times onto thick whisper white card stock. I colored each one with ink to coordinate with the paper.
I die cut the oval the bunny is mounted on from the Wonderful Floral Framelits.

I added the Easter Greeting sentiment at the top along with some ribbon looped through the lid.
I finished each with matching sticky sequins and a pearl.

Then when I was getting my candy to fill my dispensers I found the cute
Ghiradelli Bunnies and Eggs.
So I whipped up these:

Pattern found  HERE.

I used the same Greeting on these from the Fable Friends and the grass image is from that set too.
The flowers and leaves come from the Beautiful Bunch stamp set.

Now head over to Wendy's Blog to see what wonderful Treats she whipped up!

Thanks for coming by!

Easter Greetings

Hello Peeps!!!

Over at Sunday Stamps they have a great sketch challenge
to celebrate their 200th challenge.

I pulled out the amazing Fable Friends stamp set and got busy with this sketch.

The base of my card is thick whisper white and then I used another layer
of white that I matted with Daffodil Delight card stock

I used a piece of DSP from the Gingham Gala pack on the side. I then die cut
the trellis with leaves in white. This die is so nice, it comes from the Wonderful Floral Framelits.
I also die cut the piece that my bunny is mounted on with white. It also comes from the Wonderful Floral Framelits.

I stamped my rabbit with Black Stazon on thick whisper white.
I colored her with just a bit of Flirty Flamingo in the ears and Daffodil Delight for her little jacket.
I used my light gray marker for a bit of shading.
I then fussy cut her out and added it to my die cut piece with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Fable Friends set and is stamped with Memento Black ink.

I finished up with a few litle sequins and rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Water Colored Happy Easter

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!

Yesterday I was not feeling the best and I went into my bedroom to lay down for a bit but I was restless and it did not last long. I was up and at my craft desk fairly quickly and decided I would color.

I was inspired by Rita Wright and the pics she has been posting on Instagram to pull out this set. It is the Stampin Up Indescribable Gift set. I love this flower and decided I would try and watercolor with my distress inks.
I stamped the image with Black Stazon onto some water color paper and begin to color.
I squished some Picked Raspberry ink onto an acrylic block and used my water brush to color.
I used Mowed Lawn for the leaves and for the branch I used some Vintage Photo.

I used my heat gun to dry the flower before starting the background.
I used Salty Ocean and Picked Raspberry for the Background.
I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink and added a few sequins to finish it up.
I trimmed the piece down a bit and added it to my white card base.

I am linking this card to a couple of challenges one is the CASology Spring Challenge

and

The Paper Players Tic Tac Toe

I used the bottom line, Flowers, any shade of Pink and Polka Dots, that is if you can count my dots around my flower as polka dots. :)

Freshly Made Sketches......Somebunny

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.
Actually I am just under the wire getting this one done to link this week.

Here is the fun sketch:

I decided to make a Easter card and use my MFT Somebunny stamp set. I love this set and those bunnies......Adorbs!!

I stamped the bunny and wagon onto some white card stock with Memento black ink and colored with my copic markers. I made my little bunny a pretty gray this time, isn't she cute?

The base of the card is Wisteria Wonder and then a layer of white that I die cut with one of the dies from the MFT Blueprints die-namics #20, I just love that scalloped rectanbgle.
I then cut a layer of DSP, it is from a retired SU pack, can't think of the name, the DSP is cut with another die from a different Blueprints #13.
The Somebunny sentiment along with the "Wishes You" are from the Somebunny stamp set.
My Happy Easter comes from a Lawn Fawn set.
I added a die cut sun and a few enamel dots to finish it up!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Easter Treat Fabric Purses

Happy Friday peeps!!!

Popping in here quickly to share some cute little Easter treat purses I made.

I used the Stampin Up purse die to make these little cuties.

I started with the Stampin Up Adhesive sheets and covered some Pink Pirouette card stock.
I then peeled off the backing and added my fabric, making a layer of card stock and fabric stuck together to run through my Big Shot with the die.

I cut out ten of these little purses.

I put them together using some score tape. The handles are put on with silver brads.

I then dug out these long ago retired flower brads from my stash and used them to decorate the fronts.
I added a small pearl to the flower center. I used crystal effects to put the pearls onto the brad. They are sticky back but I wanted to make sure the pearl did not fall off.

I then dug through all my ribbon and found this retired pink and yellow to match my brads and added a bow to the handle. Simple, easy peasy and finished in no time.
I think they turned out cute. I will add some chocolate to the purse and have some cute little Easter treats for some lucky girls!

Curtain Call.......Happy Easter

Happy Monday Peeps!

Today I am sharing card I made using the challenge Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.

I started by making my BG piece. I am obsessed with this technique. I used some water color paper and distressed inks. The colors I used are Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. I used lots of water to keep these colors very pastel. I love the look.

The main image are some stamps from Lawn Fawn called Eggsrta Special Day. I stamped the images onto somewhite card stock and colored with my distress ink pads. I used my Wink of Stella pen to color with like using a blender pen. The image is so sparkly IRL.

I used the same colors as above plus Spiced Marmalade and Dusty Concord. The basket is painted with Stampin Up's Crumb Cake ink pad.
The bow and the egg with the jelly beans falling out of are stamped onto some scrap paper, colored, cut out and added to the image with some foam tape.
The sentiment is stamped with the Peacock Feathers ink.
The image is matted with some Pretty In Pink card stock, the very last piece I could find. I need to find some more of this ASAP. I added the image to my water colored BG with more foam tape and tilted it slightly cos I love wonky panels!! :)
The base of the card is white and then a layer of pink card stock and then another layer of white.
I then added some bakers twine and a few iridescent sequins to finish it up!

Sweet Sunday.......You're Earresistible

Happy Sunday Peeps!!!

Time for another new Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Such a fun sketch this week, you know I am a big fan of tilted panels a;tho this one kinda gave
me fits when putting my card together. LOL!!

I wanted to use my new Lawn Fawn set called Eggstra Special Easter. I got the idea to make my chocolate bunnies from one I saw on the Lawn Fawn Blog.
I stamped the Bunnies with Versmark ink onto some Early Espresso card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. I colored the bows and ears with some colored pencils. I cut them out and set them aside to make up the rest of the card.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and then all the DSP is matted with Early Espresso card stock.
The DSP on here is from some retired SU packs.
The main panels is some retired bashful blue card stock that I embossed with another retired SU embossing folder. I hand cut some Pear Pizzazz card stock for the grass area.
The sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso ink onto some Crumb Cake card stock. I cut the end into a banner and curled it a bit. I attached it just under the bunnies.
I finished it up with a few gold sequins.
Now be sure an head over to the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge Blog to see all the amazing design teams creations with this fun sketch!

Sweet Sunday.....Happy Easter

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

It is Sweet Sunday Sketch Day

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I flipped the sketch.
I wanted to make another Easter card and I decided to use this fun, but retired, single stamp from Stampin Up called "Ears to You".
The DSP on here is from the Stampin Up Watercolor Wonder pack. I let the paper choice dictate my color scheme. The bunnies are stamped using Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Pistachio Pudding inks.
I stamped the image three times and cut out the bunnies and added them to the white panel with some foam tape.

The base of the card is white and then a layer of daffodil delight and then the DSP. The three strips are paper from the same pack and matted with white. I matted the main image piece with Pool Party.
The sentiment is also from a retired set called Everybunny and I stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe ink.

I used a punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack to make my tiny flowers I put three at the top and one at the bottom and added tiny pearls to the centers.
I finished off with pearls in the corners.

I was experimenting a bit with my pics, do you like the BG of these or is it too busy?

Now let's see what the rest of the girls did with this fun little sketch:

Easter Wishes

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made combining the Sketch Challenge and Color Challenge on SplitCoast.

The dessert option on the color challenge was to make an Easter card. I decided to pull out an old but favorite set called "A New Little Someone" and use the bunny for an Easter card.

I stamped the bunny onto some rustic white card stock and colored qith my aqua painter and ink pads. I used Sahara Sand, So Saffron and Baja Breeze all on the main image. The bunny was colored with the Sahara Sand and then I used So Saffron on the bow and pads and inside the ears a bit.
I then used some Baja around the outer edge of the Bunny.

The main image is matted with So Saffron and then the angled piece behind that is Sahara Sand card stock.
The DSP is from the Sweet sorbet pack.
The sentiment comes from the Abundant Hope stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by!

Color Challenge....Blessed Easter

Happy Wednesday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the color challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers.

This week is a Sweet Medley:

You could you pick 3 or more of the colors. I used Basic Black, Pistachio Pudding, Pool  and Summer Starfruit. Which I just now noticed is not pictured in the color graphic.

I decide to go Clean Simple with my card, I used the Blessed Easter single stamp from Stampin Up. I love those tulips. I stamped with black stazon and used my aqua painter to color. I used Summer Starfruit for the tulips, Pistachio Pudding for the leaves and added Pool Party around the flower.

The base is PTI white card stock and the DSP strip down the side is from the Sweet Sorbet paper pack. I added a strip of Basic Black down the edge of the main panel and rounded two corners with the Envelope Punch Board. I then mounted the main panel to the base with dimesionals I then added three small pearls under the sentiment and it is done.
Thanks for coming by and taking a look!

Easter Blessings

Happy Monday Peeps!

Yesterday I had some time to stamp and actually did!!! I was inspired by the color challenge this week on the Dynamic Duos Challenge Blog. The colors this week are Rich Razzleberry, Soft Sky and Pale Plum. I used those colors but added in some Old Olive for my leaves, so I am not linking this card over there, but I am loving the color combo!!

I knew that the Rich Razzleberry and Pale Plum (which is a retired color) would make some pretty Spring tulips. So I pulled out my Stampin Up Blessed Easter stamp and masked off the attached sentiment and decide to use this beautiful Easter Blessings single stamp from last year I believe. It is another single stamp from Stampin Up.
I stamped the tulips with black stazon ink onto some PTI white card stock and then colored with my aqua painter and ink pads.

I stamped the sentiment using Razzleberry ink and I colored the swirls with my Old Olive marker.
I added a few matching rhinesones and matted with Razzleberry and Plum card stock.

The base is Pale Plum followed by white and then a piece of Razzleberry that I embossed with a dot EF.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for all you kind comments and e-mails.
