China Glaze Pink Voltage

From China Glaze's Ink Collection, this is a neon I recently picked up at Sally's Beauty Supply.  I like that it has a bit of a shimmer to it.  It was very difficult to capture it's true color in my photos.  The low light blur photo is the most true to the neon of the color.  I have it painted in three coats.

China Glaze Polarized

From their Prismatic Collection, this color is a silver base with multi-sized glitter.  All colors from this collection are intended to have a duo-chrome finish.  This is the least "Chromatic" of the collection and also one of the more sheer colors.  I layered it for one shot over China Glaze Liquid Leather to show its contrast (you can pick up a slight hint of purple) over a dark color.  I painted it, singly, in three coats and only added one coat over the black thumb.

China Glaze Prism

From their Prismatic Collection, this color is a pastel purple base with multi-sized glitter.  All colors from this collection are intended to have a duo-chrome finish.  You can mildly see the varying shades of purple, blue and pink in some of the pictures, but it is very subtle (as I found with all the colors in this collection once on the nail).  They are very pretty and as for sparkle polish this color is decently opaque.  I am showing it in three coats.  On the nail, this color looks very similar to Liquid Crystal.

China Glaze Princess Grace

This color from China Glaze's Monte Carlo Collection was a total let down for me.  I should have stayed away from the frosty finish in the first place since I hate to see brush strokes (although for a frost, it's not terrible).  But it's way to sheer/not sheer enough for me to do anything with it.  It would be hard to layer with because it is streaky and too opaque for a shimmer.  Oh, well.  They can't all be winners for me.  It does work great for marbling (if you need a near clear color).  I have it shown here in three coats.

PiƱata-Yada-Yada

Multi-fleck glitters are certainly quite popular.  I'm just glad Ulta has made a knock off so I don't have to pay an arm and a leg.  This is a nice layering polish to add some fun to any manicure.  I have painted it here in three coats and you can see there is plenty of space for polish to shine through.

China Glaze Peace On Earth

This is a great, unique color that is from China Glaze Tis The Season To Be Naughty Or Nice collection.  It is an olive green metallic.  You can tell a bit from the photos that some brush strokes in the application, but it is very opaque.  I've painted it in three coats.

China Glaze Peachy Keen

Peachy Keen is a color from China Glaze's Up And Away Collection and is a very nice peach, cream color. The application is great and the picture shows three coats (even if it is a bad picture....).

Revlon Scented Nail Enamel Pineapple Fizz

This is the second scented polish I bought from Revlon's Scented Nail Enamel line. I posted previously that my draw to it was because of the flaky glitter as opposed to glitter glitter in the polish. Plus, it's scented! It's a jelly base, so not opaque. This is three coats of enamel and it does have a pineapple scent that I found light and fun to sniff while wearing. The scent doesn't last much longer than a day, though.

Zoya Paris

Perfect vampy dark burgundy. Paris is a glossy, wonderfully dark color. You can see the base is red toned. Application was perfection and these photos show three coats. It was so shiny it was hard to take a picture that didn't show off a lot of glare!

Orly Passion Fruit

I loved this color in the bottle. Bright, pink, fun! The application is alright, but more on the jelly side, not very opaque. The problem I have had with most Orly colors I have in my collection lies in their wear. I find them to chip very easily--which is fine because I change my polishes often, but if you're looking for a color to stay for several days, it's a bother. The picture I took didn't show off it's brightness, so there is a bottle picture that shows off more of the bright color.

Zoya Pippa

Yellow! Yellows are tricky because I find they are difficult to find great opacity. This one is a good option. It's bright, it has decent application and if you apply it right it can be totally opaque in three coats as shown here.

China Glaze Passion

This is a gold color from the China Glaze Romantique Collection. I bought this color primarily for Konad and Bundle Monster since metallics seem to transfer well. I'm not sure I like it as a stand alone polish mostly because I hate polishes where you can see the brush strokes. However, it will be great for accent painting and I will put it to use. The picture here is three coats of polish.

China Glaze Paper Chasing

This is from the China Glaze Kicks Collection. Unfortunately this picture has a better focus on the bottle than the nail. But you can see it is a jewel tone green color with a bit of a shimmer. It's a great color, but it stains the nail so beware! Here it is shown in three coats.

China Glaze Platinum Silver

I purchased this metallic silver color in order to replace a dwindling bottle of China Glaze Millennium that is no longer stocked in my local beauty stores. It's originally part of China Glaze Metallic Platinum Collection. I like it OK, but it doesn't really compare to what I was trying to replace. I don't appreciate that you can see the brush strokes, but it should come in handy for some Konad or Bundle Monster work.

China Glaze Paper Chasing

Here is a green shimmer from the China Glaze Kicks Collection. With three coats, its still not fully opaque. Also to note this green can stain your nails (as many greens can), so beware there may be a bit more clean up after removing the polish.

China Glaze Papaya Punch

Orange. This color is true orange. This is from the China Glaze Island Escape Collection. This color is fully opaque in two coats but the formula for me was very thick and took a long time to dry in the three coats I applied. I have had to add thinner to it several times to get a good consistency. With that said it is a great creme color and I like it very much.
