Sweet Stamp Flowers challenge #117: Watch me grow lo

Hello my dear crafty friends!
I am here again with Spring Sweet Stamps challenge and this time I decided to make a scrapbooking page.
Most of scrapbookers are not stampers, also a lot of stampers  scrap. So for those who just scrap and afraid of stamping over their pages, here is a " light" example of  using stamps and not doing it just as backgrounds and Mixed Media stamping all over the page.
I scrapped my dear grandson's studio photos and was so much Spring feelings around, that I thought it's just perfect for our Spring challenge.

All I did was using Echo park papers and stickers and then to add some stamped embellishments on both corners. The lower  right corner was embellished with my most favorite Rose and Leave stamp. This time I used a few of Creative Inspiration Paint colors and then added Glossy Accents all over my colored roses. All of them are hand cut and glued with 3d foam glue.
I used a great mix of paints here such as Burnt Clay,Garnet, Rose Quartz, Sunshine, Evergreen and Citrus

Then I stamped Framed Daisies over Kraft cardstock, colored it with some more paints and added journaling sticker inside. This is a kind of " DIY journaling card and can be made from different papers and with different colors.
Also not stamping, but good example of bare chipboard coverage with ink and clear embossing powders. Then I added some permanent markers doodling over  my embossed glossy surface to get this unique look for the chipboard.

I really hope that I inspired you with my scrap+stamp layout and now it's your turn:
enter our  Sweet Stamps Spring challenge and you can win some fantastic stamps. See you around!

My Dad, His Music, Our Legacy lo

This week we are going to show you our use of journaling plates on Tando Creative blog and this is my project for this week.
This lo was made in Memory of my beloved father, who passed away last December. He was a well known Israeli composer  and this photo is so much him that I had to make a page about his music and our legacy he left us as a family.
I used Echo Park and Lily Bee papers, Tando creative chipboards,AC letters and some Tando ones, covered with embossing powder and Ebony Creative Inspirations Paint. I also used a lot of washi tape and TH tape pieces to put all papers and a photo together and to connect then on this lo.

And as for journaling spots: you can just use some letter stickers  for names, dates  etc. Also you can do much better and to write some real thoughts over this chipboard piece.

Grins and Giggles

This project was published  in SNR May 2012 issue
This is my most adorable grandson Omer again. Making his very first steps in this gorgeous spring field.

I used Echo Park The Happy day line for this page. made some  punching and die cutting, used those Epiphany Crafts scalloped epoxies and then stamped the flowers.
I think I am a stamp addict. I can't leave my lo without any stamping since I am on 3 stamp companies DT and I just have a lot of stamps I can use.

So those TRC flowers were stamped separately, heat embossed with Wow Suzy West embossing powders and then hand cut to make the branch.
It's a very flat and frugal page- no chipboards, pre- made flowers, ribbons of whatever expensive embellishments used here and still it's full of colors and life and gives  us this " outdoors" feeling.

Cupcakes toppers? Or bookmarks? or...

I am not really sure how I should call this " signs". I made them for Wow embossing powders team post and was asked to make something for a party. I am not a " party" making girl, my kids are adults and I never made all those fancy " for one day to use" crafts.
So I decided to make those signs: can be used as cupcakes toppers or place cards if we add names and then can be used as cute kids bookmarks.
I used Echo Park paper and stickers, Spellbinders dies and a lot of Wow powders, even over the wooden sticks. And just for a record: no bonding needed, clear embossing ink and powders and it stays forever on the wood.

Inspired by Stamping June Release- Day 1

Hello. my dear stamping friends! June is here and our new Inspired by Stamping release too.
Today I am going to shoe you my work with four of all 8 delicious new stamp sets that are going to be released in 2 days.
The first set I used is Elegant flowers one. I made a layout using most of the stamps in this set.

Some are stamped on the basic cardstock with white ink and clear  heat embossed. Then I stamped some roses over the patterned paper , heat embossed them, cut out and painted with some CIP paints.

All other paper products on this page are Echo Park; the chipboards are from Tando Creative- inked, heat embossed, some covered with Angel Dust glitter and some covered with fabric.
This is my baby  gradnson Omer and he is our family angel as my title says.

My second project is a card made with Birthday Greetings and Birthday Backgrounds 1 set.

I stamped  2 patterns from Basic Backgrounds over  some cream cardstock with clear embossing ink and then heat embossed them with 4 colors of Wow Embossing powders. Then all flags were made with EC tool and epoxies and I made my banner.

The sentiment was stamped on TC die cut (so are all other paper products on this card). Then I made an inside stamping  from the same Birthday Greetings set as you can see here.

My last project for today is another Birthday card. I used Simple Stories paper products and then stamped a sentiment and 2 other images over a postcard.

The inside is stamped and decorated too, also the flowers on the upper part are the must (to cover the hand stitching insides)

I used 2 stamps from the Stitched sentiments set for the inside and another Birthday Greeting for the long inside sentiment.

I hope I inspired you a bit with 4 new stamp sets and here are all other girls with their projects made with the same sets.

Irit- that's me here!
Tomorrow some other DT members will show you another 4 stamp sets from this June new release, so please go to Inspired by Stamping blog and hop with them too. Then in 2 days, come back to see all new  released stamp sets and then we have the final recap with all sets together.
So see you here in 2 days!

New page

I really love to work with Echo Park papers. They are bright and fun and so much fit my " not so shabby " mood (also   some   lines are pretty much shabby). And as I just bought the Victoria Garden and Happy Days products, here are my new page made with both lines.
The first is this Happy Day page with my dear grandson's lovely photo. Lot of clustering and some border punching, some rule of 3 (stars, arrows) and I think that this page is very much me.
Two tricks used here: using the paper line name as a frame title and using the paper strip back side as a strip - as I used the whole page for the base, this was the only option to add the same paper over the page.
Product list:

Echo Park Happy Days paper: Little Flowers, Retro, Jouranling cards, Scalloped,Numbers,
Chipboard Accents,Happy Days stickers,Layered Chipboard
Border Punch: Martha Stewart Daisies, EK Success Circles
Die: Doily- Cheery Lynn Designs
Frame: Making Memories
And a fast tutorial for this page:
1. Cut a Numbers  cardstock   to 10*10'' amd make  a daisy border frame with the border punch. Adhere it in the middle of your red basic cardstock yellow side up.
2. Die cut a doily  from Little Flowers cardstock, cut it to halves. Add the green premade frame over your photo and adhere  the photo over 2 doily halves as shown.
3. Make to border strips with Circle punch from Retro paper and glue them under your photo-  one from each side of the same paper.  Cut the notepaper jouenaling tag from Jouranling cardstock and glue it under the photo's left edge, add  the Special sticker over it.
4.Make    1''  strip from  Numbers  cardstock , cut the edge like a banner, glue it under the photo numbers up, add the black and white sticker strip.
5. Cluster your chipboard embellishments as shown, add some star sticker, the  star tab and some flower stickers over the border circled strips.  Use the  red dotted strip from the paper name strip, adhere the red arrows chipboard over it, add your Happy Day chipboard title and glue one yellow flower sticker over.
5. Cut the paper line name and glue it over your photo frame. Add some white pen jouranling on the lower left corner- Just a name and a date.
And some close ups  for   this   page

I (heart) you altered frame

My parents moved to a new  home 3 month ago and mom had all those old and unused frames, so I just took some to alter. This one is I (HEART) YOU frame, made with Echo Park goddies. I actually used 2 full ABC sets  here to make the saying over the glass.I used crackled paint over the framed paper and added one single Epiphany Crafts Shaped Studio Heart 25  epoxy shape and 3 Shaped Studio Round 14 epoxies over this frame. Really cool project to use unused alphas too.

Colors mini printer's tray

This project won an Echo Park Spots and Dots FB challenge- thanks!
This project won Scrapalicious challenge- thanks
This project made Top 3 on Hooked on crafts- thanks
This small- 7*5'' chipboard printer's tray from Tando Creative company is really just one third of this gorgeous piece, as it cames with a back and 3 tray layers. I decided to keep other 2 for  another project and to make this flat one layer tray, using Echo Park  products- great for my " color" concept and to add  all possible embelishments  to this one to match the colors. So lot's of Tando pieces were added here, covered with all possible mediums- Pearl glue paint, stamping and 3D glue, clear 3d glue, glitter, enamel paint etc. The frame was covered with Ranger's crackled white paint and some of it left uncovered. I added lots of Tim Holtz metals here to fit the frame and to frame it more.
And some challenges:
10 for Trail makers- 10 colors, 10 boxes in the tray, 10 different embellishments, one for each box
Not a card for Hooked on crafts
Anything goes for Woodware USA
Something that hangs for Scrapalicious
