Just for you - SNS June reveal

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last June Sparkle N' Sprinkle reveal post. Irit is here and
this time I used the same Cosmos Blooms set again, but in a totally different way.

Product list:
Stencils Art Anthology
 Zig Water colors

I stamped the flowers over vellum and color them with Zig water color markers.
I made two layers of textured backgrounds using Tonic Studios Glitter pastes and make a chipboard like die cut Tonic sentiment.
You can see the whole process in my step by step tutorial HERE in my own blog!

Be sure to leave a comment both here on this SNS blog post and then head over to my own blog  and leave a comment there as well for your chance to win a $20 gift card to SNS! One lucky winner will be chosen from one of the Designers' posts on the last day of each month. A comment must be left on both the SNS Blog and the Designer's post in order to qualify. The winner will be announced on the 3rd of the following month, both on the SNS Blog and on the SNS Facebook page.

Step by step tutorial:
1. Die cut the oval frame and put the oval part as a mask over the rectangle die cut card front as shown. Cover it with stencil and add Tonic Moon stone glitter paste over the stencil.

2. Die cut a smaller oval from vellum paper and stamp the blooms with VersaMark and heat emboss with black detail embossing powder.

3. Color the stamped blooms with Zig watercolor markers and arrange over the card as shown.

4. Make large black cardstock matting and cover the edges with the same stencil and Tonic Black Diamond glitter paste around. The blue die  cut piece is just a mask that keeps the white card space clean.

5. Die cut the sentiment several times and glue it one over another to make a chipboard like shape.White color should be on the top.All other colors are not so important as we don't see them.

.Cover the sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Daffodil embossing powder

.Add SNS Brushable glue over the yellow sentiment and sprinkle a bit of Black Ice glitter

Glue the sentiment over the card and mist a bit with yellow mist as shown.

@3: Altered Mixed Media Birthday canvas

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This altered canvas was made for my dearest 3 yo grand daughter (she is 4 now already, but who counts? ).
I made it for three web challenges for January.
The first one is 7Dots Use three colors challenge and I used their cardstock, stickers and tags to make this art piece.

The second one is More than Words and they asked for Birthday with Tags inspiration.
January Main Challenge

The last one is for Scrapki- Wyswaniowo and they asked for vellum. I used printed in gold vellum for a die cut and as a part of my cluster matting.

As you can see I used tons of stencils over the canvas and over the cardstock as a part of my design. Quite a few die cuts added interest to this canvas. I used just two colors of paints and mists to make it a good fit for one of the challenges and there are stamping over the matting pieces and as the main part of the mixed title. The stamps are from Magenta.
A few different mediums were also used to make this canvas, such as white crackle paste and peach pearl stencil paste together with mists and paints from different origins.

Same stamp- 4 ways with Sin City

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Sin City stamping tutorial.
This time I decided to make 4 ATC cards with the very same stamp set and very different techniques and to pick my favorite technique for the future use.
Here are all 4 ATC together.

Product list:
Sin City stamps: Dandelion Wishes with Butterflies

Other products:
White, black and Kraft cardstock
Vellum paper
Black pigmented ink
Clear, colorful and white embossing powder
Clear embossing ink
Heat gun
Mists
Gel Medium
Stencils
Texture paste
Gelatos
Acrylic paints
Crackle Glaze

 Step by step instructions:
1. Make two white cardstock ATC cards. Stamp with the same stamp over both cards. Use black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

2. Use large acrylic block and mist it with 3 or 4 different mists.

3. Wipe the stamped ATC card over the misted block.

4.  Stamp a few butterflies using  Clear embossing ink and heat emboss them with a mix of colorful embossing powders and glitters.
Hand cut the butterflies.

5. Glue a couple of hand cut vellum stamped butterflies over the first card. Use stencil to add Gel Medium over the card.

6. Stamp the small words with Sin City stamps and hand cut one to add over the first finished ATC card.
Ink the edges of the card with paint or ink.

7. Mist the second white cardstock stamped card with three different mists directly over the card.
As you can see we had a different background look with this technique.

8. Use another stencil to add Gel Medium over the second card.

 9. Glue the stamped vellum butterflies over the second card and add another stamped word.

10.Stamp  more images over black cardstock ATC card using clear embossing ink and white embossing powder.

11.Paint over the textured ATC card with Gelatos. Wipe the color with baby wipe and make kind of circles over the flowers.

12. Add some texture with stencil and white texture paste.

13. Ink the edges and glue two vellum butterflies. Glue the stamped words.

14. Stamp  in the same way as on ATC #3 over Kraft cardstock.

15. Paint over and around the stamped images with acrylic paints.

16. Add a thin layer of Crackle Glaze over the card. Let the glaze dry.

17. Glue a butterfly and the stamped words.

So here all 4 ATC are together and to say a truth- I am not sure if I like one of them more then another.
I think that black is my favorite, but as you know we all like different things.
So just go and try each and every technique!

BoBunny Mixed media Winter Wishes and Glass paint

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new BoBunny project.
This week I was challenged to make a  Mixed Media project with Winter Wishes collection and to add Pentart Glass paint.
So what should you use to combine glass paint and paper?  It sure should be a kind of something clear, even if it's not a real glass.
So this project was made with  clear acrylic album cover, but I made it to a wall deco project.

This is how this wall deco looks over the sheet of BoBunny patterned cardstock from this most adorable Winter Wishes collection.
I wanted to leave this decoration as clear and translucent as possible. So I didn't used any cardstock, but  vellum pieces only and added some layered chipboards, stickers and die cuts here and there.
I used hand cut vellum pieces as my front part background and added the main  Angel image sticker that was hand cut from the sticker rectangle.
The title was made with three different stickers and it says " Perfect Angel Wonderland".

And now let me show you the back side of this piece.
As you can see it was made with two components.
The outside  square of the cover was covered with BoBunny White Crackle paste.
First I used the Primer and then the Crackle component and you can see those gorgeous crackles around the cover.
Then I used Pentart  solvent based White Glass paint and I left some clear areas as I wanted parts of the piece  to stay translucent.
Finally- not seen here- I covered the  painted back with Pentart solvent based Glossy Varrnish.

Here you can see the layered chipboard clock that was added on the top of the project.
I used BoBunny delicious brads to fix the cord inside the pre-made holes (remember that this was originally  an album cover with holes for binding rings).
Some die cuts from Noteworthy pack were added near the chipboard clock.

The silver snowflakes were  made with a new Winter Fun stencil and my favorite BoBunny Silver glitter paste and believe me that shine and sparkle of this paste is even seen in the dark!

The trees were cut out from the gorgeous foiled vellum paper from  the same paper collection and glued with a bit of glaze.
I added some pink pearls over the trees just to add some color to the whole piece.

And here is another look at the brads that hold the cord.

I hope that you got some Winter inspiration from this deco piece and will try to make something similar with BoBunny delicious products.
