Hard to believe that this little guy is already six months old!
At this age he is by far the smiliest of any of my kids. He is also the clingiest! He will almost always give anyone who approaches lots of big smiles...as long as I or daddy is holding him! He is still not much of a sleeper but it is improving some!
He is getting very close to sitting on his own. He loves to bounce and bounce and bounce some more in his jumperoo. He also likes the exersaucer now (big change from last month). The good news in all this is that I can actually set him down for a few minutes without him screaming. He has gotten awesome at rolling both directions...diaper changes are a challenge!
He plays with his feet constantly and always has his hands gripping on something. It is impossible to do much with him in my arms right now. He also almost always has a solid grip on my hair (never had a baby do this before). So you will almost always see me with my hair pulled back! Here he was refusing a smile for me....and then...
He gave in! He talks and coos constantly (trying to compete with the siblings). He loves to watch his siblings and grab them for a hug if they ever get close enough. Many dinners we set him in the middle of the table on a bumbo and he just soaks up the chaos that is dinner at our house. It's cute to watch him look around at all of us! So far we have tried lots of solids: rice cereal, oatmeal, green beans, sweet potatoes, pears, apples, bananas, and avocado. And (again unlike any of my other babies) he had an allergic reaction to green beans, sweet potatoes, and bananas. Rice cereal didn't go so hot either. He has a dr. appt next week and we will be discussing how to proceed on the food thing. He is definitely one hungry little man and loves to eat everything we've tried so far...his body just hasn't agreed!
We have all kinds of nicknames for him because that is just what we do in this house. We call him Bozaz (a little girl at church started that one), Bozer, Big Bad Bo, Boseph, and Boze (Cooper calls him that).
He is one sweet chubby cheeked, dimpled little blessing and we continue to absolutely adore him!
