Throw Kindness card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new card post.
This time I made a simple Mixed Media card with misted background (Tattered Angels) and added a random layers of thick white glitter over the card.
I made a circled cut inside the background and added the stamped sentiment over the same background misted die cut piece.
The stamp set used is Beautiful Life Honey Bee Stamps set  and as it says " Throw confetti' I actually added a few sequins all over the card.

Happy Birthday with Honey Bee Stamps tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new card tutorial made for Honey Bee stamps blog.
This  technique I want to share is an easy one and the result is grungy and pretty gorgeous.
So here we go!
1. Use craft store piece of thin craft foam, decorative ruler (you don't really need it, you can just tear the thin foam piece) and make your own solid background stamp.
Use the positionable glue to add this " stamp" to your acrylic block.

2. Use any black ink you have in hand to ink this so called " stamp" and make the impression over white cardstock.
Don't try to make it perfect! The whole thing is about gaps that will be filled with other color.

3. Use any cards maker die to die cut the rectangle shape for your future card.

4. There are no step by step photos from this step and on, but the rest is easy to explain even without photos.
Use any brown distress ink to ink the whole piece over the black " stamped" image.
Stamp Honey Bee Stamps sentiment using Happy Everything  stamp set, white pigmented ink and white embossing powder.
One of the tips I always share is to use white ink with white powder for the better result when working over dark surface.
You can also see that I added a few more stamped images on two card corners using Honey Bee Stamps Country Blooms stamp set and the very same white ink and white embossing powder.
A few random drops of pink ink were added over the card and over the flowers to add some pretty color to this grungy card.

You are loved card with Honey Bee stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last Honey Bee Stamps post for August.
This time I made a totally Mixed Media card with tons of mediums, paints, mists and texture and yet it is a totally flat card after all. The Miracles of Mixed Media are here!
I used Rebecca Baer stencil with modelling paste to make the not so much seen background (look close, it's there). Then I  colored the background with a mix of Tattered Angels mists and paints. After the background was all dry I stamped the Honey Bee flowers and a sentiment on white tissue and glued it over the background with Gel Medium.
Stamps used here are Honey Bee Stamps:Country Blooms and  Beautiful life! Perfect, perfect. perfect for any stamping occasion!

Just a few gold sequins were added and this fancy card was all done!

Sending Happy wishes to you card with Honey Bee stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Honey Bee Stamps post!
This time, after quite a few Mixed Media pieces I made a card and I am very happy with the result.
As you see this is a Kraft Cardstock based card and stamping with white heat embossing over the Kraft cardstock  gives us an amazing result.
So I used Honey Bee Stamps Color my World set to stamp all flowers around this card using clear embossing ink and heat embossed the images with white embossing powder. I made masks to make the flower clusters ass well.
The lower flowers were stamped second time, hand cut and colored with Zig Real Brush markers that I love a lot lately.
Then I added them over the basic stamped layere with 3d foam glue.
The sentiment was made with Honey Bee Happy Everything set that is a most perfect sentiment builder ever!

You make me happy double tag with Honey Bee stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this time with my altered Mixed Media double tag made with Honey Bee stamps.
I love tags! I think those small art pieces are gorgeous and you can make then combined of two or even more tags one over another for the depth and texture.
So this tag was made with actually two separate tags that were connected then one over another.
So the backgrounds and the texture were made with Tando stencils, DecoArt texture paste and a lot, really a lot of DecoArt paints and mists.
After those tags were totally dry I wanted to stamp with Honey Bee stamps over and it was Mission Impossible as the texture was so massive and I had no free space to stamp.
But wait! There is a great way to add stamping over texture when you make your Mixed Media art and it is to stamp over white tissue paper with permanent ink and to glue the whole tissue piece over the creases with gel medium.
So easy to do and so effective!
And that was what I did: I stamped Honey Bee HAPPY EVERYTHING sentiment over the tissue and glued it in the middle of the textured clock.
Then I added a few stamped flowers with the same ink, but directly on the tags using Honey Bee Color My World flowers and embellished with a few wooden elements.
This tag can be a good one for men in our lives too: colors are not too girly and yes, they can  make us happy sometimes!

Just add color and have a lovely day!

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is my small art piece made for Honey Bee Stamps as one of Instagram projects.
I made the stencilled (Tando stencils) card shaped piece with texture paste and a lot of Tattered Angels mists and paint and then stamped over it using Honey Bee Color My Word stamp set and Honey Bee Happy Everything stamp set.
This is a problem to stamp over glittery paint such as a paint I used here, so the stamping is not much seen unless you enlarge the photos.
The word COLOR was painted inside as this is a bold  stamp and I added this painted chipboard & sign frm Tando to make the statement : Just add Color & havr s lovely Day!
So just add some colors into your life and your days will be lovely!

You make my life colorful Mixed Media card with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again. Yes, this month you will  see me quite a lot in the Honey Bee Stamps blog ...
This time I decided to share my simple and yet totally Mixed Media card.
I didn't make the tutorial, but I am going to give you the steps to make this card if you like it and want to try something similar.
First I stamped the sentiment using Honey Bee Stamps Color my World set and made the whole sentiment.
I stamped with clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with black powder.
Being more than 4 years on a design team for embossing powders manufacturer made me a kind of " heat emboss everything" crafter, but then it's so easy to colors inside those heat embossed lines!
So I colored the bold letters with all possible rainbow colors using my beloved Zig Real Color brushes.
Then I  punched a circle of scrap paper and made a mask over the stamped sentiment.
I used Memory Box stencil that was arranged over the card and clear embossing ink over the stencil.
The next step was to add 7 embossing powders over the stencilled area and to heat emboss them.

The powders were very different and you can see that some are more solid and some are kind of grainy, but this is what Mixed Media is all about. It shouldn't be perfect. It should be artistic. So why not to add some golden mist over it? So I did  using Tattered Angels Marigold glimmer mist.
The last part was to die cut the copper cardstock circle using dies and DCWV copper paper and the add it over the sentiment.
The basic card was die cut from the same copper cardstock and I added just a few rhinestones over this card.

I really hope that you like my almost CAS Mixed Media card and if you like my projects please visit my Instagram account @iritshalom2000 and become my follower.
I will be posting more Honey Bee projects there every second week.

Happy Everything art page with Honey Bee Stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends ! Irit is here and I welcome  you to my very first post as a Design team member of Honey Bee stamps.
As most of you most probably know I am more a Mixed Media artist than a card maker, so I decided to show you how Honey Bee Stamps can be used for Mixed Media projects. I will craft some cards too, but with a touch of Mixed Media mostly in the future.
So today  I am going to shoe you the art journal single page made with just a few products.
All you need to make the similar page is a piece of good thick white cardstock from any company, one single Tando Creative stencil, DecoArt texture paste and ColorArte Silk Acrylics paints and .... Yes, our gorgeous Honey Bee  stamps:
Happy Everything set and Color My Word set.
This is not a tutorial post, but I  will tell you  briefly how I made this piece.
First I used the stencil with texture paste and made all textured images over the white cardstock.
Then, when the paste was dry, I added paints and mist to get those summery green, blue and yellow colors over the whole stencilled images.
I kept a few areas without texture to stamp later over them.
Let's say that the Silk Acrylics are fantastic as paints, but terrible as the stamping background. The gel medium inside them makes the good stamping almost impossible. So this was a time to use my Misti maybe for the very first time and to stamp the Happy Moments and Happy Everything  from Happy Everything set over and over with black permanent ink.

But finally the stamping was good for the Mixed Media page. Not very crispy, but sufficient.
I added stamped flowers using Color My Word set  on the " white" areas that sure were green...
To make the flower pop I added white acrylic around and over the images and added some of the paint over the textured images too.

As you can see this is a real art page: flat, made with a lot of mediums and no " add- ons" at all.
And it's a great example for you to see how Honey Bee stamps can be used on Mixed Media projects.
Just grab some of them and make your own art journals with your own mix of colors, textures and sentiments.
Thanks for being here with me and you are welcome to my Instagram account @iritshalom2000
-where I will post more of my Honey Bee projects in the future! Please follow me there if you like or just pop to say hello.
