Best day layout with BoBunny Sunshine Bliss collection

 Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today with a lovely and sunny baby girl layout made with a new and just released Sunshine Bliss collection.
This collection is so versatile. You can do baby girl pages or projects and you can also use it  for bright summer crafts and there are darker green cardstock designs in this collection that are great fit even for some Mixed Media projects.
I decided to make a baby girl layout just because the photos I used was a great fit for the colors.
This is my adorable grand daughter Netta who was here just 16 months old. She is a lovely and smartest  almost 5 years old now,but these photos are so great to scrap again and again.
So I made this layout with cut out photo as the background was out of the color range and made double matting for the cut out photo part with stamps.
The layout is pretty dimensional, but not Mixed Media kind.
Also I stamped over the background, but it was for more interest , not for making it messy.
Actually I really love classic scrapbooking and I am really sorry that it's out of the trend right now.
I made double title using this collection's Thickers and one single layered chipboard.
Some so called " journalling" was added with Combo stickers.

I used Vicki Boutin Mixed Media inks  to color the bare chipboards " as is"- just  grab ink over the pieces and let them dry as these inks are pigmented. You can also heat dry the inks or add some clear embossing powder over the ink.
The Noteworthy die cut flowers were embellished with green pearls and more  jewels were added over the layout.

Here you can see all layers of this page, but it's still a flat scrapbooking page that can be kept in a clear pocket.

Kindness card with SNS

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last Sparkle N Sprinkle March 2018 reveal post.
This time I am going to share a card made with Bearded Iris stamp set and it's pretty simple card, but yet I made the Mixed Media background using gel medium, stencil and SNS glitter.
And as always- a full step by step tutorial is here in my blog for you to use.

Product list:
Cardstock BoBunny, Papericious
Stencil- Sweet Stamps
Dies- not branded
Black pearls

Starting  March  , SNS is doing something new.  Instead of a traditional blog hop, the designers will begin showcasing the new sets on the 5th of each month and one lucky winner of a $20 gift certificate to SNS will be chosen at the end of each month

In order to be eligible to win, you must comment on both the SNS Blog and a Mystery Designer's blog (will be checked for compliance).  The more often you leave comments on the Designers' blogs and on the SNS Blog, the better your chances of winning the prize

.And now you are imvited to my own blog to see the full step by step tutorial

Look at these close- ups to see the texture of the background and  the double layered iris image too.

 Step by step tutorial:

1.Die cut the cardstock piece and keep the lotus image as shown.

2. Use stencil and clear embossing paste over the die cut cardstock piece.

3. Sprinkle SNS Fire  Engine glitter over the wet embossing paste and now let it dry. Be patient as it can take time.

4.When dry cut the glittered piece and add it over the background cardstock as shown.

5.Stamp the Iris image using black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. First stamp on the back of yellow dotted cardstock - this will be our lower layer. Then stamp on thick white cardstock for the upper colored later layer.

6. Color the hand cut flower with Zig Watercolor markers.Add a few white lines with white pen.

7. Arrange the double layered iris as  shown using 3d foam glue.

8. Stamp the sentiment on the corner. Arrange the card and add a few black pearls.

Joy in little things wreath with BoBunny

This fancy paper wreath is my February BoBunny Media project.
Most of my crafty friends think that the best thing for being on DT is to get free products. For me being on DT is to be constantly challenged to make projects with products that I get and not always fit my style, way of life or even my religion. So to get this most gorgeous Faith collection and being Jewish takes me to challenge myself to another level of crafting: to use the products in the most general way and to show the customers that this collection can be used for a totally different purpose. And this is how this door wreath was born. Made for my tomorrow's Media post. Let's say that this was a whole day of crafting- tons of cardstock strips, tons of die cutting and arranging the flowers and yes, this fantastic collection is for EVERYONE!

It was made with the new, fabulous, just released collection named " Faith" and I made it to show that this collection can be used as a general one, not even connected to Bible or religion.
So I wrapped the foam base wreath with tons of 1/2'' hand cut cardstock pieces and then added all die cut flowers, leaves and finished with some chipboards and stickers.

BoBunny Mixed media Winter Wishes and Glass paint

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new BoBunny project.
This week I was challenged to make a  Mixed Media project with Winter Wishes collection and to add Pentart Glass paint.
So what should you use to combine glass paint and paper?  It sure should be a kind of something clear, even if it's not a real glass.
So this project was made with  clear acrylic album cover, but I made it to a wall deco project.

This is how this wall deco looks over the sheet of BoBunny patterned cardstock from this most adorable Winter Wishes collection.
I wanted to leave this decoration as clear and translucent as possible. So I didn't used any cardstock, but  vellum pieces only and added some layered chipboards, stickers and die cuts here and there.
I used hand cut vellum pieces as my front part background and added the main  Angel image sticker that was hand cut from the sticker rectangle.
The title was made with three different stickers and it says " Perfect Angel Wonderland".

And now let me show you the back side of this piece.
As you can see it was made with two components.
The outside  square of the cover was covered with BoBunny White Crackle paste.
First I used the Primer and then the Crackle component and you can see those gorgeous crackles around the cover.
Then I used Pentart  solvent based White Glass paint and I left some clear areas as I wanted parts of the piece  to stay translucent.
Finally- not seen here- I covered the  painted back with Pentart solvent based Glossy Varrnish.

Here you can see the layered chipboard clock that was added on the top of the project.
I used BoBunny delicious brads to fix the cord inside the pre-made holes (remember that this was originally  an album cover with holes for binding rings).
Some die cuts from Noteworthy pack were added near the chipboard clock.

The silver snowflakes were  made with a new Winter Fun stencil and my favorite BoBunny Silver glitter paste and believe me that shine and sparkle of this paste is even seen in the dark!

The trees were cut out from the gorgeous foiled vellum paper from  the same paper collection and glued with a bit of glaze.
I added some pink pearls over the trees just to add some color to the whole piece.

And here is another look at the brads that hold the cord.

I hope that you got some Winter inspiration from this deco piece and will try to make something similar with BoBunny delicious products.

Mixed media tags tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new tags tutorial!
This time I made a couple of fancy tags with Susan K Weckesser's Unity co- branded stamps, Clearsnap inks including Susan's gorgeous mini ColorBox Color Pop inks and the most gorgeous Makin's Clay casted in molds embellishemnts that were painted in gorgeous shimmery paints from Art Anthology.

So here is the full tutorial:
1. Stamp two tags from The Garden whatnot collection with black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

2. Hand cut the tags around the stamped images and made two copper glitter hand cut tags a bit bigger than the stamped tags.

3. Ink the stamped tags with a mix of Susan's Clearsnap ColorBox mini Color Pop inks in Kiss, Fresh and Ice colors. Just use them as a kind of watercolor over the tags.

4. And as a magic-  your tags are just done!
Glue the inked stamped tags over the copper glitter tags.
Tie the twine and glue Makin's Clay embellishments that were previously painted and add some pearls on the side.

I added a  couple of chipboard words to make those tags more artistic and not just  usual gift tags.
