Card Class at ABSA
Hello Everyone!! Just a quick post today - I'm teaching a beginner card class tonight at ABSA and thought I'd show you what we'll be working on using products available from from the store. I also ran this class last week and the ladies all enjoyed themselves, so I hope the same can be said of tonight! :)
We've based all three cards on the Kaisercraft Clear stamps available in the store, some fun Cosmo Cricket DSP and teaching the ladies how to use border punches, embossing folders and Spellbinders (you know how much I love my Spellbinders!!).
This card is super basic in construction - the fun is all in the flower!!! I had to die cut 240 flowers all up for the 24 ladies doing the classes!!! Don't know if I want to do that again in a hurry - but they turned out awesome!! :)
Stamps - Kaisercraft
Paper - Lemonade, Limeade, Tomato Bazzill, White, Cosmo Cricket Strawberry Fields (both sides)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Memento Ladybug
Accessories - Large Circle and Scallop Circle, Large Oval and Scallop Oval, Dahlia, Daisy Heads Spellbinders, Fiskars Lacy Days of Summer and Lace Border Punches, Swiss Dots and Gootchi Script Embossing Folders, Red and White Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Red Pearls, Foam Tape.
That's all for today, thanks for visiting!!! :)

Faithful Lillies
Hello Everyone!! Today I have a card that I've made for the JustRite Stampers Challenge which is sponsored this week by Spellbinders!! You have to use two JustRite Stamp Sets and at least two different Spellbinders die shapes!! There are great prizes up for grabs so check it out on the JustRite Blog!!! I've also used the sketch from this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC69 - the muse this month is none other than our own JustRite Girl Debbie Olsen!!
I've used three Spellbinders shapes - Large Oval Nestabilities, Large Circle Nestabilities and Label 11 Nestabilities. The two JustRite sets I've used are the Breath of Spring for the Lillies of the Valley and the sentiment is from the Tiny Words set. The Tiny Words set, along with all products in the 1 3/16th size are 20% off for a short time - you can find them HERE!!!
I used a base of Kiwi Kiss and layered with Very Vanilla embossed with Swiss Dots. The next two panels are pieces of Kaisercraft Devonshire Collection DSP matted with more Kiwi Kiss (the vertical panel punched with the Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Punch and I've attached a piece of ivory ribbon). I've stamped the Lillies of the Valley from Breath of Spring in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (YG03, YG63, YG67, C1) and then added touches of sparkle with the Spica Clear Pen. I cut this out with Large Oval Nestabilities and matted with Baja Breeze cut with Label 11 Nestabilities.
The sentiment panel is from the Tiny Words set and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and Old Olive. I cut the border and centre out with Large Circle Nestabilities and popped the centre up on foam tape. I gave the butterfly I touch of colour with Copics Y11 and Y21. To finish off the card I added an ivory bow to the ribbon and topped it with a blue button and silver cord.
Stamps - Breath of Spring, Tiny Words (JustRite)
Paper - Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, X-press It Blending Card, Kaisercraft Devonshire Collection DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Olive
Accessories - Label 11, Large Oval and Large Circle Nestabilities, Copics, Swiss Dots EF, Ivory Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Blue Button, Silver Cord, Martha Stewart Arch Lattic Punch, Foam Tape.

MTSC68 Red Poppies
Today I got to make this super quick card for this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge - MTSC68!
I started with a base of black bazzill and layered with white and three pieces of retired SU Ginger Blossom DSP. For the main panel I stamped the poppies from JustRite's Plant a Little Love set in Memento Tuxedo Black on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (R22, R27, R29, YG11, YG63, YG67). There is more shading IRL - I don't know why it isn't showing up here! :( I cut it out with Small Circle Nestabilities and mounted on Scalloped Oval Nestabilities (red bazzill) and Label 7 (black bazzill). I finished by added some Black Kaisercraft Pearls to the bottom corner and a large black satin bow. I very nearly left off the bow, but it just looked so naked!! :)
Stamps - Plant a Little Love (JustRite)
Paper - Black and Red Bazzill, White, X-press It Blending Card, Ginger Blossom DSP (SU)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Small Circle, Large Scallop Oval, Label 7 Nestabilities, Copics, Black Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Black Pearls.

FS165 Blooming Morning Glory
Hello Everyone and I hope you enjoyed your Easter! Today I had a chance to play this week's Featured Stamper challenge - the honour going to TheresaCC. My goodness what an incredible gallery!!! I chose her A Second Summer card to case. I used a different image and sentiment, different colours and papers but otherwise kept the same feel of the card.
I started with a base of light purple bazzill and layered with dark purple and Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue DSP. The vertical panel is more Lilac Ave matted with light and dark purple. The flower panel has been stamped using JustRite's My Garden set in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with markers and a blender pen. I also sponged the background similar to what Theresa does. It was then cut out with small circle nesties and matted with dark purple cut with large circle nesties and the matching scallop circle in light purple. Below that I added some yellow ribbon. The sentiment is from JustRite's Seeds of Kindness set stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and Lovely Lilac and sponged again and cut with large circle nestabilities and matted with the matching scallop circle. To finish I added a bow to the ribbon using my Bow Easy and a couple of Kaisercraft lilac pearls to the top and bottow corners.
Stamps - My Garden, Seeds of Kindness (JustRite)
Paper - Lt and Dk Purple, White, Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Lovely Lilac
Accessories - Small, Large, Scallop Large Circle Nestabilities, 1" Yellow Ribbon, Bow Easy, Kaisercraft Lilac Pearls, Markers, Blender Pen, Foam Tape.
That's all for now, thanks for visiting!!! :)

JRC_012 Faith, Hope, Love
Happy Easter Everyone!!! I hope you are all blessed with a wonderful day!! Today's card could be reflected on as remembering the love Christ had for us as we celebrate Easter and although that IS true, I did actually make this for another special occasion. Today, my grandparents who I love very much, celebrate their 68th Wedding Anniversary!!!! Can you believe that - 68yrs - and they love each other as much today as they did then!!! Here they are, 68yrs ago.....
I have also used this week's JustRite Stampers Challenge JRC_012 which is super dooper easy - anything goes!!! Get out any of your JustRite Stamps and make something!! :) There is a $50 prize for the winner and $15 for honourable mentions!!! :)
I decided to use green as a focal for this colour, mostly because that is my grandfather's favourite colour. I started with a base of white, layered with green bazzill and more white embossed with Swiss Dots EF. The next panel is gold layered with some green Memory Box Frond DSP. In each corner I added some Vintage die cuts and topped with Kaisercraft Chino Pearls. For my feature panel I used the border from 2" Square Decorative Frames and the sentiment from Loving Thoughts. I matted this with gold and then another gold square en point. I then added this to the Fleur de Lis Pendant die cut that was white and covered with Wheat Fields Glimmer Mist.
Stamps - Loving Thoughts, 2" Square Decorative Frames (JustRite)
Paper - White, Green Bazzill, Gold, Memory Box Frond DSP
Ink - Old Olive
Accessories - Fleur de Lis Pendant Spellbinders, Vintage die set, Swiss Dots EF, Kaisercraft Chino Pearls, Wheat Fields Glimmer Mist.

Hello Everyone! Today I have another card made using Our Daily Bread designs' new Scripture Collection 3 Set and Vine Borders Set. This verse was submitted by my Design Team sister Dawn Lusk. I also used this week's Sweet Stop Sketch SSS49.

The feature panel has been stamped using Vine Borders and Scripture Collection 3 both by Our Daily Bread Designs. The Vine Borders was stamped in Old Olive and then I added a little colouring to the flowers. The verse has been stamped in Close to Cocoa and then matted with more brown bazzill and popped up with Foam Tape. To finish I added a couple of Kaisercraft Chino Pearls and a bow made with my Bow Easy.
Stamps - Scripture Collection 3, Vine Borders (Our Daily Bread Designs)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Sienna Bazzill, Kiwi Kiss, Kaisercraft Devonshire DSP
Ink - Old Olive, Close to Cocoa

A Ruby Anniversary
Firstly let me start by saying a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in the JustRite Stampers Blog Hop - there was such a big response it was totally amazing!!! Thank you to everyone who commented here and welcome to my new followers and subscribers!! :) If you didn't win anything, don't forget that you can still buy your 1 5/8 products from JustRite for 20% off - but only until the end of March!
Now - on to today's card!!! March 28th marked my parent's 40th Anniversary and since it is traditionally the Ruby Anniversary I decided to make them a card with red! I was inspired by this My Mind's Eye Lush paper which is red flocked. Since it had a creamy base I matched it with Very Vanilla and used black to make it pop.
I started with a Very Vanilla base and layered with black and the Lush DSP. Next I cut another piece of Vanilla, embossed it with Swiss Dots and matted it with some red bazzill. Next I took another piece of black and cut and embossed it with the Spades Pendant die and attached some 1" red satin ribbon through the sides and glued it down. I then took the centre sentiment from Loving Thoughts (which is currently 20% OFF!) and the border from 2" Square Decorative Frames and stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut it out with Lg Square Nestabilities and matted it with a piece of red bazzill and popped it up on foam tape. To finish I added a large red satin bow made with my Bow Easy and embellished with a few Kaisercraft Blush Pearls.
Stamps - Loving Thoughts, 2" Square Decorative Frames
Paper - Very Vanilla, Black Bazzill, My Mind's Eye Red Lush DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Spades Pendant Die, Lg Square Nestabilities, 1" Red Satin Ribbon, Kaisercraft Blush Pearls, Foam Tape.
Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad and wishing you many more ahead!!!! {{{HUGS}}}

Welcome to Day 3 of the JustRite Mega March Blog Hop! Have you been enjoying the first couple of days? Haven't the projects been awesome!! If you've missed any you can find the links on the JustRite Stampers Blog.
Today I've decided to use the violets from Breath of Spring and the sentiment from Joyful Hearts to create my card.
I love this sweet bouquet of violets and coloured them with markers (pale plum, perfect plum, mellow moss and old olive) and a blender pen and then cut them out and popped them up. Such a perfect match for the new Basic Grey Kioshi DSP that I picked up last week!! :)
I decorated the inside using the same decorative border (in the smaller size) to frame the sentiment.

Paper - Lt Purple Bazzill, Green Bazzill, White, Basic Grey Kioshi DSP
Ink - Perfect Plum, Memento Tuxedo Black

You have until Tues at 8:00PM US EST to complete the requirements to be eligible to win.
There will be TWO WINNERS... who will each receive a $15.00 Gift Certificate to the Our Daily Bread designs Store to go toward the stamps of your choice! Winners will be randomly chosen from all the qualified entries, and announced March 3rd on the ODBD Blog!
If for any reason a link is broken, simply return to the Our Daily Bread designs Blog to see who is next on the list, leaving a space for the missing words. Most often if you can't get on a blog or leave a comment now.... if you wait a little while and try again you usually can.
Now on to my project:
I started with a base of yellow bazzill and layered with green bazzill, white punched with the Fiskars Lace Border Punch and some Basic Grey Porcelain DSP. On top of that is a piece of green bazzill cut with Label 8 Nesabilities with some White May Arts Satin ribbon through the middle.
I have used the new Happy Easter set and stamped the daffodil in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with markers, cutting it out with Lg Oval Nesties, matting with yellow cut with the matching scallop nesties. To finish I added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls and a bow made with the Bow Easy.
For the inside I followed the same layout, although only adding a strip of the Porcelain DSP and then stamping the sentiment from Happy Easter across the top.
Before you go, I want to tell you about the exciting events we have planned for you this month! March 17 is the Second Anniversary of Our Daily Bread designs, and we are celebrating!!!

A Daisy Bouquet
I started this card with a base of Baja Breeze and layered with yellow bazzill (pierced around the edge), Not Quite Navy and some Urban Garden DSP. The vertical panel is more yellow bazzill punched on one side with the Martha Stewart Floral Lace Border Punch and layered with more Urban Garden DSP. Over the top of that I added some 1" White Satin Ribbon and attached a large bow and yellow button (thanks to my friend Michelle). To the side of this I added some Old Olive that has been cut using the Label 8 Nestabilities. I stamped the centre and border from Beautiful Blossoms twice - once in Jet Black Stazon and once in Not Quite Navy. I decided to handcut the oval because I wanted a very close trim and then sponged the centre with Summer Sun and popped it up on foam tape. I coloured the daisies and cut them out and popped them up on foam squares. To finish I added some Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to each corner of the Label 8.
Keep hopping and see what gorgeous projects the rest of the team have created!!!!!
