Butterflies with Topflight stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Topflight  blog post.
Today I am going to share the 8*8'' Mixed Media canvas made with most gorgeous Katzelkraft Butterflies stamp set and I am going to show  you a few stamping techniques while working over the Mixed Media canvas project.
First I added the background texture with texture paste and stencils (Tando Creative UK) and glued a few cardstock pieces with DCWV old cardstock collection.
Then the whole piece was painted with DecoArt acrylic paints.
It's almost impossible to stamp over this heavy textured canvas, so I stamped the flowers stamps from the same stamp set over the white tissue paper and glued them on the bottom of the canvas with gel medium.

Now I decided to stamp over small flowers and butterflies bare chipboards and I just used the large stamps and stamped on the chipboards " as is". I used black pigmented ink (Memento Luxe) and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Then I colored the heat embossed chipboards with more acrylic paint and you can see that the butterflies are pretty much similar to the large ones on the bottom even with this partial stamping due the chipboard shapes size.

The sentiment is the most gorgeous Rubber Dance one and I hand cut it to the strips to make the " canvas look" for the sentiment.

Then two large and full size butterflies were stamped, colored and glued over the canvas.

Here are the stamps used to make this project:

I really hope that you liked my weekly inspiration post today and as you know all stamps are in the Topflight shop waiting for you !
See you next week for more Topflight inspiration!

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to CAS-ual Fridays new challenge.
This time we challenge you to use three lovely colors for your challenge project.

No automatic alt text available.

And this is my card made for this challenge.
I used the similar colors, but the photo makes the red too much red and less coral.
The stamp set used here is CAS-ual Fridays So Pretty and Modern Petals sets.

Smile layout with Scrapmatts

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Scrapmatts May inspiration!
My firsty project, almost as always, is a scrapbooking classic layout.
I used DCVW cardstock from the pretty monochromatic collection and add a lot of chipboards to add more interest to the flat colors of the layout.
As almost always- my dear 3 years old grand daughter Neta is a star of my scrapbooking.

So as you see I made the modern title with Scrapmatts chipboards painted into black.

The main embellishment cluster was made with background chipboards painted with  gold paint and some hand made paper flowers.
I added a bird bath and two chipboard birds to this cluster too.

And the half circles were  added under the twine " banner" to make the white space less " white".

Hello Happy layout with Scrapmatts

My second Scrapmatts project for April is a monochromatic Wedding day layout made with DCVW new stack and a lot of Scrapmatts products.
So this is how this layout looks with those " blue mood" photos and blue China cardstock.

Chipboard were painted with white and black acrylics and added under the paper cut flowers.
The huge chipboard circle was added around the larger photo.

Some kind of journalling was made with Scrapmatts Scrap Words.
On this  close- up photo you can also see the dotted background made with clear glitter paste and a new delicious Scrapmatts stencil.

The title was made with two large words chipboards that were heat embossed with black embossing powder.

Another small string chipboard half circle was added on the opposite corner flower cluster.

Lace boarder piece was added over the small photos part of the layout.

Another lace corner piece was added as the large photo corner.

And a view from the side to show you the dimension of this page.

Small Smile word chipboard was added on the top of the tag and the big Friendship sentiment chipboard was added on the bottom.
The leaves and the Bird bath were covered with clear glitter paint.
I also embellished the leaves with copper pearls as the berries.
