I loved this book as a child. Chased out of her tree house home by angry squirrels (and who hasn't had such happen to them?) Miss Suzy takes refuge in a Victorian doll house, a style of furniture and decor I am still enamored with today.

True (Library) Story
Patron: Is it ok if I water your squirrel?
Coworker: Um... what?
Patron: It's so hot, do you think it would be ok if I gave some water to the squirrel in your tree?
Coworker: Sure, if you want to, I guess that's fine.
Patron: Great, I just wanted to check because I didn't know if you guys fed him a special diet or anything.
Coworker: Um... what?
