China Glaze CG In The City

I was drawn to the sparkles in this polish, and unfortunately was a bit disappointed in the result.  I thought this color from China Glaze's Metro Collection was going to be more opaque.  It's pretty, but more for layering, I think.  The polish has a purple, silver hue.  My pink nails might have impacted the pictures.  Three coats are shown.

China Glaze City Siren

A great berry red from China Glaze's Metro Collection.  It's just a pure, berry creme with high shine and fabulous application.  These photos show three coats and no top coat.

China Glaze Crimson

I didn't intend to pick up any of the colors from this year's Haunting Collection from China Glaze, but when it went on sale at Sally's, I picked it up.  I like it.  It's a nearly black plum with perfect application.  I have it painted in three coats for these photos.

China Glaze Classic Camel

This color is from China Glaze's Vintage Vixen Collection.  I'm not sure why, but I am drawn to ugly colors some times.  I think this one falls in that category.  It's not ugly, per se, but it isn't your typical color or neutral.  It's mostly a tan color with yellow undertones and nice golden flecks.  Application is decent (although this picture is passable, at best), but is shown with three coats.

Zoya Cynthia

This color is from Zoya's Smoke Collection. It's a described as a blackened peacock teal. It looks nearly black on the nail. Bright lights pick up the green/blue undertones. It's a great cream with good application. Pictures show three coats.

Zoya Crystal

Crystal is a very unique and pretty frosty blue with gold flecks. She's from the Flame Collection and has good application. I see some bald spots in this photo, but it's probably more from fast painting, not problematic application.

Zoya Charla

This is a favorite for me. Hands down. It is just the most beautiful aqua shimmer I've had the pleasure of meeting. With golden sparkles and blue and green undertones, it looks different depending on the light, but it is shimmery no matter what! I wish it was easier to capture in photos, but I've done my best. I'm showing you three coats of Charla. This color is from the Zoya Sparkle Collection.

Zoya Caitlin

Love this color. It's from Zoya's Intimate Collection and I'm not sure how to describe it. Zoya says its a purple-tinged gray. I think that's appropriate. My pictures show a lot of blue undertones, but it's a lot more dusty than they suggest. Either way, it's just unlike any color I have and it is very pretty. Application is fantastic and photos here show three coats of polish.

China Glaze Celtic Sun

This color is a very sheer but very bright neon from China Glaze. This photo swatch isn't really representative of the color in real life, but the right side of the bottle in this picture gives a pretty close idea. As you can see here, this color is sheer. I have painted three coats in this picture and you can clearly see the smile lines on my nail. If you are going to paint with this color, I recommend you paint it over white for a great pop of highlighter yellow!

China Glaze Cheers To You

This is a silver foil finish from China Glaze "Tis The Season To Be Naughty And Nice" collection. It can be opaque in two coats but is shown here in three. I love to use it as a base for water marbling with jelly colors to make them almost glow from within.
