Inspired by Stamping card tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my card tutorial made for Inspired by Stamping.
This card  (actually two ) were made with Gelly plate and stencil and as you will see you can make dozens of such cards in no time with the very same paints and one single stencil.

So here we fo to the tutorial:
1. Use a few matching fluid acrylics over Gelli Plate with your favorite stencil.
I used DecoArt Media line paints and Scrapmatts ....... stencil.

2. Make a few prints with those paints over the stencil and without it (the negative mono print). You can see how similar and yet different are those prints.

3. Die cut the piece that you would love as your card base. Try to find one with the light/empty space for the sentiment stamping.

4. Stamp the huge Inspired by Stamping sentiment using the new, just released stamp set named Just for you.My tip for this step:  you don't need to use clear embossing ink or the same color ink as your embossing powder. If you are going to use dark embossing powder, like black one here, you can use any good pigment ink color. I used dark blue and still the sentiment is black after all.
Also stamp some small stars from the same set  in the same way over the card.

5. Die cut the basic light blue card with Elizabeth Crafts die and add some white acrylic highlights with a think brush as shown.

Actually your card is all done. But to make it more interesting I added a chipboard saying on the corner and a piece of painted chipboard in the same shape as my stencil used here.

And how about second card? Remeber that we had a lot of background prints? So here are the card twins here and I hope you like them!

Dance tag with Gelli plate prints

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media tag post.
This double tag was made with Gelly Plate mono prints and Rubber Dance gorgeous Happy Dancing!stamps.I used Tattered Angels High Impact paints over Gelli Plate and as you can see the colors are just perfect!
The colors of my mono print were just perfect for plain black ink stamping of the dancers and I added the stamped word Dance on the top tag too.The background was stamped with Rubber Dance Flourishes around both tags.

Just keep swimming art card

This is my last month on Rubber Dance DT  and after two full years I made a few lovely pieces as my final projects.
So this is one of them.
The fish are stamped and so are flowers- RD stamps.
The inside circle is stencilled (Tando).
The outside stencil is from Tim Holtz.
The top part is gelly plate print and everything around are monoprints made with Gelli Plate and Tattered Angels High Impact paints.
This art piece was made from leftovers. I made some mono prints and this top was a piece I never used. The inside stencilled piece was an old tag I didn't like.
Even the fish was stamped over some left over cardstock pieces. So it fits perfectly to Mixed Media World challenge From scrap to masterpiece.

ARTplorations inspiration: Happiness tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last ARTplorations post!
This was a great and fun year to design for this lovely company and I thank Shery  for all great stencils and stamps  I got and will sure use in the future.
I love ARTplorations/STAMPlorations designs for their versatility and simplicity and I think that this was fantastic company to design for. But with all my other obligations I decided  not to stay for another term and to move to new unexpected adventures.
So here is my new Mixed Media tag made with new, just released Big Bloom Factory stamps and the  matching Big Bloom Factory Large stencil.
The backgrounds were made with Gelli Plate and DecoArt fluid acrylics. The stamped flowers are heat embossed with black powder and hand cut. Some of the flowers were stamped inside the stencil flower with the same heat embossing. I added this fantastic sentiment from Fond  Expressions 2 stamp set and I do wish you all Happiness!

I also enter this tag to some web challenges:

Delight in the little things art tag with ARTplorations

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Mixed Media tag made for ARTplorations blog.
As you all know each month we have a challenge for you and if you enter this challenge you can win some gorgeous ARTplorations goodies.
So this is October and it's already a Fall season. And then it's fall outside, I make fall projects inside, in my craft room.
This project was actually a bunch of mono prints I made over Gelli Plate with ARTplorations stencils, using Bubbles and Chevron Crazy stencils.
After I got a lot of prints I made this tag and die cut the printed leaves using a mix of leaves' dies.
The sentiment was stamped using the new, just released stamp set named Fond Expressions 2 .
Some ribbons were added and one single bare inked chipboard.  And yes, delight is in little things, such as a bit of falling rain. Just a wishful thought here in Israel.

Dream like there's no tomorrow: with ARTplorations

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media post made for ARTplorations !
This time I played with Gelli plate and Tattered Angels High Impact paints. Second time in my whole life play. But as your can see it works! And with ARTplorations gorgeous stencils it works even better.
So I used Bubbles stencil mostly and a bit of Chevron Crazy and made tons of monoprints with the same stencils, but with different paints and colors.
Then I arranged them into this grid over the black cardstock and connected the small pieces with the similar colors washi tape.
The chipboard title was heat embossed and misted and then glued over the middle of this fun art board.
Then, as I still had a lot of monoprints left, I die cut a few pieces to add to the board, such as butterflies and a leaves' swirl.  Just one tip for this new to gelli plates girl: try to find better acrylics than my cheap kids shop ones I have here. I waisted tons of good paper for like 6 nice prints.

Fly free art journal pages

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my monthly Rubber Dance post.
This time I am going to share two  new art journal pages pages with A LOT of Rubber Dance stamps.
This is a Spring time here and around this half of the world. So Spring and birds and flowers are the must when you are in this bright and high mood as I was when I made those art pages.
First the art journal pages were covered with liquid gesso and when it was dry I added some texture with Tando masks and texture paste. The flowers  were added mostly on the right side and the arrows on the left, but then I added some flowers on the right side and wiped them so you just can see the down colors.
I made a big piece of Gelli print paper with acrylic paints and then stamped RD A little birdie... stamps over this mono print paper and hand cut them to glue over the page.
The rows of birds were stamped on the top of the page with black permanent ink and a few feathers- not really, the pine tree branches from Pines Fir Yew set- were added here and there on the bottom.
Then I added a few stamped branches from the same stamp set  and this Dream it, Wish it , Do it sentiment from Think Again set.

As the last touch I added FLY FREE stamped on the top and painted inside.
The whole page was misted, painted and covered with a lot of gel medium.

I really like the colors of the finished page and those stamp sets are the MUST when you make your Spring art journal pages.

Stamps from Rubber Dance used on this project:
A little birdie set
 Pines fir yew set

Celebrate with new Die Versions dies

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is Irit here again with another new card made with a new, just released, cut- out Celebrate die and a new lovely font called  Spaghetti.
This time I tried to be more artistic and made this kind of a Mixed Media card with Gelli Plate print background and a mixed   sentiment, made with a cut out die and some die cut letters. I made it as
" Celebrate yourself" one . We often forgot to celebrate ourselves and just celebrate our family and friends. So once a year make it for yourself!
This time I used just a strip with cut out  sentiment and not the whole piece of paper to cover the background. I glued this strip with 3d foam dots and added this totally funky letters from the new font.

Want to make some similar cards? All new cut out dies and fonts are in Die Versions shop!
Just go and grab some!

CHF 3 MEDIUMS WEEK

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our new Cornish Heritage Farms challenge and this is the challenge I picked for you this time: use at least three different mediums  to make your card or other crafty project.
This is what I made this time: CHF delicious Asian #10 digital stamp was printed over the transparency and added to Gelli plate background made with a mix of acrylic paints, masks and a lot of mess.

My background card was inked with blue ink over the edges. The inside pink inked frame was die cut from a white thin chipboard.
The chipboard leaves and flowers were misted   to fit the frame color and I added some clear glitter glue over them for the interest.

So as you can see I used more then 3 mediums here and still this card is very flat and not too messy. Now it's your turn: make a project with CHF and link it so everyone can see it. And here is a list of all our designers for you to be inspired this time:
