CAS- ual Fridays May post

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today and after a month in hiatus I want to  welcome to my new May post made for CAS- ual Fridays blog with their most delicious products.
I am going to share a Mixed Media card made in clean and simple style.
Can you believe that Mixed Media can be done in CAS style? Yes, it can.You use s lot of different mediums, but then the general car layout is still clean and simple, as you can see on this card.

I used one single CAS- ual Fridays stencil with crackle paste and two Fri- dies with the add- ons of a few mists and some enamel drops.
I also made a small and short tutorial for you to follow and to try this maybe odd card style of mine.
Here are the CAS- ual Fridays products used to make this card:

And now let me show you some steps of doing this card:
1. Cover the black card front with Bold Trellis stencil and use Crackle paste over it.

2. This is how it looks without the stencil, but yet without any cracks.

3. Add three mist over the dry card front and let they dry.

4. Make the central matting part (I used a die to make the shape, but it can be just a rectangle). Mist the matting part with two of the mists and let it dry. Die cut the CAS- ual Fridays title from white cardstock.

5. Mist the die cut title with the light blue mist and let it dry.Die cut another title from light green cardstock.
Die cut one Noteworthy strip from the same light green cardstock.

6. Arrange the title as shown: one word with blue over green as the shadow and the second word green over blue as  the shadow.
Add the die cut strip under the matting piece.
Add a few blue enamel drops over the card.

Here is a close- up to the central part of my card:

One stencil - two ways- with CAS- ual Fridays

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to my new April post made for CAS- ual Fridays blog.
Irit is here today and this time I am going to show a card made with one single new and just released stencil that was used in two different ways as the background and then on the main heart shaped image.

I used this lovely Bold Trellis stencil with two different mediums and as you see it looks totally different.
The background is made with Gel medium over the stencil that was positioned over white cardstock
Then the dry image was covered with a mist of Distress inks and wiped with a baby wipe to leave the white images that are glossy.

The inside heart was die cut from the stencilled black cardstock.
This time I used red glitter paste and the look is very glittery.

The sentiment was stamped over white cardstock and glued over the inked smaller heart.

This is the stencil used twice to make this card:

Best floral day ever card with CAS- ual Fridays

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new CAS- ual Fridays post.
Today I am going to share my new lovely floral card of a card made with one single CAS- ual Fridays  background stamp set and one CAS- ual Fridays die .
I know that it's a Winter around, but here in Israel it's a kind of a Spring and I was in this bright mood and this is how this card was born.

The background floral set was stamped with black pigmented ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Then I colored the floral background with watercolor markers.
Here are the CAS- ual Fridays products that I used to make this card:

And some more photos of this card:

The title was die cut and then covered with black embossing powder and I tried to leave the part of the title non covered as the shadow.

Black enamel drops were added as my flower centres all over the card.

See how easy it is to make this lovely floral card with just one great CAS- ual Fridays stamp set and one single die. You sure can change the floral colors and the title can be die cut from colored cardstock or painted in another color.

CAS- ual Fridays Vintage card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new CAS- ual Fridays post.
Today I am going to share a small tutorial of a card made with one single CAS- ual Fridays  Be stamp set.
I try to make different cards and this time I am back to my beloved vintage style and made this card using BoBunny vintage collection as the base of my card and stamped the front with one of my most loved CAS- ual Fridays stamp sets called BE.

First I made the collaged background using patterned paper cuts only and arranging them in this vintage one over another kind of a mess.
Then I die cut a white cardstock piece and stamped one of the sentiments using black pigmented ink and clear embossing powder. I also added a couple of small stamped butterflies from the same stamp set.

Here is the stamp set used for this card.:

And here are  some close- ups to this card:

Hoppy Birthday card with CAS- ual Fridays

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today with a new small card tutorial I made for CAS- ual Fridays blog.
I used a cute stamp set and Fri- dies to make a black and white (with a touch of gold) Birthday card.
As you can see this card has minimum coloring and minimum embellishments.
Actually I only used glitter glue and some enamel drops to add gold touches and some coloring of the bunnies.

Here you can see the layering over the card :

And some close- ups too:

2. Cut both stamped pieces diagonally . Glue two triangles over the black card  base as shown. Glue the two remained triangles on the back and die cut the smaller rectangle. Glue the smaller die cut  rectangle over the first one as shown.

3.Stamp the bunny image twice- one over black cardstock with white heat embossing and one over white cardstock with black embossing. Die cut both bunnies and one balloon as shown.Stamp the sentiment with permanent black ink.

4. Arrange the images over the basic card and glue them with 3d foam glue.
Add gold glitter glue and white, black and clear enamel dots as shown. Your fancy and yet easy to make card is done.

Christmas gift card holder and bookmark with BoBunny

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit from Irit Shalom Designs is here today with my second project made with the most adorable and newest Yuletide Carol collection.
This is a totally traditional Christmas collection- colors, designs and sayings .
So I decided to make the totally traditional Christmas Gift card holder/card and to add a lovely interactive bookmark made with the same collection.

As you can see the gift card holder is a standing card and the bookmark is made with the frame and inside moving piece.
I made the front with book shaped dies using different cardstocks and added distressing to the edges as this is a pretty much vintage collection.
The book pages were glued one over another and then embellished with Combo stickers, Layered chipboard, jewels and a couple of BoBunny dies were used to add the interest to this project.

Here you can see all layers of this project when closed:

And this is the " step" that holds this piece standing: made with cardstock, die cuts, stickers and BoBunny die cut sentiment arranged in 5 layers as a " chipboard" piece.

The inside tag is glued on the top and on the bottom , so you can put your cash or your gift card under the tag.

And here is the book mark- the " Joy" part can be used as a separate bookmark too.

 Product list:

Yuletide Carol collection 12'': O Tannenbaum, Presents, Joyous, Carol, Christmas
