IBS April stamp release- Flamingos

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Day 3 of Inspired by Stamping new April stamp release.
Today our designers will show you our work with Flamingos stamp set.
This is a gorgeous set with lots of great sentiment that fit this flamingo image. I picked the most common  sentiment,  but made it in a kind of Mixed Media style.
The background cardstock is from DCWV  with a bit of SRM stickers to connect the paper pieces.
Stamped and heat embossed images and sentiment were misted with TA mists. I also added hand doodled faux stitching made with black pen.
Now you are invited to see all other designers projects made with this same stamp set.

My life on canvas- with Scrapmatts

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is my very first post as Scrapmatts DT member.

For this post we were asked to make a kind of a " selfie" canvas.
I hope  that I am seen in a proper way on this project as usually I am on the other side of the camera.

So as you can see I made it to fit the photo. Actually those are two photos from the same vacation, but I managed to destroy to lower one with mists. Then I realised that I don't have another good photo that was in a portrait way and every single piece of chipboards was already glued with gel medium over the canvas.
So when life gives you lemons, try to make a lemonade from them and try to correct your mistakes. The other similar photo was a landscape kind. I just trimmed it and made this 2 layers double photo and it seams to be unique and interesting after all.
My background was made with two Scrapmatts stencils: Circles  CT1001 and Alphabet  CT5017. I used texture paste (DecoArt) to make the whole background and let it dry.
As the next step I added paints and mists all over the canvas, using Plaid Mixed Media gel paints and their new mists. After it was dry I added some stamped frame with black permanent ink (Ranger) and Andy Skinner's stamps.
The next step was to paint the Retro squares chipboard, to cut it into two parts and to glue over the canvas.

Then I heat embossed  one window from Windows  04 CB5120 set and three pieces from Ornate frames 22 CB1220 and Ornate toppers 01 CB5137 sets  using clear embossing ink and opaque white embossing powder.  Those pieces were arranged on the top and  on the bottom of my photo.

As the next step I painted the Flowers 12 CB1220 and added them over the window chipboard.
I used two pieces for sentiments, both from Scrap Words 21 CB6103 set and they coordinate together to make the statement of Life being a journey and adventure that just begins.

As my last touch I added a bunch of 3d stickers and a few drops of blue mist. Yes, the mist that ruined my lower photo.
I really hope  that you like my canvas as much as I do, but it goes to Scrapmatts shop, not to my craft room wall.
Stencils: CT5017 Alphabet
Circles CT1001

I love you a watt card with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to my forth post made this month for Two Paper Divas.
This new stamp set called WATT'S UP?  is so adorable and so much full of love and the sentiments are so versatile and can fit a lot of ocassions.
So I made a love card without hearts, flowers or even love colors of pink and red. Simple and clean card and I love it a lot! Hope you like it too.
I made the circle die cut window in dry embossed  panel and misted it with Tattered Angels mists.
The light bulb was stamped to fit the window and painted with watercolors. Then I added a few stickers' stitches (SRM Stickers) and the stamped on the bottom sentiment.
So easy to make and so pretty!

Cupcakes are happinees with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my third post made with gorgeous Two Paper Divas stamps.
This card was made with two stamp sets.
The first is the Large Cupcake and the second is the sentiment that is all about cupcakes happiness and it's called Can't buy happiness. They are just perfect together!
So the background was made with die cuts in two of my favorite colors: pink and aqua using Cherry Lynn dies.
The cupcakes were stamped and hand cut and then embellished with puffy medium. Don't you like the cream? I adore the look.
The sentiment was stamped directly on Kraft card with brown ink and I just added a few SRM stitches stickers in pink color.

Celebrate your day with Two Paper Divas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second March post for Two Paper Divas.
This card was made with two of new stamp sets from this lovely stamp company and I was back to paper piecing.
I  stamped the Large Cupcake stamp three times and made the layers with Ann Butler's Clearsnap Crafter's inks and clear embossing powder over the layers. I added some sprinkles with chunky glitter and glaze and arranged the cupcake over the die cut (MFT).
Another die cut from the same set was used for the stamped sentiment using the very same Large Cupcake set.
Some stickers and pearls were added to finish this fancy Birthday or other celebration card.

Happy Spring with IBS

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first post for Inspired by Stamping.

Spring is almost here. So the best way to welcome Spring is to make a couple of spring cards. As we are Jewish and don't celebrate Easter, I just used the other sentiment from this totally versatile and gorgeous new IBS set named Easter Bunnies.

It's not a real tutorial, but I took some photos of a few stages and I think that this is a card to any level of crafter: easy to make with some  watercolors and just a light Mixed Media background.

So here we go:
1. Stamp the Bunnies image over watercolor paper with clear embossing ink and heat emboss with black powder.

2. Color the image with water colors. You can use whatever water colors you own. Lucky me has those Real Brush markers as they are very easy to use.
So after I colored the bunnies I made a free hand cut of the image.
I made another stamped layer of the same image and made 2 layers focal point image using 3d foam glue.
3. The background layer was first dry embossed with Darice folder. Then I added some splashes made with 2 colors of mists and finished it with a couple of stickers' stitches.

4. Stamp the sentiment with black permanent ink and hand cut it as a banner. Color with one of the mists using baby wipe.
Adhere the sentiment as shown.
5. Add a few rhinestones to finish your card.

Celebrate and make a wish card: Oriental style

Hello  my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again with my new Oriental style card and this time it's a Birthday card full of bright colors and gold using Die Versions Oriental dies collection.
I used light blue card as my base and added a real Japanese paper over it. As this paper has gold  I decided to stay with gold and made the die cut of Whispers - Ginger Jar  die in gold. I kept the negative and used it under the die cut over the card.
The vase was layered over double sided glue sheet and covered with perfect blue glitter.
I added a few  pieces of gold washi tapes and some SRM stickers as stitches and sentiments.  The paper has a bit of red over it. So I added a couple of red rhinestones  and red stitches to make this the complimentary color for my card.

So with just one die  this card is a shiny and full of color and just perfect for both genders.
