CAS- ual Fridays August release Day 1- Be a Unicorn

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Welcome to our CAS- ual Fridays August new release Day 1!
Today we are going to share our creations made with the most gorgeous and most trendy
BE A UNICORN stamp set and Unicorn Fri- die.

I always connect unicorns with rainbows. So it was  obvious that I would add some kind of a rainbow over my release card and my pick was  a stencil, clear embossing ink and 7 different embossing powders that made this colorful rainbow background.

There are quite a few adorable sentiment on this stamp set and once I picked the one I want to use it was also very obvious that I must use glitter to fit the word sparkle.
So the unicorn image was stamped with VersaMark and then heat embossed with black embossing powder. Then it was die cut with the matching unicorn die and covered with fine clear glue and sparkling clear glitter.
The corn and the hair were colored with glitter glue to add some contrast and colors to the main image.
The sentiment was also heat embossed and lots of colorful enamel dots were added over the sentiment circle.

As you all know you can buy the new released goodies from our on- line store HERE!
And on this  release company blog post you can see all DT delicious projects and to get more delightful inspiration!
See you tomorrow with more CAS- ual Fridays  August releases! And if you use my discount code you can get yourself all of the new releases for the great price too!

Just for you - SNS June reveal

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last June Sparkle N' Sprinkle reveal post. Irit is here and
this time I used the same Cosmos Blooms set again, but in a totally different way.

Product list:
Stencils Art Anthology
 Zig Water colors

I stamped the flowers over vellum and color them with Zig water color markers.
I made two layers of textured backgrounds using Tonic Studios Glitter pastes and make a chipboard like die cut Tonic sentiment.
You can see the whole process in my step by step tutorial HERE in my own blog!

Be sure to leave a comment both here on this SNS blog post and then head over to my own blog  and leave a comment there as well for your chance to win a $20 gift card to SNS! One lucky winner will be chosen from one of the Designers' posts on the last day of each month. A comment must be left on both the SNS Blog and the Designer's post in order to qualify. The winner will be announced on the 3rd of the following month, both on the SNS Blog and on the SNS Facebook page.

Step by step tutorial:
1. Die cut the oval frame and put the oval part as a mask over the rectangle die cut card front as shown. Cover it with stencil and add Tonic Moon stone glitter paste over the stencil.

2. Die cut a smaller oval from vellum paper and stamp the blooms with VersaMark and heat emboss with black detail embossing powder.

3. Color the stamped blooms with Zig watercolor markers and arrange over the card as shown.

4. Make large black cardstock matting and cover the edges with the same stencil and Tonic Black Diamond glitter paste around. The blue die  cut piece is just a mask that keeps the white card space clean.

5. Die cut the sentiment several times and glue it one over another to make a chipboard like shape.White color should be on the top.All other colors are not so important as we don't see them.

.Cover the sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with Daffodil embossing powder

.Add SNS Brushable glue over the yellow sentiment and sprinkle a bit of Black Ice glitter

Glue the sentiment over the card and mist a bit with yellow mist as shown.

Celebrate with CAS-ual Fridays challenge

Welcome friends. We are so glad you are joining us for the revamped CAS-ual Fridays challenge. There are no genre restrictions for this challenge. Link up your clean and simple designs or layer it on -- the choice is yours.  Make sure to link back to this blog post and include the graphic below in your post for consideration of being chosen a winner.

Image may contain: fireworks

This card was a pure fun to make.
First I splashed  over the black cardstock with acrylics. Then I added a dotted stencil with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with gold powder.
Then the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with the same powder and finally the die cuts were
" goldened" to the same color with heat embossing. It's really 10 minutes card and you can change the colors of acrylics or of embossing powder to make a very similar, but still different card.
 Products used:
Celebrate stamp set
Jumping Jacks Fri-Dies

Congratulations with Magenta

Hello dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today with my new and pretty different card made with our gorgeous Magenta products.

I made the background with the gorgeous Magenta  Chicken Wire stencil over sticker paper.
I added  black glitter over the stencil and then peeled the stencil off the sticker paper and added a generous layer of clear glitter. That's it! You lovely and totally different background was done.
Then the main Magenta  Bird on Branch image was stamped over embossable transparency with VersAMark ink and heat embossed with fine black embossing powder.
I hand cut around the image and didn't even try to make it perfect.
The sentiment was stamped with permanent black ink and the whole piece was splashed with similar light olive acrylic mist.

Mixed Media tag with Art Anthology

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media tag project.
As you already know I am a big fan of all things Steampunk and grungy and this tag is this kind of a project.

I didn't add the title or saying to this tag  as it's just for art made tag, not anything to really give away or to use for a purpose.
So as you can see the background was made with Art Anthology stencils and different Art Anthology paints, sprays and mediums.
I added a lot of chipboards, mostly from Creative Embellishments with some silk and paper flowers, old lace fabric and a vintage style broach.

Here are some close- ups to this tag mostly to show you the background.

And as always - here is a full step by step tutorial  for you to follow and to make the very similar project:
Check out How to Make a Steampunk Mixed Media Tag by Art Anthology on Snapguide. And here is the full  products list for this project:

I hope that you like my Mixed Media tag and would try to do the similar one with gorgeous Art Anthology products.
