Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I share a new CAS- ual Fridays challenge with you and this time it's all about Beautiful Rainbows.
So this is the new challenge for you to follow:
No automatic alt text available.

My card was made with TUTU stamp set and the background was made with Memory Box stencil, texture paste and 7 different embossing powders.
You sure can see the rich background texture made with them.
The light yellow color was made with mist.

The sentiment was stamped over white cardstock with white ink and heat embossed with white powder and then painted over with black ink.

There are no genre restrictions for this challenge. Link up your clean and simple designs or layer it on -- the choice is yours.  Make sure to link back to this blog post and include the graphic below in your post for consideration of being chosen a winner.
What are your playing for? 10 winning entries will be highlighted on this blog each Thursday before a new challenge is set to go live the next day.  In addition, Michele has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to the overall winner at CAS-ual Friday stamps. Congratulations card with Topflight Stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new weekly Topflight Stamps post.
This week I am going to share my new card made with Leane Creatief most gorgeous doodling stamps and it;s really my very first time ever to use a Champagne bottle and a glass stamps on my creations.

I made a very general Congratulations card in just two tones- pink and black and white and it fits for several events, such as a weddings, Birthdays and just general celebrations of whatever you want to celebrate.

The card layers were made with dies and one was also dry embossed with a kind of bubbles.

The stamped images were heat embossed with black embossing powder and then colored with pink and grey watercolors.
I made white pen doodling over the grey color and black pen doodling over the pink.
The yellow color is actually gold pen, but hard to see the golden sparkle on the photos.
The only embellishments added are those dark pink rhinestones.
The sentiment die cut was cut twice and glued one over another for the contrast.
Here is the stamp set I used to make this card and you sure can see how different it looks if you use different colors for the bottle and for champagne inside.

I really hope that you like my pretty card and you can see more of my work in my own blog HERE.

Anything goes week with TOPFLIGHT STAMPS: Find the Magic

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this is my free post made for Topflight stamps shop.
As you know this is this week when the designers can pick their own style of stamps and to make the project that speaks for them in the best artistic way.
So for me it was my very first time  of working with Lavinia stamps and making this magical project in my own creative Mixed Media way.
I made this shadow box over the $sore white plastic shadow frame.
Every single inch was covered with mediums, paints,  texture paste over stencils and chipboards were added for the more texture and interest.

The inside of the box was made with stamped image using Lavinia Guinevere Mermaid stamp.
I stamped the image over white cardstock and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
Then I added more texture with a stencil that was heat embossed with sparkle powder.
The inside chipboards were added inside.

The sentiment was stamped with Lavinia Those who don't believe in magic sentiment stamps, die cut and added on the box corner. The sentiment was arranged on a piece of a real fishing net.

Here are the stamps I used to make this altered shadow box :

I really hope that you liked my Mixed Media stamped project and loved Lavinia stamps that you can buy from Topflight stamps shop.

Tando Summer door hanger

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new altered project.
It still time to make a  Summer project and mine is this totally bright door hanger.

I used a couple of Tando masks to make the heat embossed background and worked with DecoArt Media line paints and mediums to make the background as shiny as it looks.
The chipboard shapes were painted and then covered with clear Crackle Glaze.
The birdy was covered with white crackle paint.

Can you see the difference of those two mediums? The glaze comes over the paint. The paint is covered with another paints/mists over the dry surface.

I also added the ceackle glaze over the edges and inside the " white spaces" and you can see it shown.

Hope that you liked my small  Mixed Media project!
Happy Summer to anyone where  Summer shines!

Topflight inspiration with For the love of Stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit  is here today and I am going to share my first August  inspiration for Topflight Stamps shop.
This week the design team members were asked to make project with stamps from UK For the Love of Stamps company.
This is a company with great scenic stamps and I got this lovely set named Barrow of Blooms.

So here is a card I made with this lovely set.

Here is the stamps set I used:

As you can see this is a shaker card, but the simple circle shaker one that anyone with a set of circled die can make without a problem.
The inside of the circle is stamped and heat embossed. Then I colored it with Zig Real Brushes markers and added distress inked background.
I used small beads as the shaker filler in the colors that fit the flowers on the stamped image.
The sentiment was made with two sentiment stamps from the same set, heat embossed and die cut and added on the corner.

I hope I inspired you a bit with my new shaker card made with the For the Love of Stamps set and you are mostly welcome to see the daily/weekly deals in our gorgeous  Topflight Stamps shop .
And if you like my work you are welcome to my own blog to see more of it.
See you in a week!

IBS TAG tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Inspired by Stamping July post.
This time I decided to make a Mixed Media tag and to stay in this summery green color pallet.
So this is a tag  made and I made written tutorial for you, also not the photos step by step one.

1. Cover Tando Mixed Media board with a thin layer of white gesso.
2. Use Harlequin Tando stencil with DecoArt texture paste to make your background.
3. Paint Tando Iron gate (half of the chipboard piece) and Tando Wings with white gesso.
4. Glue the gate part, the wings and add some resin handmade swirls over the gate chipboard.
5. Mist the whole piece with a mix of Lindy's Stamp Gang and Tattered Angels green mists. Some of the mists have a bit of copper mica powder and this is the copper you can see over the gate.
6. Stamp over the dry misted wings using Inspired by Stamping old and retired (sorry) background stamp with permanent Ranger black ink.
6. Stamp four Inspired by Stamping Butterflies over the thick white cardstock with clear embossing Ranger ink. Heat emboss them with Copper embossing powder and hand cut all 4.
7. Mist the embossed and hand cut butterflies with  the same green mix of mists. Let them dry and them glue them over the art piece as shown.
8. Die cut Inspired by Stamping Love word  and heat emboss it with the same copper embossing powder. Glue the embossed die cut as shown.
9. Punch a hole on the top of Mixed Media board and tie IBS lace ribbon.
10. Add a touch of copper wax (Pentart) over the chipboard pieces and around the tag edges.

Here are some of the close- ups to this art tag:

Shine on clear art deco with SinCity

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here today and I am going to share my lovely stamped project made from the both sided of acrylic piece.
There is a bit of a problem to take a good photo of double sided clear project and as much as I tried this is the best possible.
Believe me- the actual result of much more gorgeous and shiny and artistic. But you can just try to make  a similar project and to see how easy and fast it  can be made.

Supply list:

Other products:
Acrylic board- 6*6'' and a small for the sentiment
Black pigmented ink
Clear embossing powder
Mix of achohol ink
Alcohol blending solution
Alcohol ink felt applicator
Gold acrylic paint

Step by step directions:

1. Stamp three butterflies randomly over 6*6'' acrylic tile. Use black pigmented ink and clear embossing powder. You can also use a kind of solvent permanent ink (Staz- On) over the acrylic surface, but the heat embossed effect looks much better.

2. Stamp the ferns and the flowers from the back side of your acrylic tile. Use the same ink and heat emboss in the same way as the front of the tile.

3. Apply a mix of alcohol inks (3 to 4 colors, not more) using felt applicator.Apply the inks on one side only- you pick the side. Add a few  drops of alcohol blending solution for the interest. Repeat this step until you feel that the colors look good.

4. Stamp the Best Wishes sentiment on the small acrylic tile using the same technique as on previous steps.
Paint the back side of the stamped sentiment with gold acrylic paint. Let the paint dry.

5. Paint the edges of the stamped large tile with gold acrylic paint . Adhere the stamped Best Wishes sentiment over the front of the tile.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Guest Design post

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is part 2 of my Guest design for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and this time they tell a bit about me and this is a project I made for this separate post.
You are most welcome to their blog HERE see the full post.

If girls celebrate their adult age on 12, for boys it's 13. And still it's not just the religious part that is important, but boring, but the party!  So this is a gift box (also we mostly give cash…) that was the Swatch watch box and it's about 12'' long. First I covered it with cardstock and then added two spots of stamped images. On the right side I stamped the general sentiment. On the left I stamped, heat embossed, colored and hand cut the hot air balloon and added the number 13 for the age of the celebration. Small blue stamped sentiment was added under the balloon.

I want to thank CAS-ual Fridays Stamps for a great chance to be their Guest designer this  month and to work with their beautiful stamps.
I hope to be back there some day! Cross my finger I will.
