Steampunk tag - BoBunny Media post

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second July Media post made for BoBunny.
Most of you think that BoBunny is a company with most adorable. but quite cute products.
To show you your mistake I make dark, industrial and even Steampunk projects with BoBunny and Pentart products and this tag is a good example of all possibilities you get when  you have BoBunny cardstock, dies, stamps and mediums.
So this is my Love today Stempunk tag made with Double Dot BoBunny cardstocks, new dies,  stencil, copper transfers, leftover chipboards frame and a few Pentart mediums and paints.

My favorite medium on this piece is the Iron paste that I used over simple cardstock die cuts. Don't you think it looks like a real rusty iron? It is!

Love and Remember layout with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and today is my layout inspiration day here on BoBunny blog.
I was asked to use the Life in Color collection and to add Pentart Wax paste and I made a fancy multiphoto layout with a lot of die cutting, fussy cutting using quite a bit of Pentart and BoBunny Mixed Media products.
Life in Color collection is the most versatile of all new BoBunny collection.
It's vintage, but yet bright collection and I thought that it can work with wedding photos if the colors are right.
So I scrapped my daughter's September wedding photos as the sea view was just in a perfect color for this collection.

The whole layout was arranged as a wall of photos and I added all possible copper mediums to give it this vintage look.
Most of the photo frames were hand cut from patterned cardstock and some chipboard frames were between the cardstock ones for the dimension.
The title was made with a chipboard green frame and a chipboard Love  word and the frame was rubbed with Pentart Copper Wax Paste.
Lots of copper transfer pieces were added on the " white spaces" of the page, mostly on the left side of it.
Die cuts were made with BoBunny Royal new dies and each one was die cut at least 4-5 times.
Then I glued them one over another to make a thick, chipboard like, look.
The crowns were covered with BoBunny Copper Glitter paste.
The Key hole was painted with Pentart Liquid Metal Copper  paint.
The upper key was rubbed with Penart Wax Copper Paste.
So as you can see all of those die cuts are coppe, but the look  is totally different.

I also added one more key rubbed with copper wax on the bottom of the page. Another frame used here was the Layered chipboard frame.

I added stencilled Copeer Glitter paste over the photos  and the right side of the page.

Here is another look at copper transfers over the die cuts and the cardstock.

So with this delicious Life in Color collection you can scrap wedding too!
You don't really need to look for this classic white and black with pink and red collection.
Go for colors!
Add some metal self made embellishments. Enjoy the process of making the page that looks like a collage of frames.
Enjoy your BoBunny products in every possible way!

Big Birthday Wishes card with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second Two Paper Divas post for October.
This time it's a fancy, shabby card made with a huge Big Birthday Wishes sentiment that is must to have one!
As you can see the letters  are  bold and you can color them with whatever medium , but as lately I am in this " golden girl" style I painted them with gold pen and added gold  pearl glue over the dots.
All other products are from BoBunny Butterfly Kisses line.
really hope that you like my latest ' golden" style.

Be thankful loving yourself card with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new October post with Two Paper Divas inspiration.
This card was made in a trendy " add some gold" style and the TPD sentiment was stamped in gold too. This sentiment was made with a sentiment building new stamp set called "Be".This is the most perfect sentiment set to buy!
Pretty hard to see I need to say, but  the sentiment looks fabulous in a " real life".
I used BoBunny products from Butterfly Kisses line and added a lot of their foil transfer pieces over the card.  I hope you like it!

You make me happy card with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Honey Bee Stamps post.
This vintage style layered card was made with BoBunny Butterfly kisses paper collection and Honey Bee Stamp two of my most favorite stamp sets: Happy Everything and Color my World. I just made art journal kind of a sentiment using both stamp sets and arranged it over a multi layered card. The gold rub- ons are the most trendy right now and I misted the whole card with Tattered Angels golden mist too.

As usual, I post all Honey Bee projects @iritshalom2000 Instagram account and you are most welcome  to see it there and to follow me too.

Scrapmats June project Life page

My second Scrapmatts  project for today is my very first of this type. I actually made Project  Life page and I think that i like this format of crafting. As you know Project Life means flat, not too much things added other than paper and photos and Scrapmatts chipboards were just perfect to add over my self made journalling cards.

So this is " about me" travel page that tells some of our Latvia vacation story.
I added  a lot of rub- ons etc over the paper and photos, but almost each and every piece has a bit of Scrapmatts added over.

On this photo I made over the photo frame with the smallest String CircleS 04  chipboard that was painted into black to be seen.
On the next to this photo jorunalling card I added a few words froms Scrap words25 set.

The water lily gorgeous photo was a bit empty, so I painted the Leaf spray chipboard with glitter paint and heat embossing and added horisontally over the photo.

On this piece I made a saying with half and half: half rub- on and half Scrapmatts Journey word from Assorted words 04 set.

On this piece the words were added twice: on the top and on the bottom as a part of my general sentiment over this part of the layout. I used Scrap words 31  and Assorted words 04  set to make this piece.

Back to Scrap words 25 word that was added on this part of the project.

Sorry, my own photo has no chippies. So let it be!

And I really hope that you like my first attempt with Project Life. More to come!

Believe card with DV

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last Die- Versions post for October!
This time I made this Believe card  with just one new released die- but WHAT A DIE!
Just one single Angelic  die made the whole card  with a small portion of gold rub- ons and one puffy title sticker from PHP.

For this card I used this old (who knows how old) blue cardstock frame from my stash and added this gold cut from Angelic die inside the frame.
It looks fantastic over the solid black background.
Then I added a few gold rub- on stars and a sticker sentiment and this fine card was done.
This die is a TREASURE!
It can make the fancy card in seconds!

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!  Please be sure to check back to the DV Blog often for more great ideas on how to use your dies!  And please share with us what you make on the DV Facebook Page.

50 countries and counting: PHP lo

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Paper House Production new post for September!

Intro:
Our family members are well known "world travelers". Also when you live in Israel each vacation out of a country means flight ticket, we still manage to see at least 2-3 new countries each year. So far I visited 50 different countries (I mean countries, not USA states); my husband visited much more and we still have a lot in our wish list. So this layout is about me and my addiction to travel vacations. I gathered 6 photos from 5 countries we visited in 2014 and one from our home Israeli vacation and made this layout with a title borrowed from this well known TV show. As the world is round, I made all 6 photos round shaped and made my journaling with names of
all countries visited that year.

 Product list:
Patterned paper: Bright and Beautiful; Nature paper pad; At the lake-wood; Orchard- Paper house productions
Stickers: World Travel 3d stickers, Birds 3d stickers, Family Portrait 3d stickers,  Travel Cork stickers, Picture Perfect Cork stickers, Urban Snapshots Stickers ,Explore Snapshots stickers,  World Travel cardstock stickers- Paper House Productions

 White pen, white mist

Step by step instructions: 1. Cut the Bright and Beautiful green paper to 11*11'' size. Ink edges of  blue background paper  from Nature pad with blue ink. Adhere green paper over the blue one as shown (a bit diagonally).
2. Cut strips from At the lake-wood paper and Orchard paper and arrange them on the left of your page and vertically as shown.
3. Cut 6 photos with circle cutter or by hand using some plates as your templates and arrange them over the right page side as shown. Add rub- ons over two lower photos as shown.
4. Add all stickers over the photos. Make the title with blue chipboard alphas and connect it with glossy accents for the interest and to keep so called "self adhesive" alphas on their place.

5. Add hand written journaling over the brown wood vertical strip with white pen. Add a few white mist drops all over the page.

This is what awesome looks like lo

This lo was web published in SG Create May issue as a part of PHP Colorways showcase using Create May sketch.

Project name: This is what awesome looks like
By Irit Shalom
Page intro
Making baby page with non baby products can be a challenge. But if you have great photos and add some contrast colors to your black and white products, it can make a lovely nontraditional baby page. And with some gold accents it makes this page a very trendy one too. This is also an easy page to make. All you need are a couple of punches to make the border, circle cutter, pink/ light purple ink to ink the edges and some accent dots, such as enamel dots  and pearls. Everything else are just the gorgeous PHP Colorways Noir collection' products and my own lovely granddaughter's  perfect photos.

Die cuts: Noir Accent set by Paper House Productions
Rub- ons:

Class of 2013 lo

Sometimes the only graduation photos you have are full of background images that you don't like or need on your scrapbooking page. The only possible solution is to cut the silhouette and to glue the photos over the solid backgrounds as I did on this page. The second thing is the products we use for graduation projects. If you have the themed products it's very easy to use them. But with non themed products you should fit the colors and the papers to your graduates. My twin girl graduate is what I call "my blue girl": blue eyes, blue mood and even baby blue outfits in her past. So I used Colorways blue collection and added some symbols such as a huge door (that will open in her after college future).

Supply list

Die cuts: Die cuts Sapphire accent pack by Paper House Productions

Step by step instructions: 1. Cut the door image from Ornamentation cardstock, ink all strips with blue ink and then glue the two side  strips with the backside up over the Scales cardstock. Glue the cut out door in the middle as shown.
2. Cut out the graduate silhouette and glue it over the silver and blue card from the die cut accent pack. Punch the graduation hat circle and glue it over the image as a circled accent.
3. Make the foam letters title and add puffy "Explore Life" stickers as your sub title. Use rub- on saying over
